Looks like I didn't survive my second encounter with you Rithanel, sadly.
Just as a matter-of-fact, pertaining to your question about the second ability : I wanted to build upon the incorruptible theme of my creature, and card draw from an opponent felt like the equivalent of a bribe. I wanted to create this idea of a legend that would never be compromised by phyrexian influence, even if it is card advantage.
Oh well, Team Segovia now rests solely on your shoulders Meggido

Can we have Megiddo removed from the forum forever please?
i'm pretty sure i can find your ***** online within 3 minutes
I expect with this [Transform] mechanic that everyone playing a Werewolf tribal deck will say "Autobots, rollout!" whenever the majority of their army transforms.
@Rithaniel: I did actually have flavor text, but decided the card was too overcrowded and cut it out. Also, I purposely went against the CMC challenge and upped the cost by 1 when I realized triggering any exalted creature attacking turn 4 with this on can be really devastating.
Don't take this in any way to be going against your judgings, just thought you might like to know why I made the choices I did. Also, I should have linked to my round 1 - my take on Phyrexia here is "Phyrexia recycles your dead stuff and turns it against you".
Regarding Mundus' card, I vaguely recall Maralen being a sort of Fae sleeper agent or something...
Well, why didn't you backspace the reminder text? It's a mythic, so, you know, you can do that and maybe get some room for flavor text. Also, I didn't actually measure the text out on a card frame, but, you know you can get up to 8 lines of text and still not be microtexting, right? Just look at Coalition Relic.
I had to do a ton of research for my Lorwyn/Shadowmoor cards, and technically I guess she is part Faerie. She's an avatar of sorts of Oona, who created Maralen. She meant for Maralen to work for her, as her, but as a sort of spy, but her plan failed because Maralen eventually gained a concience of her own, and realized she was just a puppet and so she along with Calfenor and Ashling killed Oona and stopped her shenanigans with the Great Aurora and all that.
She is part of Oona. She more or less is Oona, just in the body of an Elf that was thought to have died.
Okay, you learn something new each day. Although, even if she was Oona in elf form, that still means she's an elf. To be a faerie is to be a tiny person with dragonfly wings (and insect legs... on Lorwyn (or Evermore, I think it was renamed at the end of the story arc)). To be an elf is to be a tall, elegant person with pointy ears (and hooves and horns... on Lorwyn (though, really, they could have been Satyr's)). It doesn't matter if you are a reincarnated faerie in elf form, an elf made by a faerie, or an elf being mind controlled by a faerie, you are still an elf. Not until you physically start changing into a faerie can be called an elf-faerie.
I like how you thought this through, though. Creative.

Sorry man, the card just had too many minor flaws. Sort of a 'death by a thousand pin-pricks' if you can get that.
As for your intention, good goal, though I didn't get that until you explained it. I like your take on Sergovia, though, and I'm sad that I had to put down the only legend I judged that wasn't Phyrexia aligned.
Anywho, Urabrask's rebellion against Phyrexia as they tell him to abandon Rath is not going smoothly:

I know shes an elf still at the end of the day, but what I wanted to show was what the Phyrexian Oil could do to someone with all that power and essence within them. She was an elf, but she had Oona, the (previous) Queen of the Fae, within her. She was her Avatar. The oil, being exposed to her, even being treated as a "Great Nectar" (drinking it even??), basically pulled that out to the surface for the most power possible, transforming her, giving her both Elf-like and Faerie-like qualities.
This was my little story I thought up while making this card and my previous one. I meant for it to be noticed.:D

My judgings are done. Feel free to point out any math screw-ups or clear factual errors, but please keep differences of opinions to yourself. Unless they are of the "cordial discussion" variety. Those are cool.
I looked at my bracket, and noticed that Azhur and Hankroyd both failed to submit legendary cards, meaning that WhisperedThunder and Twilight Kiwi each get a free pass.
ugh I made so many mistakes, it's a miracle I passed. Not only the glaring wording mistakes, but I also misunderstood the challenge and thought that I had to create a new mechanic. Not to mention I meant "Wind" not "wing", to make a dark parallel to Higure, the Still Wind.
The one thing I'll defend is the use of Ink counters. I know that +1/-1 counters are a no-no, but ink counters have more effects attached to them and obviously in that imaginary set, no cards would put either +1/+1 or -1/-1 counters to avoid complex maths.
The flavor is that Kamigawa, a plane with very little metal in it is of no interest to phyrexians and they only want to use it as a stepping stone to invade a better plane, so they focus in corrupting as many beings as possible, hoping to find one with a planeswalker spark. Mechanically that means that phyrexians are not so interested in the opponent's life (nor poison) total but in taking control of all of his or her resources. That's why corrupt replaces infect and genjutsu -an ability that relies on blocking, not on attacking- replaces ninjutsu.
I'm calling it right now- worst rare in the set. Even good limited players will find better bombs at common and uncommon no sweat. Worst. Episode. Ever.
I really do predict this to be our worst rare in set award winner. I'd be happier opening a jar of eyeballs, so I think anything worse is highly unlikely. This card wont just have zero constructed potential, but not be significantly better than a mass of ghouls in a draft.

So for the Bonus Challenge 1 (Land does not enter battlefield tapped), would I get docked for something like Ancient Amphitheater or Blackcleave Cliffs?

Yes. Potentially entering the battlefield tapped based on a condition will not earn the bonus challenge point.

The Golden Rule of forums: If you're going to be rude, be right. If you might be wrong, be polite.
Regarding the Bonus Challenge stating that it has to have a non-mana ability.
Can I still add a mana ability AND a non-mana ability and not get shafted?

Based on its wording, I'm assuming yes. Though, just as a general tip, try not to make your card too clumped up with different abilities. Im sure the judges dont want Morphling in land form.

I notice each judge only has one pairing assigned. Shouldn't there be two pairings per judge?

I'm advocating keeping it as-is though, as I've got completed judgings.
This feels a little silly, but it was fun to write.
As always, contestants should feel free to PM me regarding their cards.
