Let's return to a classic theme this month - watching a legend progress.
What really makes a legend, when you come down to it? Well, it's the fact that you can feel the specialness just by being nearby.
Main Challenge: Design a legendary enchantment card that represents the intangible influence of your round 1, 2, or 3 card. You must specify the card you're using.
Subchallenge 1: Your card has a color identity that has either exactly one fewer color in it or one more color in it than the referenced card. Subchallenge 2: Your card has an ability that creates one or more legendary tokens.
Please message me about any questions you might have about the challenges. Other than that, have fun, and good luck!
Color identity is the Commander deckbuilding rule definition: The colors of the card, plus the colors of its back face if it's a DFC, plus the colors of the mana symbols in its text.
If the color identity is red-white, for example, either a red card or a red-green-white card would pass subchallenge 1, but not a card that is colorless or one that is all colors.
Design Deadline: All submissions are to be final and submitted by December 3rd 11:59 PM EST
Judging Deadline: All Judgements are to be final and completed by December 6th 11:59 PM EST
Design - (X/3) Appeal: Do the different player psychographics (Timmy/Johhny/Spike) have a use for the card? (X/3) Elegance: Is the card easily understandable at a glance? Do all the flavor and mechanics combined as a whole make sense?
Development - (X/3) Viability: How well does the card fit into the color wheel? Does it break or bend the rules of the game? Is it the appropriate rarity? (X/3) Balance: Does the card have a power level appropriate for contemporary constructed/limited environments without breaking them? Does it play well in casual and multiplayer formats? Does it create or fit into a deck/archetype? Does it create an oppressive environment?
Creativity - (X/3) Uniqueness: Has a card like this ever been printed before? Does it use new mechanics, ideas, or design space? Does it combine old ideas in a new way? Overall, does it feel “fresh”? (X/3) Flavor: Does the name seem realistic for a card? Does the flavor text sound professional? Do all the flavor elements synch together to please Vorthos players?
Polish - (X/3) Quality: Points deducted for incorrect spelling, grammar, and templating. (X/2) *Main Challenge: Was the main challenge satisfied? Was it approached in a unique or interesting way? Does the card fit the intent of the challenge? (X/2) Subchallenges: One point awarded per satisfied subchallenge condition.
Total: X/25

A reminder to everyone: In the MCC, putting rarity on cards is mandatory! If you don't put a rarity on your card, expect huge deductions in both Viability AND Quality.
Also, you should format your text cards accordingly to the forum rules (see the "this formatting looks best" spoiler in the linked OP). Again, expect deductions in Quality otherwise.

Design - (2/3) Appeal: Timmy doesn't care. Spike is a little interested. Johnny can definitely do something with this. (1.5/3) Elegance: Wordy, and there's a lot of moving parts to this.
Development - (3/3) Viability: Definitely blue, definitely mythic. (2/3) Balance: It's not broken on its own, but it reduces the cost of artifacts twice over and historically that's a one way ticket to ba-roken town. Balanced a bit by legendary.
Creativity - (2.5/3) Uniqueness: The parts of this card have all been done sepearately, but they go together really well and make a whole that's something new. (3/3) Flavor: Full marks here.
Polish - (3/3) Quality: No problems. (2/2) *Main Challenge: Check. (2/2) Subchallenges: And double check.

Design - (2/3) Appeal: This isn't really Timmy's cup of tea, but Johnny and Spike are both interested. (3/3) Elegance: Pretty simple.
Development - (2/3) Viability: That's a white rare all right. I'm not sure it needed to be blue or mythic, though. (2/3) Balance: Might actually be a little underpowered, but could be broken too. Looks like a card that needs extensive playtesting to be sure.
Creativity - (1.5/3) Uniqueness: Very similar to Séance. (3/3) Flavor: I love the flavor on this one.

If you or a permanent you control would be dealt damage, instead you may divide that damage as you choose among you and any number of permanents with exalted you control.
Design - (3/3) Appeal: All 3 psychographics are at least interested. (0/3) Elegance: First of all, every card with exalted to date includes the reminder text. Second this is wordy as all get out. Thirdly this has a ton of board complexity and makes combat math a nightmare. Fourthly, the wording implies that I can assign damage to noncreature permanents; as far as i know there's no way to give a planeswalker Exalted without also making it a creature.
Development - (2/3) Viability: Doesn't need green, and probably should have been mythic. (3/3) Balance: Balance looks fine, but it could easily backfire if you don't have enough creatures with Exalted.
Creativity - (2/3) Uniqueness:Pariah turned up to 11, but otherwise unique. (3/3) Flavor: Very Bant.

