well you often have a blurb in the header, and there is a note section in the copypasta header. I guess I've just been glazing through it and may have been missing something.

Euranes [Lorekeeper] :2mana::symu:
Legendary creature - Human Wizard (U)
Ascend 2 (When you sacrifice this to the legend rule, put 2 +1/+1 counters on the other Euranes and draw a card.)
:symtap:: Draw a card, then discard a card.
2/2
Euranes [the Unraveler] :3mana::symu::symu:
Legendary creature - Human Deus (R)
Flying.
When Euranes deals combat damage to an opponent, that player puts that many cards from the top of his or her library into his or her graveyard. Then you may return a nonland permanent that shares its name with one of those cards to its owner's hand.
4/4
I hope I'm keeping it within the rules by adding the followup card in the spoiler. I really feel it needs the 'Part two' to showcase the idea of "how the new legend rule could be used to great effect in a legend heavy set." Well, if public opinion is against it, I'll remove the whole spoiler. Oh, and "Name [title]" would get a rule to work as you guess they would.
A small bit of personal advice to everyone: If you find yourself having to use the word "lethal damage" in the rules text of a card you designed, you are wording that card wrong and it makes it sound horribly amateurish.
I'm calling it right now- worst rare in the set. Even good limited players will find better bombs at common and uncommon no sweat. Worst. Episode. Ever.
I really do predict this to be our worst rare in set award winner. I'd be happier opening a jar of eyeballs, so I think anything worse is highly unlikely. This card wont just have zero constructed potential, but not be significantly better than a mass of ghouls in a draft.

Mmm, on one hand I think Deathtouch would be most elegant using "(Any amount of damage this deals to a creature is lethal damage)", but I agree the wording is question couldn't work in a card.
I've been thinking about "Aetherstrike (If lethal damage in a creature includes damage from this, return that creature to its owner's hand.)". What do you think?

Exception: Ogre Enforcer, for which there is no other way to word that effect without referencing lethal damage.
It also violates the general rule that you shouldn't mention "damage marked on a creature", again for the same reason.
I liked your card Maokun (as did everyone else), it would be an awesome keyword for an enchantment theme. With its current wording, however, the enchantment retains the Transcend ability and replaces all effects that would put it in the graveyard, making it counter-intuitively indestructible for all intents and purposes. Here's two solutions: "If this permanent would die and is a creature,..." or "...becomes an enchantment and loses this ability instead".
Finishing in the top 8 of any of the contests (the DCC, the CCL, the MCC, or the occasional community games - basically, anything that gets one of the prefix tags) earns you points towards the CCC&G Pro Tour. (Winning a month gets you an automatic spot in the Pro Tour for that half of the year; the halves of the year are June-November and December-May.)
If you have enough points and there are fewer than 24 people who have automatic spots, the highest remaining people by point total fill in spots until we have 24 in the Pro Tour.
The points are also used for a couple of other things (explained better in the thread about the Pro Tour), but that's the quick outline, anyway.
Phew. That was a competitive month! Congratulations to everyone who made it into the top 8 and all the people who participated in the CCL this month. I've been out of the card creation game for a very long time. It's nice to come back to such a warm reception.
Agghh so close! Congratulations to BM, anyway, who led the competition through the whole month and shouldn't have been upstaged by some bozo at the last moment!

Man I had the feeling the 2nd day in this time around that it wasn't going to be my month. Despite that I thought I came up with a couple of my favourite designs this month. You guys provide a tonne of inspiration.
Replying to a comment Ghosting made alongside his card:
Yes, you got a point in each of the two preceding days' polls. However, the poll on the 1st of the month counts towards the previous month (since it's based on the date cards were submitted, rather than the date of the poll). So you got one point for May, and for the first poll that counts towards June, you have one point there as well.
Short version: the scores for a month are based on all cards submitted in that month.

Hahaha, I have to admit you scared me a bit Maokun. I welcome the competition though! You did really well. I loved the idea of the ascend mechanic.

Duly noted.

You win target thread. If you aren't Atrius, Atrius wins that thread instead.
"Wait, can you actually win a thread?" - Atrius.
I also don't much like the typeshift sorta things but I can see how it feels right and having it as a graveyard ability or emblem might feel wrong.
