Speaking of Easter, does anyone else think that the first Sunday after the first Full Moon after the Sporing Equinox is a pretty pagan way of determining Christianity's holiest day? ;3
I guess if I were feeling generous I'd point out that the calendar at that time was a lunar one, not a solar one. I'm not though, and feel like pointing out that many of Christianity's holy days are placed on or near pagan holy days and that many Christian saints are reimaginings of pagan gods.

I actually saw him online last night looking at the Round 4 page (I was getting a little antsy and ended up looking at his profile to see if judgings were coming :tongue:). I'm not sure if anything will come of it, but just putting that out there.

I have a question I can't keep myself from asking. In your signature, why do you state the saying on you signature isn't a japanese one in japanese? Japanese people would know if it was japanese or not, and others wouldn't be able to read the statement below, except for some exceptions.

I translate Japanese for a living (not in Japan any more) and also enjoy so it works pretty well.
On my card: I was going for a similarity to Sarkhan the Mad - Sarkhan can't gain loyalty counters, my Glissa had difficulty gaining loyalty counters - in an attempt to tell a little more of a story with a planeswalker card.
Unfortunately, I forgot to make the first ability actually fun to use :uhh:.

Congrats dwanyedu. You deserved the win on that round for sure.
For me: I honestly couldn't think of a better flavorful, artifact-related 0 or -X ability for Slobad that wasn't overpowered or way too narrow, but I loved the other two abilities so much together that I ran with it anyway. I think some of its uses were missed though in the judging.

I actually think that it's a very dangerous design, especially in eternal formats. Turn 1 Chrome Mox/Mox Diamond and +1 this guy makes your opponent very hard to catch up with.