Design - (2/3) Appeal: Quite specific mana ramp to color Timmy impressed. Other two can use it for sure. (2,5/3) Elegance: Wordy but clear.
Development - (3/3) Viability: Two legendary permanents in one card is mythic indeed. Artifact mana ramp is pretty blue. (2,5/3) Balance: I guess this is fairly balanced but still specific so I can't call it a panacea.
Creativity - (2/3) Uniqueness: Sort of Chief Engineer + Etherium Sculptor in a form of two legendary noncreature permanents. Still unique but not SO much. (3/3) Flavor: I got it.

Legendary Enchantment (M) 3WU, Exile a creature card from your graveyard: Create a legendary white Spirit creature token that's a copy of the exiled card, except its name is Captain Andari, and it's legendary in addition to its other types. After his death, legends of Captain Andari grew until it seemed as though he were capable of almost any feat.
Design - (2/3) Appeal: Expensive for Timmy, valuable for Spike, extremely comborific for Johnny. (3/3) Elegance: All clear but see Quality section.
Development - (2/3) Viability: Copying is blue but Seanse proves this card can be monowhite as well. Same for rarity. (2/3) Balance: Depends of card you use to exile. Still can't see play in eternal formats I guess.
Creativity - (2/3) Uniqueness:Seanse exists, but legendary tweak/restriction adds some. (2,5/3) Flavor: This feels like some sort of evil possession, not hallowed spiritism. Maybe black?...

Unifying Metasigil3GW
Legendary Enchantment {R}
When Unifying Metasigil enters the battlefield, create a legendary 4/4 green and white Angel creature token with flying, vigilance, and exalted named Dailana, Asura of Unity.
If you or a permanent you control would be dealt damage, instead you may divide that damage as you choose among you and any number of permanents with exalted you control.
Design - (2,5/3) Appeal: Not groundbreaking but appropriate for Timmy, good for Johnny and Spike. (1/3) Elegance: Kinda messy. And redirecting damage to Cathedral of War? Judge!!
Development - (2/3) Viability: Mythic no less, also nothing green about this card. Even blue would be more appropriate (and fits your legand's color identity too). (2/3) Balance: Usable but requires building around. Can't affect eternal formats at all.
Creativity - (2,5/3) Uniqueness: Reminds me of something from Bant but I'm not quite sure what exactly. (3/3) Flavor: I reduced points in Viability section so nothing more.
Design - (3/3) Appeal: Timmy loves b i g m a n a/ramp, Johnny obviously sees this as potent combo fuel, and Spike sees plenty of value that also doesn't go away completely even if the enchantment is removed. (3/3) Elegance: Nicely elegant.
Development - (2.5/3) Viability: The sheer amount of ramp this can do is borderline in blue, although blue has a long history of making mana that can only be used for artifacts. Mythic is okay, but I would have personally gone for rare except in an extremely artifact-heavy Limited. (2.5/3) Balance: Possibly scary, would need a lot of testing, but the decks that could use this card the best are degenerate and rely on broken cards anyway.
Creativity - (2/3) Uniqueness: Definitely effects we've seen before, but on a new mass scale and the legendary noncreature artifact token is a pretty unique idea too. (3/3) Flavor: Sweet. Good name and good explanatory flavor text.
Design - (2.5/3) Appeal: Timmy likes a Swiss Army legend generator, Johnny likes this with Mirror Gallery and also just to use ETB/death triggers, and Spike likes a versatile recurring beater but doesn't like that the enchantment just sits around doing nothing until you activate it and it would be a very specific deck that would want to spend its second turn just dropping this. (3/3) Elegance: Nicely elegant.
Development - (2.5/3) Viability: I like this at mythic but rare wouldn't be out of the question. This feels as though it could be monoblue if not for the Andari connection, but the recursion/resurrection stuff is white (Seance). (3/3) Balance: Potent, but expensive to use - the balance here is likely fine.
Creativity - (1.5/3) Uniqueness: Plenty of cards have copied creatures from the grave before but the recurring legendary token aspect is new. (3/3) Flavor: I was all "What the heck, why can a relatively normal person's ghost be a baloth or a God?" Then I read the flavor text. Perfect job tying it all together.
Design - (3/3) Appeal: Timmy likes exalted in the first place and this provides a big beater and a way to guard both your life total and other threats. Johnny likes building-around things and could do something with the redirection, as well as blinking the enchantment + Mirror Gallery. Spike enjoys a big threat that also has a kind of insurance. (2.5/3) Elegance: Redirection ability is tough to parse at first, but a generally elegant design.
Development - (2.5/3) Viability: Colors seem right, although you could argue this could be monowhite. Mythic is almost completely necessary. (2.5/3) Balance: I'm glad this is mythic because it would be a brick house in Limited. It's an extremely strong card when built around, obviously, and could make for a great Standard deck with the right other cards to go with it - as-is it seems mostly like a great Commander card.
Creativity - (3/3) Uniqueness: Effective double-exalted, exalted-matters/"exalted tribal", and that unique redirect ability - very innovative stuff. (1.5/3) Flavor: No flavor text. The idea of a "sigil above all sigils" and its attendant archangel are pretty good, but the name Unifying Metasigil is too futuristic-seeming for Bant.

