Time of Ice, taken from Art of MTG, by Franz Vohwinkel and Wizards of the Coast
Welcome to the Card Creation League! Everyone is free to participate in either or both of the first two rounds. Come join us!
Theme
As is CCL tradition, December is winter celebrations month. And of course, Christmas is still a couple weeks away, but there's something to do in the meantime: Advent calendars! A set of doors that you open at regular intervals that give you something different every time? Now what does that sound like in Magic...?
Challenge
Design a Saga.
Make sure to include a rarity.
Stay tuned for November's CCL Final Poll. Anyone who votes will receive 2 bonus points for December's CCL!
PLEASE NOTE: This month will NO LONGER use the "mandatory top 3" rule. Critiques and top 3s will each be worth one bonus point per round but it will be possible to score points and advance even without submitting a top 3. This will also be done on a trial basis; future months may once again require top 3s from contestants.
This month's schedule has been slightly modified owing to its late start. Your submissions are due Friday, December 14th, 23:59 EST.
Schedule
Round 1 — Open to Everyone (December 3rd-8th)
Round 2 — Open to Everyone (December 9th–14th)

Sooo, after some careful deduction, this looks better in a monocolored deck (RIP RAVNICA). I think the low cost fits the somewhat jumbled chapters, but the rarity could definitly drop to rare, maybe even uncommon.

ChronocidalManiac: Not sure this needs to be Grixis colors - this could easily be Dimir colors only. Other than that this is just oozing with flavor - great way to summarize the Tarkir story on a single card.
Hemlock: Mechanically this is great, but flavorfully this needs a different name. Also this feels like it should be Azorius-colored. Effect feels balanced, but this is a bend in white.
kwanyeegor: Flavor is cool, not a fan of how this plays mechanically. It looks like a symmetrical card that's very difficult to break the symmetry of by building around it.
Subject16: Was wondering how many people would make holiday Sagas. This is the best of the bunch both in terms of flavor and mechanics. I like how this plays too - gives Boros some nice card advantage. It looks like it's a bend but it actually isn't.
InfinityDie: Jack Skellington was here. This card has to have blue in it - stealing permanents is a bend in black.
netn10: I think there's enough room on the card for a four-chapter Saga? I do like how this represents the four seasons.

A mere ten days after the Mending, a young knight of Valeron and a young ranger of Eos made a discovery that would change Alara forever.
Subject16: Good balance on each of the steps and also feels quite christmassy. Great job.
ChrinocidalManiac: Great flavor and with the potential of being a really powerful play if you build around it.
netn10: Nice idea of bringing the lore count to 4. There's an extra turn between the firat and tje last effect, so the vost might demand some reduction here
Raikou Raider: Very cool Great-Aurora like wffect but I see the problem or this being too easily chainable. The effect after Ii would allow you to fill your pool, play another for and get a massive advantage over your opponents.
Cardz5000- Neat idea.I think the balance should be checked.
InfinityDie: Some wording issues, feels odd not being blue, althought black has had its share of stealing stuff, any permanent is not in line with the tradition.

Emille, Seven-Sting Dancer Shalin Nariya
