I decided to go one further and label mine 1st place, 2nd place, etc. Thanks for the response Fearless Feline. Whatever MTG Salvation is paying you, it's not enough.

I feel like a high enough percentage of reviewers don't understand my card that I feel compelled to explain what it does. I'll put it in a spoiler so you can more easily skip this post if you don't card.
Gravity Magnet3
Artifact (R)
Tapped permanents lose all activated and triggered abilities. 2, t: Tap target nonland permanent.
This shuts a lot of things down that you might not notice. This version does work under the rules, unless I've made a serious error, but in my revision of the card I've changed the effect slightly so that it's more clear.
Gravity Magnet3
Artifact
Triggered abilities of tapped permanents don't trigger.
Activated abilities of tapped permanents can't be activated. 2, t: Tap target nonland permanent.
Things this can shut down:
• Planeswalkers, by tapping them.
• Geralf's Messanger: Both its ETB ability, and possibly its persist ability, if it dies while tapped.
• Any ETB trigger if the creature is entering tapped (perhaps due to Imposing Sovereign).
• Abilities of creatures that trigger when that creature attacks, as long as the creature doesn't have vigilance. The same goes for saboteur triggers.
• This can allow you to gain one-sided benefits from things like Font of Mythos or Kami of the Crescent Moon by making sure they're tapped at the appropriate time.
• This can shut down enchantments with triggers by tapping them before the triggering event happens.
...and the list goes on!
Now that the judging phase is over, I wanted to make a response to the consistent critique of my card.
Filigree Dragon4RU
Artifact Creature - Dragon (R)
Flying 1UR, Sacrifice an artifact: Filigree Dragon deals 3 damage to target creature or player. After devouring countless denizens of Esper, it began to spew breath unlike any of it's kin.
4/4
Pretty much every reviewer asked "Is this card blue?" or flat out said "This card should/could be mono red." I strongly disagree for two main and interrelated reasons. The first is the context of the card. The name and flavor make this card clearly from Alara Reborn, a multi colored only set taking place after the shards have come together combining the demi planes. Second, all colored artifacts cards in Alara had a tie to the colors of Esper, as specifically did all filigree cards. What is blue about Filigree Angel? According to my peers here, apparently nothing. I'd wager the argument for that card would be the same as mine, that it's an artifact that ties to Esper and cares about artifacts (even though white is tertiary to caring about artifacts naturally on its own.) You can say the same about Filigree Dragon, except with red instead of white.
I just wanted to levi that argument, as sometimes flavor and context warrants additional colors that may not be "necessary" depending how you directly interpret the mechanics of the design. However in Alara there is a clear mechanical context for artifact creatures as well as flavor that trumps what could possibly be a mono red card in another setting.

In fact, I still like this card more than enough to give it the first place of my top 3 and I don't regret that. I see your reasoning and in fact I thought about it myself too when doing my critiques. I just manifested my thought that being monored could have made the card even better. In fact, I don't see anything blue in Filigree Angel either, it's blue just because of the "all gold" gimmick of Alara Reborn. In the end, your explanation here is more than convincing to me. Everything's fine!

I don't think it's "Alara" the plane so much as "Alara Reborn" the set that Filigree Angel is acceptably blue. There were a fair few unnecessary multi-colour cards in ARB simply for the set gimmick (Deadshot Minotaur, Double Negative, etc). If your card were to exist in that set, it'd be passable (although I might expect it to be BR instead). In a vacuum, even with the Esper flavour, it probably shouldn't have extraneous colours.
That said, it could be argued that being an artifact creature is a WUB mechanic that warrants blue in the mana cost. I guess that's not wrong.
To be fair, most multicolored sets have cards that are multicolored simply for the sake of the flavor and context of the set they were designed in. I made a card that flavorfully could only be in one set in magics history, and within that set Filigree Dragon would be a multicolored card. Even without the sets gimmick, it still would of likely been blue or otherwise artifact colored influence based on the ties to Esper mixing with Jund.
Just a clarification about my card, as it has been asked:
Shelled Eidolon2U
Enchantment Creature — Spirit (U)
Bestow 3UU(If you cast this card for its bestow cost, it’s an Aura spell with enchant creature. It becomes a creature again if it’s not attached to a creature.)
Hexproof
Enchanted creature gets +2/+2 and has hexproof.
2/2
Yes, it does. Check this from the Comprehensive Rules:
Quote from CR DTK Edition »
702.11b “Hexproof” on a permanent means “This permanent can’t be the target of spells or abilities your opponents control.”
It doesn't care what the card types are, just that it's a permanent. And a bestowed Aura is still a permanent, so it retains its own hexproof.

1- Are we are allowed to have evergreen keywords on our cards? Assuming of course the card also includes a non-evergreen keyword. The way the challenge is worded I assume the answer to this is yes, but I just want to make sure.
2- Isn't fight an evergreen keyword? I don't see it in your list.
Thanks in advance, and sorry if these are stupid questions.