Kovan, Ingenious Blacksmith 1UR
Legendary Creature — Human Artificer (R)
Haste
Other Artificer creatures you control get +1/+1.
Whenever Kovan, Ingenious Blacksmith deals combat damage to a player, you may tap or untap target artifact.
“I’ve been a master blacksmith for most of my life. Now my work inspires a whole new generation of artificers.”
2/3
Kovan’s Mastery 2U
Legendary Enchantment (M)
When Kovan’s Mastery enters the battlefield, create a legendary artifact token named Kovan’s Tome with “Artifact spells you cast cost 1 less to cast.”
Tap an untapped artifact you control: Add C to your mana pool. Spend this mana only to cast artifact spells or activate abilities of artifacts.
“When I find myself stuck, I always turn to master Kovan’s books. They are the best source of inspiration.”
—Neskan, young artificer
Design -
(2/3) Appeal: Timmy doesn't care. Spike is a little interested. Johnny can definitely do something with this.
(1.5/3) Elegance: Wordy, and there's a lot of moving parts to this.
Development -
(3/3) Viability: Definitely blue, definitely mythic.
(2/3) Balance: It's not broken on its own, but it reduces the cost of artifacts twice over and historically that's a one way ticket to ba-roken town. Balanced a bit by legendary.
Creativity -
(2.5/3) Uniqueness: The parts of this card have all been done sepearately, but they go together really well and make a whole that's something new.
(3/3) Flavor: Full marks here.
Polish -
(3/3) Quality: No problems.
(2/2) *Main Challenge: Check.
(2/2) Subchallenges: And double check.

Legendary Creature — Human Soldier (R)
First strike
Whenever a Human you control attacks, create a 1/1 white Spirit creature token with flying that is tapped and attacking. Exile that token at end of combat.
"Fear not my brothers, for we do not fight alone, but with generations of our forefathers by our sides."
3/2[/quote]
Memories of Andari WU
Legendary Enchantment (M)
3WU, Exile a creature card from your graveyard: Create a legendary white Spirit creature token that's a copy of the exiled card, except its name is Captain Andari, and it's legendary in addition to its other types.
After his death, legends of Captain Andari grew until it seemed as though he were capable of almost any feat.
Design -
(2/3) Appeal: This isn't really Timmy's cup of tea, but Johnny and Spike are both interested.
(3/3) Elegance: Pretty simple.
Development -
(2/3) Viability: That's a white rare all right. I'm not sure it needed to be blue or mythic, though.
(2/3) Balance: Might actually be a little underpowered, but could be broken too. Looks like a card that needs extensive playtesting to be sure.
Creativity -
(1.5/3) Uniqueness: Very similar to Séance.
(3/3) Flavor: I love the flavor on this one.
Polish -
(2/3) Quality: Don't need to specify twice that it's legendary (-1).
(2/2) *Main Challenge: Yep.
(2/2) Subchallenges: Yes to both.

Legendary Artifact - Equipment {M}
Creatures you control have exalted. (If a creature has multiple instances of exalted, each triggers separately.)
Equipped creature has flying and vigilance, and is an Angel in addition to its other types.
As long as equipped creature is attacking alone, it has trample, indestructible, and can't be blocked by more than one creature.
Equip 3
Unifying Metasigil 3GW
Legendary Enchantment {R}
Design -
(3/3) Appeal: All 3 psychographics are at least interested.
Development -
(2/3) Viability: Doesn't need green, and probably should have been mythic.
(3/3) Balance: Balance looks fine, but it could easily backfire if you don't have enough creatures with Exalted.
Creativity -
(2/3) Uniqueness: Pariah turned up to 11, but otherwise unique.
(3/3) Flavor: Very Bant.
Polish -
(3/3) Quality: I see no problems.
(2/2) *Main Challenge: Good.
(2/2) Subchallenges: Both good.

Design -
(2/3) Appeal: Quite specific mana ramp to color Timmy impressed. Other two can use it for sure.
(2,5/3) Elegance: Wordy but clear.
Development -
(3/3) Viability: Two legendary permanents in one card is mythic indeed. Artifact mana ramp is pretty blue.
(2,5/3) Balance: I guess this is fairly balanced but still specific so I can't call it a panacea.
Creativity -
(2/3) Uniqueness: Sort of Chief Engineer + Etherium Sculptor in a form of two legendary noncreature permanents. Still unique but not SO much.
(3/3) Flavor: I got it.
Polish -
(3/3) Quality: No problems.

