Reasonable judgins on my card, I agree with the ult and the black bit. Hybrid is hard. However, if I'd worded the morph cost as a triggered ability to put loyalty counters on him, wouldn't he be put into the graveyard by SBAs before that trigger could resolve?
Quality — "...or to activate an ability of a creature..."
My wording was correct. Smokebraider, Vedalken Engineer, and Primal Beyond all say that the kind of entity you're restricted to spending the mana on needs to be plural because you could spend some of the mana on one ability and the rest on another.
Double checked wording for abilities with "Spend this mana only" and you are correct. Your .25 point has been restored.

augh I just remembered, I was brainstorming cards earlier today but didn't come up with anything I was happy enough to submit then
Honestly I miss so many deadlines to these things by an hour or two, I should probably just not even enter, all I do is sometimes knock out someone in an earlier round for no reason (and let's face it, I have almost no chance of winning, it's been a long time since I came up with a decent design)
You could trade in your player hat for a judge's fez? It seems like they always need more j-zeezys. Related: I'm considering trying to judge next month.
I figured since you could play lands from any graveyard the card would be naturally better in a format with multiple players, the most common multiplayer format being EDH.
I do understand it isn't the same as "Look how this card gets better with the more mana you spend!?!" but those designs feel terribly bloated and clunky by pandering to a format without being that good outside of it. (IMO of course)
@admirableadmiral: I have to agree with Freyleyes on this one (and I'm not just backing up another Judge here). Your card uses the "for as long as" clause, but it also has an EtB clause, which none of the cards you cited have. Do you know what card has both? Aegis Angel (among others). And Aegis Angel's wording backs up Freyleyes here.

Yo what, I didn't even see the Mythic thing? I seriously thought it said "rare or mythic rare." Ok that's a pretty lame reason for a DQ IMO, but I guess my score wouldn't have pushed me into the top 2 anyway, soooo... Whoops! That's on me.

Since unfortunately I am not am not as loving as Antny223, I would have deducted -4 for missing it, but then you dont get a fair judging and you still drop out, but at the very least there is next month(if the zombie apocalypse don't come)

So I'm going to highlight the structure of the wording now.

The green section is the duration and the blue section is the effect. One thing to notice is that the blue section has a comma in it. I'm pretty sure that that comma is the differentiating factor here. Let's look at Aegis Angel and Giant Oyster, which both have similar kinds of effects.
For as long as Giant Oyster remains tapped, target tapped creature doesn't untap during its controller's untap step, and at the beginning of each of your draw steps, put a -1/-1 counter on that creature. When Giant Oyster leaves the battlefield or becomes untapped, remove all -1/-1 counters from the creature.
When Aegis Angel enters the battlefield, another target permanent gains indestructible for as long as you control Aegis Angel.
As you can see, Oyster also has an effect that's got a comma in it, and also has a one-shot effect. Aegis Angel's effect isn't divided by a comma. Finally, if that doesn't convince you, here's the two versions of the wording.

@admirableadmiral: Ninety-five cards use the exact phrase "for as long as" in Rules or Reminder Text, and the ones that allow you to steal a creature (Helm of Possession, Hivis of the Scale, Merieke Ri Berit, Olivia Voldaren, others) do not follow the phrasing order you submitted. They follow an order of [Trigger/Activation], [Effect], then [Condition]. It's a lot easier to read that way. It's not about a comma.
But if you want a perfect example of how your ability's phrasing should have looked, then just check the errata'd text for Old Man of the Sea:
: Gain control of target creature with power less than or equal to Old Man of the Sea's power for as long as Old Man of the Sea remains tapped and that creature's power remains less than or equal to Old Man of the Sea's power.
Odds are good no one here will ever work as a designer for WotC, and this is just a forum game, but, unlike most other forum games, quality of submissions matter here. This is Intro to MtG Design 001, and the Judges hand out grades that aren't just Pass/Fail. I see the MCC as a teaching tool to help players improve their Design skills. Heck, I've improved mine from being a Judge so often and having to research cards with similar abilities and phrases. Do I make mistakes? Yes. Sometimes I search the wrong phrase, like when I reviewed your card for Round 4 of last month. You made your case, I double-checked, and adjusted your score. In this instance, though, your submitted templating was incorrect.

You're probably right, but I just realized something.
Whenever an ability references X, the text "where X is..." is always at the end of that ability. A quick gatherer search reveals that much.
Effects with a specific duration are generally worded in the order "[effect], [duration]", so an "Until end of turn" or "for as long as you control" clause would usually be at the end of the sentence (Giant Growth). However, when an X defining effect is in an ability that also has a specific duration, the X defining effect is placed at the end of the ability and the ability is worded "[duration], [effect], where X is..." (Elvish Branchbender). Unless there's something I'm missing, when an ability has a duration defining effect and an X defining effect, the duration defining effect would be placed at the start of the ability and the X defining portion would be at the end.
The reason why there aren't any cards that back up my wording specifically is that there aren't any "For as long as" effects that also have to define an X.

Hyrbrid, Zero loyalty planeswalkers was about the toughest round 1 challenge I've seen for a while. Congrats those who went through.
