So, I've been thinking about a way to make a planeswalker that cares about lands in some way other than the way Nissa's cards do (acceleration, manlands/typical green stuff). That of course lead me to the idea of land denial, and wondering if there was a... less annoying?/more fun? way of doing it than the much maligned Land Destruction.
So, here's my attempt at that (Note that it's an Origins style Legendary->Planeswalker DFC, cause his design worked out best with a way to rapidly distribute Ash counters):
Tarren, Druid of EmbersBRG
Legendary Creature - Human Druid
When Tarren, Druid of Embers enters the battlefield, and at the beginning of each player’s upkeep, put an ash counter on target land. (As long as a land has an ash counter on it, that land taps for C instead of mana of any color.) Then if there are three or more ash counters among lands on the battlefield exile Tarren, Druid of Embers then return him to the battlefield transformed under his owner’s control.
2/3
//////////////////
Tarren, the Ashen Skies
(B/R/G)Planeswalker - Tarren

-5 Tarren, the Ashen Skies deals damage equal to the number of lands with ash counters on them divided as you choose among any number of target players.
-10 Destroy each creature with toughness X or less, and each other planeswalker with X or fewer loyalty counters where X is the number of lands with ash counters on them. Remove all ash counters from all lands.
[2]
He's a Druid who embodies the dichotomy of Nature; Growth and regrowth v.s. raw destructiveness and savagery. The cycle of Birth, death, and rebirth. He's based around Fire ecology, that certain types of forest actually REQUIRE fires to sustain themselves, clearing away the brush and undergrowth to make way for new trees. He finds sick lands, and purges them with fire, so that they can be restored. He's utterly and absolutely unconcerned with any death or damage that may occur as a result. As far as he sees it, the land needed healing. If you were there and not helping, then you were probably part of the cause.
Mechanically, he meddles with land bases (stripping away their color) and has the potential to throw off your opponents tempo without actually depriving them of lands (in fact his + ability accelerates everyone).
He's BRG because those are the land destruction/matters colors.

Planeswalker - Emrakul
-2 Untap all colorless creatures you control. Those creatures get +1/+0 until the end of turn.
-3 Destroy target creature. Create a 4/3 colorless Eldrazi Werewolf creature token.
-7 Draw four cards, then discard four cards.
7
Before Battle for Thraben, I thought that I had seen the end of Innistrad. Now I see the end each full moon.
-Luxor, Cathar Commander
Next: famous mtg creature card as a planeswalker (I mean format staple but not a lore character)
Planeswalker - Jirik
Jirik, Golgari Dredgelord enters the battlefield with a loyalty counter on it for each creature card in your graveyard.
+1: Put the top two cards of your library into your graveyard.
-2: Until end of turn, creatures you control gain "2: Regenerate this creature."
-10: You get an emblem with "Whenever a creature card would be put into your hand from your graveyard, you may put it onto the battlefield instead."
[0]
(From Golgari Grave-Troll)
Next: A planeswalker that can temporarily turn into a non-creature permanent without transforming.
Planeswalker - Firen
0 Until your next turn, ~ becomes a Mountain basic land (he's no longer a planeswalker). Whenever you tap him for mana, put a loyalty counter on him.
-3 Until your next turn, creatures can't block.
-X ~ deals X damage to up to X target creatures, players or planeswalkers.
[1]
Sooo, I was going for something like Hamletback Goliath or Arixmethes. Maybe laying dormant for long periods of time as a mountain/volcano, then awakening and releasing all his built up loyalty in one big flash before falling dormant again.... not sure how well that translates though... eh. His -X ability is obv an eruption, but his -3 is meant to be like, tremors making creature's footing unstable.
I'd like to see... a Happy planeswalker. I'm not sure how exactly you're supposed to convey an emotion through a card, but that's what I would like to see.
Planeswalker - Akels
+2 Scry X where X is the number of Myr creatures you control.
+0 Create a 1/1 colorless Myr artifact creature token.
-9 Target non-artifact creature gains trample and +2/+2 for each Myr creature you control.
4
Akels likes hearing stories from myrs, it is his funnest thing to do. In his spare time, he befriends and creates more Myrs. He does not like putting Myr friends at risk, but he and his Myr friends will help an ally.
NEXT
A Planeswalker with guns, charm and good looks. And guns
Planeswalker - Bond
+1: Target creature can't attack during its controller's next turn. (Charm target creature.)
+0: Create a colorless Equipment artifact token named Gun. It has "Equipped creature has 'T: This creature deals 2 damage to target creature.'" and equip 1.
-6: Exile all creatures. Gain 1 life for each creature exiled this way.
[3]
Next: A walker with only static abilities.
Planeswalker - Firen
Whenever a Mountain is tapped for mana, put a loyalty counter on Firen, Dorment Wrath.
Whenever you cast a red spell, you may remove X Loyalty counters from Firen, Dorment Wrath instead of paying it's mana cost, where X is the card's converted mana cost.

