I don't think that's necessary. Cards like Pentarch Ward grant protection to enchanted permanent so that you have to add a clause to exclude the enchantment from that effect. My card is the invert, granting protection from enchanted permanent.
Higher GroundR
Enchantment (Rare)
When Higher Ground enters the battlefield, draw a card.
Whenever a creature you control fights another creature you don’t control, it deals the damage before the second creature. (This ability triggers before the fight.)
i really like this idea, dunno if it works within the rules tho. fighting still happens within the timespace of the ability resolving. not sure what the rule is, maybe something about state based thingies and when those are checked or whatever.

Yeah, this doesn't work. First of all the trigger doesn't happen in the right order (reminder text doesn't affect actual rules, whatever it may say). It should be a replacement effect, e.g. "If a creature you control would fight another creature you don't control, it deals damage before the second creature."
And even then that's only marginally helpful, since state-based effects (which would cause the second creature to die) aren't checked until after the fight ends. The only way this would help is if your creature has infect or wither and therefore puts -1/-1 counters on the target before it damages your creature back.
Honestly it irks me that these sorts of pie-in-the-sky ideas get votes over my clearly more awesome more practical designs, which is why I haven't been posting many cards lately. That's my own perogative though...

I doubt this was intended, but Rudyard's post goes a long way towards answering Anachronity's post. I also see people post designs I've posted in the past, and I also don't fool myself into believing that my designs haven't been thought of by someone else before me. When you've been at this card design thing long enough, you tend to see a lot of the same designs being unintentionally rehashed by different people, which is one of the reasons people tend to vote for "pie in the sky" ideas. I sometimes discount a design I've seen before, even if it is an original design that I assume the person came up with all on there own. I try not to, but it can be difficult when you've seen the same basic card several times before. It must be even more difficult for people like Rudyard and void_nothing, since they've been doing this even longer than I have. Interestingly, the netn10 design that Anachronity is calling "pie in the sky" is an example of a design I discounted because I've seen it several times in the past. I do give netn10 credit for trying to word in way that might work (although I don't think it does). Usually people say something like "Creatures you control have first strike while fighting".
Precarious Hold
Enchantment – Aura (R)
Enchant creature
You control enchanted creature.
When enchanted creature becomes the target of a spell or ability, sacrifice Precarious Hold. As the rebellion continued to grow, the Brotherhood’s grasp on the minds of its followers slowly began to weaken.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if I've done this as well. I'm a bit surprised to hear you've done so, since I've always been impressed by your ability to remember cards, not only the ones you've made, but sometimes you seem to pull old designs others have made out of nowhere. Honestly, I've always wondered how you remember such things. I remembered making the "illusion" enchantment I posted in my previous post, but I remembered nothing more about it. I had to search "You control enchanted creature" by "Flatline" using the site's search function to find it. When I finally did find it, I was surprised it was so long ago. It seems like it was just the other day.

It's not just you, there are a few people around here that can seem to recall specific cards made by some other person years ago off the top of their head. I'm always amazed by this because it certainly isn't something that I can do very well. I often forget cards that actually exist in RL.
Edit; BTW, hell of a race to the finish we have going on here.

Hello, relatively new to this thread, and I had a few questions.
Is the DCC for black bordered cards only, or would something silver bordered also be acceptable?
If I wanted to create my own key/ability word would that be acceptable (provided I give appropriate reminder text/ explanation of what it does)
How polished do entry need to be, for instance if I gave a card an playtest style name that would never appear on a real magic card is that fine?
Hello, relatively new to this thread, and I had a few questions.

Silver border is fine, but there are definitely people who would never vote for an Un-card. It's legal but a risk.
If I wanted to create my own key/ability word would that be acceptable (provided I give appropriate reminder text/ explanation of what it does)
Is there a reason you might think this weren't the case? Custom keywords are created all the time.
How polished do entry need to be, for instance if I gave a card an playtest style name that would never appear on a real magic card is that fine?
You can technically enter a card without a name, mana cost, or text that has anything to do with Magic. However, the result will probably be no one voting for you. The expectation for custom cards that aren't explicitly mid-design/tweaking is that they should be theoretically printable as-is.
Gregarious Toymaker2RW
Creature - Dwarf Artifier (R)
When Gregarious Toymaker enters the battlefield reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a creature or artifact card. Create an artifact creature token that is a copy of that card with a base power and toughness 1/1.
Put the revealed cards on the bottom of your library in a random order.
2/3
Wouldn't it need to be worded like this....."When ~ enters the battlefield, reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal an artifact or creature card. Create a token that's a copy of that card, except it's an artifact creature with base power and toughness 1/1"? Also, I'm curious what happens if this thing reveals an equipment. Can you equip a creature to a creature? I'm assuming you can, but I could be mistaken.
Edit: I'm mistaken. The first sentence in rule 301.5C says, "An equipment that's also a creature can't equip a creature." Interestingly, the same rule also says, "An equipment can't equip itself." Which is a crazy scenario that never even occurred to me.

My Cubes:Pauper|Archetype
My Deviant Art
Silver border is fine, but there are definitely people who would never vote for an Un-card. It's legal but a risk.
Is there a reason you might think this weren't the case? Custom keywords are created all the time.
You can technically enter a card without a name, mana cost, or text that has anything to do with Magic. However, the result will probably be no one voting for you. The expectation for custom cards that aren't explicitly mid-design/tweaking is that they should be theoretically printable as-is.

Edit: I'm mistaken. The first sentence in rule 301.5C says, "An equipment that's also a creature can't equip a creature." Interestingly, the same rule also says, "An equipment can't equip itself." Which is a crazy scenario that never even occurred to me.
