this is so true- vigilance, life gain, anthems, overruns, artifact/enchantment destruction, creatures matter, tokens, both having been historically the least powerful colors... it's weird. i'd like to find more ways to separate their identities.
green draws cards, white has flying... whateva
I totally agree. When you get into the design space, they're very similar. I think the key differences in my mind are that white lays down rules, and green breaks rules--how translatable that is mechanically is hard to say. It used to be that while both colors got good creatures, green got fatties and white got weenies, but now that line too has been blurred quite a bit.

Hey MDenham I somehow got deleted from today's scoreboard. I had 30 points this month on the 21st scoreboard. I know I forgot to put up a card the other day but didn't think it got me deleted. Jeez LOL
Liked a lot of cards today (Oct. 23rd), particularly those by Rudyard (really neat, sort of a blink with extra options), MDenham (I love doomsday type of effects; exiling the library is a fun "risk/reward" to play with), aftermarketradio (funny as hell), arbitraryarmor (would have been my favorite card, flavor and mechanics, if it weren't for the phyrexian mana; I don't wanna see this on turn two), Whitemage57 (seen similar, but never this clean; how it took this long I'll never know), and SecretInfiltrator (still a fan, this could have been black but I'm okay with it in red, especially since I don't like black so easily getting rid of its pain inducing enchantments). Thankfully, I had a 6-sided die handy.

Enchantment (R)
At the beginning of your upkeep, if you have more than seven cards in hand, more life than your starting life total, and control more permanents than any other player, you win the game. “Whoever said money can’t buy you happiness simply didn’t know where to go shopping.”
— Wyeth Blackboot

Unless Whitemage57 and TurboJustice are two accounts by the same individual this is straight plagiarism.
Unless it's not okay to post a card you posted on another site (not in contest -- magicseteditor.sourceforge.net) than I'm all set. The linked thread on here must have been where someone here saw it at magicseteditor and posted here for feedback. If it's not okay even though I posted the original than I'll not do that again (I didn't do that all the time btw) and I apoligize.
It's more a case of verifying who created it. By it's nature, there's a lot of copying in MTG custom design. We each see something we like and apply it to our own creations, sometimes more closely to the line than others. The issue here is how much of it lines up with another card posted less than a week ago. Someone is posting a direct duplicate from someone else, and all we have to work with is the post dates as they're seen here. I don't know about disqualification, but it definitely makes voting for this card less savory, and would make me question future submissions as well. Tampering with designer ethics and so on.
On an unrelated note to the above discussion, my wife has a doctor's appointment somewhat before I have to be at work, so I have to leave about 40 minutes earlier than normal.
As a result, I'll put the next thread up an hour early.
Nobody sit out, geez, honestly, I'm just lamenting the fact that the thread went up early on the one day when I didn't have a chance to check the forums and find out that it was going up early
MDenham - You strap Tinfoil Cap onto Wind Drake. I attack you with Suntail Hawk. Can Drake block Hawk? The flying ability should be treating Drake as though it doesn't exist and its restriction on what can block it can't be met. I could pull up a million of these unclear cases.
Whitemage57 - Extract wasn't particularly interesting the first time it came around. Sure, this version combos with Tunnel Vision, but... bleh.
KlassyReborn - Way too annoying to be common. Probably too annoying to be a one-drop, even. Also feels much more red than blue.
CryoZenith - Even before red started getting greater access to wheeling effects like Faithless Looting, I would have called this a red card. It just fits red's ideas on resource exchange much more.
SecretInfiltrator - I liked this card a lot, except that black seems like a bad color to choose. Green has more instants on average per set, is one of the flash colors (which black isn't), and has a history of getting any card back from the graveyard (whereas black has been almost entirely creature based its entire existence). Change it to 1 and I'll vote for it.

Mystical Teachings is block oriented in a place that cared about flash. Which your card could be as well; I even assume that it is. But WOTC took care to arrange the keywords right after that set, and flash just isn't black. There's only been one card with flash since then that could be cast using only black mana: Torpor Dust.
I'm not saying your card can't exist in black. I'm saying it's a much better fit in green.
Endwaker7
Legendary Artifact - Equipment (M)
Endwaker can't be attached to creatures with power 6 or less.
Whenever equipped creature deals combat damage to a player, if there are three or more players, the game is a draw for that player. Otherwise, the game is a draw.
Equip 7 "This brings an end to fighting, but no victory."—Endwaker's inscription
I wanna know how a game can end in a draw for only one player. Because the game hasn't ended; if there are still two players in a game, someone may win and someone may lose, which is against the whole concept of a draw.
Compulsive Research was what I used as a mechanical lead. Sure you're not up on cards, but giving away lands for new cards feels blue. I do see an argument for it in red though.
It could work as blue, or red, or hybrid, or multicolor. One of those big overlaps.
the funny thing is i was thinking about posting the same spell as FreshMeat's (random edict) for the same cost (BR), but decided it wouldn't get votes since that color combination gets better removal at that cost