Well, someone DID provide a 'Walker who was a land...
Next: A 'Walker who was born/made as a Phyrexian. There's nothing specifically saying that New Phyrexians who were born/made as one can't have a Spark, and Karn didn't actually have a Spark before Venser sacked himself. Karn used Phyrexian tech to 'Walk.
If needed, use the Karn excuse of them not actually having a Spark, or getting their Spark from someone else.
Jin-Gitaxias, Spark Augur 6UU
Planeswalker- Gitaxias
+2: Each opponent gets an emblem with "Your maximum hand size is decreased by one." You draw a card.
-1: You get an emblem with "Your maximum hand size is increased by one." You draw 3 cards.
-12: Draw any number of cards. Until your next turn, you may cast spells as though they had flash.
{{8}}
Next: Any legendary creature who has never had a planeswalker card as a planeswalker.
Low-power cube enthusiast!
My 1570 card cube (no longer updated)
My 415 Peasant+ Artifact and Enchantment Cube
Ever-Expanding "Just throw it in" cube.
Planeswalker - Radha
+1: Add GG to your mana pool.
0: Deal 2 damage to target creature and add RR to your mana pool.
-3: Exile target creature.
---
Idea behind it: Teferi said that Radha could have become a Planeswalker by connecting to the wound in the Multiverse that was the cause of the entire Time Spiral block. The -3 is just chucking someone into that rift unprotected.
Next: A 'Walker to support Dash decks, or a 'Walker that has Emblems produced by every ability.
Planeswalker - Bathal
-2] You get an emblem with "At the beginning of your upkeep, each player discards a card."
-3] You get an emblem with "T: Add C to your mana pool for each swamp you control."
-4] You get an emblem with "Creatures you control have lifelink."
6
Next: Planeswalker which hates control or monoblue or monoBlue EDH/Legacy decks.
Planeswalker - Skylet
+1: Until your next turn, the next time a non-red instant is cast, counter it. If a spell is countered this way, Skylet the Pyromaniac deals 2 damage to you.
-2: Destroy target non-basic land.
-5: Target player gets an emblem with "Whenever you cast a spell, it deals 1 damage to you."
[2]
Next: A Walker that generates and uses Energy counters.
Planeswalker - Zelretch
+2) Add to your mana pool for each loyalty counter on Zelretch.
-3) Deal 1 damage to target creature or planeswalker for each loyalty counter on Zelretch.
-15) You get an emblem with "Tap an untapped basic land you control: Exile target permanent, return it to the battlefield at the beginning of your next upkeep."
6
Zelretch can get mana from alternate realities. Z can presumably do lazer, but won't like it. The power of said lazer would not be limited by Z's power (he has unlimited) but limited by how much he is willing to help. His ultimate is probably he gave you some space time bending wand or something. He is colorless because he is powerful beyond the basic colors.
Next:
Kraken Planeswalker. This is a giant kraken that has like unlimited knowledge, can telepathically speak and can planeswalk.
Planeswalker - Oddvar
+3: Tap target creature. It doesn't untap during its controller's next untap step.
+1: Target land becomes an Island (this effect doesn't end at end of turn).
-2: Target creature gains Islandwalk until end of turn.
-12: Return all creatures your opponents control to their owners' hands. Return all creature cards from your graveyard to your hand.
[7]
Next: Walker that just gained its spark, so doesn't really know what's going on with themselves yet.
