Clear and functional and gives a particular twist to white's ETBT ability. I like it.
Subject16 - Master Detective
Sherlock Holmes in SOI. If we are to follwo through on the archetype however, I'm unsure why the card has flash other than functionality. That said, it doesn't really stick out to me on a card. It's one of those things you only really know whether they feel right or not when you play them. The flavor text punnery is amazing.
Eventide Sojourner - Yennett's Dissent
I think this should be an uncommon. Also I'm unsure if it really needs to be Esper or not. It's a very clear functionality but I have to say it won't win simply because of the competition you're facing here.
Forestsguy - Glyphwing
Very wholesome Melvin card - infact the Melvin here is off the charts. I feel like you made an intentional nudge towards the challenge too, with the six words, cmc 6, scry 6, 6 power and 6 toughness. It's too good of a rate for an uncommon, however, and while flavorful and clear and competent, it doesn't match some of the other entries. You came in third in the challenge however.
void_nothing - Highlord of Retaliation
This is really cool, but WotC have said that these kinds of mixed hybrid mana costs confuse newer players, and on top of that you have the untap symbol that so many people misread. As such I can't have it win.
graffd02 - Group Degradation
This hits artifacts and enchantments. I'm not sure it's in color as such. And even if it was, I don't think it archieves as much as some of the other designs.

IIW: Noncreature, Nonplainswalkers in the command zone
Mergatroid_Jones: Grendel from Beowulf! An excellent choice, but it's a shame there's no reference to his eating of humans, but I'm a big fan of the havoc he causes when he attacks. The arm is a very cool artifact, and the loss of abilities from your opponent's creatures to me feels like seeing Grendel's torn arm scares them out of their own abilities.
Forestsguy: Damsel in Distress trope that we can attribute to a LOT of characters throughout history which is great. It's also a good push towards how we can get card advantage in white. I do wish this could maybe focus on creatures (possibly planeswalkers) rather than any legendary card, because getting a Paradox Engine with this creature isn't very flavorful.
void_nothing: Man this card has flavor to it. Obviously Ulysses/Odysseus (good name combining by the way) and Theros go hand in hand, and the potential to be unblockable and the card draw saboteur both help give it an "explorer/adventurer" feeling. The shuffling in ability makes me think of how he and his fleet were washed away and he was shipwrecked which was great. As a commander this can make him very annoying as a consistent way to wipe a board if enough anthems or equipment are on the table, but that would require some specific deckbuilding which I'm okay with.
kwanyeegor: Another trope rather than a specific character (not that I mind). Big wording issue here as when it copies an opponent's creature it loses the "you lose half your life" effect. Nevertheless this is a really interesting design that isn't actually that overpowered - most cheap clones are great because you can double up on your own creatures/abilities for a premium, but this card relies on your opponent's deck very heavily. Losing half your life total is a very steep cost though, though I don't know what other alternative there could be.
graffd20: Very good way to do Sherlock Holmes (although I made my last round's design like that too). Investigate is a perfect way to showcase his character as a detective, but counting the number of cards that changed zones can be very difficult, especially considering it's counting cards that you draw, that are milled, that you play from your hand etc. This can generate a hell of a lot of clues.
Winner here is void_nothing, with an HM to kwanyeegor.

Mergatroid_Jones: Grendel from Beowulf! An excellent choice, but it's a shame there's no reference to his eating of humans, but I'm a big fan of the havoc he causes when he attacks. kwanyeegor: Another trope rather than a specific character (not that I mind). Big wording issue here as when it copies an opponent's creature it loses the "you lose half your life" effect. graffd20: Very good way to do Sherlock Holmes (although I made my last round's design like that too). Investigate is a perfect way to showcase his character as a detective, but counting the number of cards that changed zones can be very difficult, especially considering it's counting cards that you draw, that are milled, that you play from your hand etc. This can generate a hell of a lot of clues.

The One 3U
Enchantment - Aura M
Enchant creature
At the beginning of your upkeep, create a 1/1 blue Illusion creature token.
Each creature you control is a copy of enchanted creature.
Next: A card costing WUBRGC
Mergatroid_Jones - Autoinclude in certain EDH decks of course. Very splashy, feels therefore like it could be mythic, and I just love enchantress and Voltron so big appeal points for me. Not sure who this Xorg is but the name ref makes it feel more legendary.
Subject16 - Very flavorful and has a good reason to be a Fortification, but also pretty wordy and underpowered imo.
Sephon19 - This card does "work", and is suitable for mythic, but I'm concerned it might be too efficient compared to similar cards.
HM: Sephon19
Winner: Mergatroid_Jones