Design -
(2/3) Appeal: Expensive for Timmy, valuable for Spike, extremely comborific for Johnny.
(3/3) Elegance: All clear but see Quality section.
Development -
(2/3) Viability: Copying is blue but Seanse proves this card can be monowhite as well. Same for rarity.
(2/3) Balance: Depends of card you use to exile. Still can't see play in eternal formats I guess.
Creativity -
(2/3) Uniqueness: Seanse exists, but legendary tweak/restriction adds some.
(2,5/3) Flavor: This feels like some sort of evil possession, not hallowed spiritism. Maybe black?...
Polish -
(2,5/3) Quality: Legendary mentioned twice.

If you or a permanent you control would be dealt damage, instead you may divide that damage as you choose among you and any number of permanents with exalted you control.
Design -
(2,5/3) Appeal: Not groundbreaking but appropriate for Timmy, good for Johnny and Spike.
(1/3) Elegance: Kinda messy. And redirecting damage to Cathedral of War? Judge!!
Development -
(2/3) Viability: Mythic no less, also nothing green about this card. Even blue would be more appropriate (and fits your legand's color identity too).
(2/3) Balance: Usable but requires building around. Can't affect eternal formats at all.
Creativity -
(2,5/3) Uniqueness: Reminds me of something from Bant but I'm not quite sure what exactly.
(3/3) Flavor: I reduced points in Viability section so nothing more.
Polish -
(3/3) Quality: All good.
(2/2) *Main Challenge: Yes.
(2/2) Subchallenges: Yes.
Total: 20/25

Design -
(3/3) Appeal: Timmy loves b i g m a n a/ramp, Johnny obviously sees this as potent combo fuel, and Spike sees plenty of value that also doesn't go away completely even if the enchantment is removed.
(3/3) Elegance: Nicely elegant.
Development -
(2.5/3) Viability: The sheer amount of ramp this can do is borderline in blue, although blue has a long history of making mana that can only be used for artifacts. Mythic is okay, but I would have personally gone for rare except in an extremely artifact-heavy Limited.
(2.5/3) Balance: Possibly scary, would need a lot of testing, but the decks that could use this card the best are degenerate and rely on broken cards anyway.
Creativity -
(2/3) Uniqueness: Definitely effects we've seen before, but on a new mass scale and the legendary noncreature artifact token is a pretty unique idea too.
(3/3) Flavor: Sweet. Good name and good explanatory flavor text.
Polish -
(3/3) Quality: Good.
(2/2) *Main Challenge: Done.
(2/2) Subchallenges: And done.
Total: 23/25
Design -
(2.5/3) Appeal: Timmy likes a Swiss Army legend generator, Johnny likes this with Mirror Gallery and also just to use ETB/death triggers, and Spike likes a versatile recurring beater but doesn't like that the enchantment just sits around doing nothing until you activate it and it would be a very specific deck that would want to spend its second turn just dropping this.
(3/3) Elegance: Nicely elegant.
Development -
(2.5/3) Viability: I like this at mythic but rare wouldn't be out of the question. This feels as though it could be monoblue if not for the Andari connection, but the recursion/resurrection stuff is white (Seance).
(3/3) Balance: Potent, but expensive to use - the balance here is likely fine.
Creativity -
(1.5/3) Uniqueness: Plenty of cards have copied creatures from the grave before but the recurring legendary token aspect is new.
(3/3) Flavor: I was all "What the heck, why can a relatively normal person's ghost be a baloth or a God?" Then I read the flavor text. Perfect job tying it all together.
Polish -
(3/3) Quality: Good.
(2/2) *Main Challenge: Done.
(2/2) Subchallenges: And done.
Total: 22.5/25
Design -
(3/3) Appeal: Timmy likes exalted in the first place and this provides a big beater and a way to guard both your life total and other threats.
Development -
(2.5/3) Viability: Colors seem right, although you could argue this could be monowhite.
Creativity -
(3/3) Uniqueness: Effective double-exalted, exalted-matters/"exalted tribal", and that unique redirect ability - very innovative stuff.
(1.5/3) Flavor: No flavor text. The idea of a "sigil above all sigils" and its attendant archangel are pretty good, but the name Unifying Metasigil is too futuristic-seeming for Bant.
Polish -
(3/3) Quality: Good.
(2/2) *Main Challenge: Done.
(2/2) Subchallenges: Met.
