Whats not to like? Its 4 power makes it relevant no matter when it comes in. If it dies or is sacrificed then it just comes back next turn you attack. Tormented soul just got better by being in the same deck with this guy. Sai of the shinobi comes to mind as well. Barring grave hate, this card is a house!
Wish it had a normal cost, even if its is expensive, like 6. The blank cost makes it too gimmicky (well.. its YMTC so maybe that is ok); I simply think the graveyard ninjitsu is already cool enough.
In retrospect we probably could have pushed this card a little more (even a ninjutsu cost of 2B would have done wonders) but I think it's better to end on the safe side.Adding an on-hit effect would have maybe made the card a bit too good because of how hard it is to deal with. Getting hit for 4 over and over without an out is already a problem, we don't really need to stack on top of that. Plus, this card seems like an absolute beating in limited.
All in all, probably not the strongest card we've ever made, but I think it's interesting and exciting and that's why i like the design a lot.

What I like best about this card is that I think you really captured the flavor of a Spirit Ninja, a creature subtype never used before. Only being able to use its ninjutsu ability gives it that feeling of the ultimate surprise attack that a ghost would most likely do. And the second ability adds to that.
Not the most playable card, but amazing design and flavor!
Seems pretty sweet. I wish there were more alternate cost cards. If you have infinite mana, an unblocked attacker, and a sac outlet can you infinitely sac and recur Fang of Numai?
So I don't contribute to this when you guys are making the card but this one was so awesome I just had to say, bravo friends and keep up the good work.
For those not seeing the upside of this card in decks with a lot of ETB effects, this guy keeps resetting your ETB guys forever (at a reasonable cost of mana) because he doesn't die, unlike regular ninjas. The amount of long term card advantage is really good.
While I haven't playtested it (something we understandably don't have time to do in YMTC) this card feels spot on.

Wait, not to be a jerk, but doesn't he not work as written? It says you can play the ninjutsu ability from the graveyard but the ability (when it resolves) says put him from your hand into play tapped and attacking, which he won't be in the hand. I get the idea, but it needs to be reworded.
I'm not 100% sure on this, but here's what i've got:

So this has no saboteur ability and it has a fake ninjutsu ability that doesn't work. And doesn't have a mana cost.

Or the more practical method of simply removing the phrase "from your hand" from the ninjutsu rules text. Since ninjutsu is (normally) only activated form your hand anyways i don't see what the point of it is in the first place.

Im pretty good with rule calls, usually, but im not seeing how this doesnt work. The ability says from yiur hand and the next ability says as though it is in your hand. Looks like it works fine. Everybody knows cards break the rules and always go with the cards. Saying this doesnt work is like saying fastbond wont allow for extra land drops cause the rules say only 1 per rurn. I can lose if I have a plat angel in play because the rules say at 0 or less life I lose?

Yah but this is true of all ninjas. Why not just play higure or throat-slitter?
Letting your opponent know its coming by it being in graveyard feels off to me as it should be a more of a surprise mechanic.
I understand you have to take away its on hit ability because of the recursion but now it doesn't feel like a ninja at all.
Overall another great card!