1. Yes, as long as another keyword is present on your card, there is no restriction on using evergreens.
2. Good catch! Looking closer into it, fight would make the cut as evergreen. Since it didn't make it onto the original list I think any cards that use only fight as their non-evergreen shouldn't be DQ'ed though (especially any posts from before Flatline's not-at-all-stupid questions ).
@Piar...I am wondering how you are scoring the CCL this month. From what I can gather, some organizers use the percentage of possible points system laid out in the CCL rules, whereas others just use a straight points system. I am asking because I only had 3 people submit crits for me in round two, and two of the people that didn't are in the pool to judge my card this time, so I assume I will get at most 4 crits this time. Is this lack of follow through by the people that are supposed to judge my card going to negatively impact my score? Sorry if this is dumb question, but this is my first CCL and I am bit confused by how the system works.

Don't worry Flatline, it's an excellent question! As it's my first time hosting the CCL I'm not sure what the practice is in this regard, but I'm consulting with more established hosts to find a precedent. I'll inform everyone about how final scoring was determined when scores are posted.
Note: the deadline is missing in the OP, I don't know if this is intentional.
I wanted to get the thread up as expeditiously as possible and hadn't yet figured out what deadlines would be. They've been edited into the Round 4 thread. (Submission by 4/25, Critique by 4/28)
I find it quite hilarious that it's the third month in a row that I'm eliminated in round 4 (not counting when I was host)! I made it to the finals in November, but now it seems I can't get past the first elimination round! Oh well, I'll try again next month! Good luck to all the rest of you still competing!

@Piar...Does the black card I have posted count as "completely" negating my round 2 card? It doesn't prevent its tap ability so I'm guessing the answer is no. I assume countering my round 2 card would count though right? Here's all the cards I'm talking about for reference....
Quickstep Mage
Creature - Human Wizard (R)
Hexproof
When Quickstep Mage enters the battlefield, tap target creature that blocked this turn. It doesn't untap during its controller's next untap step.
Whenever Quickstep Mage becomes blocked by creature, exile Quickstep Mage, then return it to the battlefield under its owner's control.
3/2
So I'm not sure if this card counts as "completely neutralizing" my round 2 card since it doesn't stop its tap ability....
Dead on Arrival
Instant (U)
Target player sacrifices the next creature that enters the battlefield under his or her control this turn. "Poor guy never stood a chance."
....If not I offer this instead...
Expulse
Instant (U)
Counter target creature spell. If that spell is countered this way, that spell's controller returns all creatures he or she controls that share a name with that spell to his or her hand.
Edit: I'm just going to go with the counter spell since it "completely neutralizes" my card. Seems safer.

Wow! I feel like a DQ is totally out of left field here. I feel like of the four cards you were judging, mine is actually the closest thing to a removal spell. Of the following cards, which would most be considered removal? Goryo's Vengeance (reanimation), Cloudshift (blink), Birthing Pod (creature tutoring), or Echoing Truth (removal)? I'm thinking Echoing Truth. I'm not saying the other cards should be DQed, they all seem like clever ways to deal with their respective round 2 entries, but I don't think mine should be DQed either. I'd actually like to hear Piar's ruling on the matter. I'm perfectly willing to admit that my card may not be the most reliable way in the world to remove my creature once it hit the battlefield, but it can do it. Another issue I have is the term "completely neutralizes". If my card hits the battlefield, its tap ability happens, which means the card was not completely neutralized. I figured a counterspell that also could remove the creature was a good way around this. Maybe I took "completely neutralizes" incorrectly? Anyway, what say you Piar? Does my card deserve a DQ?
If any of the entries didn't meet my challenge criteria I would have asked for the entry to be revised or DQ'd the entry upon the submission deadline. That being said, the CCL is about players applying their own judging criteria to the cards they're presented with. I can't make IcariiFA change his mind or present any arguments here. I do ask that any further conversation about the matter be directed to the CCL discussion thread.
Thanks for the quick response Piar. I know IcariiFA has a right to his own opinion, and there is no way to make him change his crits, all I wanted to hear was that my card met the challenge in the eyes of the organizer, which it sounds like it does. Sorry for posting in the competition thread instead of the discussion thread. My bad.

"Brotherhood of Ormos" - Blog post with all info - set thread - design skeleton / card list || "Extinctia: Homo Evanuit" - Blog post with all info - set thread - card list spreadsheet
• "The Lion's Lair", my article series about MTG and custom card design in particular. Latest article here. Here is the article index. Rather outdated by now, and based on the old MCC rubric, but I'm leaving this here for anybody that might be interested anyway.
• My only public attempt at being a writer: the story of my Leonin custom planeswalker Jeff Lionheart. (I have a very big one that I'm working on right now but that's private for now, and I don't know if I will ever actually publish it, and I also have ideas for multiple future ones, including one where I'm going to reprise Jeff.)
2. Good catch! Looking closer into it, fight would make the cut as evergreen. Since it didn't make it onto the original list I think any cards that use only fight as their non-evergreen shouldn't be DQ'ed though (especially any posts from before Flatline's not-at-all-stupid questions ).
Both Ninja Caterpie and doomfish each got five votes. It's a tie. Congrats to you both.

Does this count itself? I mean, will you gain six life when you cast it?
No. It would need to be resolved on the battlefield for it to trigger off of a casting.
Edit: I'm just going to go with the counter spell since it "completely neutralizes" my card. Seems safer.
It's all good Piar. Don't worry about it.
My bad.
