(Why Gideon and Liliana? I thought there was supposed to be more chemistry between him and Chandra. Well, if we're going to do that, then how about storytime. So, Lily is pregnant, but she is evil and doesn't want Gideon raising her son to be a goodie two shoes and runs away, having the kid. Gideon, realizing that his choice in partners was ill advised, and that his child will be evil, chases after, and four years down the line, manages to catch up with his child. What follows is an impassioned battle, which concludes with Gideon gaining the upper hand, but Lily, being evil, kills her son to avoid him being raised by Gideon (uber evil). Gideon races around the multiverse, trying to find a way to save his son, but by the time he resurrects him, he's almost too far gone, half dead forever. That... seems out of character for Lili. I don't think she'd ever want to be a mother but at the same time she'd love her child just because she's very much on the "take care of our own" side of black (see: What she was willing to go through for her brother, even though that came back to bite her in the ass).
Also, having a main and occasionally somewhat protagonistic character be a child-murderer would be profoundly distasteful. George R.R. Martin does not write for Magic.

Concept: A Planeswalker's spark is part of their soul. So, in planes where souls stay around after death, a Planeswalker's spark can ignite after death. In Irish mythology, revenants are the spirits of people who died with something important unfinished, almost always revenge, posses their own corpse to carry out that task. This is the result of both of those things happening. The +1 ability is for icy powers, which are just there to give it something to do other than spam spirits every turn.
---
Next: Another for the lulzy Koru. The idea of a Planeswalking leech is just too ridiculous to only get one card for. Or a Planeswalker meant to be the player, as in 20 starting loyalty and abilities that represent the ubiquitous spells of some deck archetype.

Next: Another for the lulzy Koru. The idea of a Planeswalking leech is just too ridiculous to only get one card for. Or a Planeswalker meant to be the player, as in 20 starting loyalty and abilities that represent the ubiquitous spells of some deck archetype.
Planeswalker - Korwa
Flash, shroud, indestructible
You don't lose the game for having 0 or less life, you lose/gain life in the form of loyalty counters as long as Korwa is on the field.
+1: Deal 2 damage to target creature.
