The village held a precious secret, that within the elders house, which stood grandly at the top the main road, was a powerful object, one which had been in a village for centuries. It's very nature was a closely guarded mystery and as outsider you know chance of learning any major details. Needless to say the village had to defend against more than just the local wildlife. Brimming with curiosity you start to contemplate how you could get into the elders hut and glimpse this prize.
Your train of thought is interrupted when suddenly there was a sound. The women scream, the children run and men stand bravely for about a second before they decide to run off screaming as well. You turn and realise that everything you faced so far as minor compared to this fresh monstrosity you were about come face to face with.
Challenge 5:

Design a prized possesion that the evil creature is seeking to capture. It must be a multicoloured permanent.
Design a creature created to terrorize the village, it must not share a colour with your other card and cannot be colourless.
This card will exist in a black bordered christmas set.

Thanks for the PM! I didn't spot this thread maybe bc the subtitle is the same as last rounds. Sorry, my fault. Here's an entry!

Design a creature created to terrorize the village, it must not share a colour with your other card and cannot be colourless.

3/5
Is it crits time? All the entries are in, let's get on with it.
Divine Effigy: I like this pretty well. It's not flashy but it looks solidly usable. Grotesque Abomination: I like that this card feels simultaneously modern and classic. It's very clean.
Mindlock Orb: Card name is taken. I like the flashy effect on this. It's pretty exciting. Betrayer of Fancies: I think this card could actually have been monogreen.
Crest of the Warm Hearth: Could this say "at least two creatures"? Minor wording quibble, I know. The effect strikes me as one of those locks that's very hard for some colors to deal with, particularly red. I'd worry about it developmentally. Corrupter of Hearts: I would be very wary about this. If you corrupt a fatty, you'll be able to remove a lot of creatures repeatably. "With the same controller" is a nice flavorful touch.
Crest of the Warm Hearth: Flavourful, but it's too powerful. At least drop the hexproof. Corrupter of Hearts: This one's okay.
NinjaCaterpie
Mindlock Orb: Name's already taken, but the card's good. Betrayer of Fancies: This could have been just green.
willows
Annunciating Star: Useful if you can play your opponent's cards. Chimney Lurker: Wording should be similar to Qasali Ambusher. Also, I can see this as just red.

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
I'll move the deadline up to the 9th if that works and as ever if there are any problems with deadlines then just let know in advance and I will try to work around them.
Moss_Elemental:
Artifact: It's well rounded in being totally anti-black. It feel underpowered as a 4 mana artifct that doesn't really do jack - maybe more of the mana could be loaded into the active ability.
Creature: Nice value creature. I feel like the first ability is a better than the second in the vast majority of scenarios, so it isn't really a meaningful choice most of the time. It's very simple and elegant though.
willows:
Enchantment: I like the potential this has. Being a replacement effect with extra effects is a little weird, but it's a good kind-of RIP effect.
Creature: This seems good - I feel like a lot of decks play sorceries and this can get you some serious board position. Should be alright as a couple of 2/1s though.
GG Crono:
Artifact: This seems busted as all hell. Three entire colours can't deal with it if you play it with two creatures - only black and white can kill creatures through the ability. I really don't think this needs hexproof - it's extremely powerful without it and with it just means it's near impossible to deal with in Standard (or especially Limited). I think it's busted.
Creature: Seems fair... mostly? Maybe? 4 mana per turn to wreck your opponent's board is also pretty pushed, but I think this is fair as it's not awfully hard to play around (and it's not too hard to remove, either).
