Overload Spell RR
Instant (R)
Choose one -
-Copy target instant or sorcery spell you control. You may choose new targets for the copy.
-Counter target instant or sorcery you control. Overload Spell deals damage to each creature and player equal to that spell's converted mana cost. To the Izzet, an experiment violently exploding is not always a sign of failure.
IIW: a new Split card, where one half is the exact same "card" as an already existing split card half, and the other is new. Order the halves as you wish - for example, if you pick "Fire" from Fire/Ice, it's ok for it to be on the right. Add or remove Fuse as you please.
I like how this card works, but I'm worried that sacrificing two lands might be a bit much. This could sacrifice one land and be an instant and it could still be very fair.
I like this a lot, it reminds me of Bosh, Iron Golem and it's a nice callback considering it's on the same plane. I don't know whether or not the charge counters are all that useful, but I guess you might as well have it.
This guy looks really fun, but I really doubt that a card like this would ever get printed. The ultimate is fun, but also very steep considering emblems are hard to get in the first place. But it's definitely a whacky entry so I'll give you props for that!
I like it. It's simple and effective. I feel that there's a bit of an issue with the wording (feels like there should be two sentences there), and the flavour text feels a little on the nose too. Very balanced card for sure!
I really like this design. It's a very build-around me card, but it also widens up the design space in the color combination that really needs it the most. A 1/2 stat for 3 cmc is a bit low for rare (see Hero of Iroas), so I might bump it to a 2/2 and possibly give it first strike (considering the javelin and all that)
This card seems amazingly fun! Having drafted around in Unstable I know well the struggles of throwing cards, so that first ability is definitely useful to not cause shenanigans. I would worry that being able to convert a card into a potential kill spell/boardwipe every turn might be a bit strong, so I would recommend adding a mana cost to that ability. 2 or 3 mana should be fine. Otherwise I really enjoy this card!
I'm intrigued by this card, but I can't help but feel it's in the wrong colors. Although this isn't land destruction, caring about lands being destroyed or going to the graveyard is more or a green or red effect, and removing noncreature permanents is very green and very much not black (in fact artifact/enchantment removal in black is very poor and always has been.) I'm not sure how I would make changes to have this fit the color pie more, but it has a lot of potential for sure.
I really like the design here. It has some really interesting interactions with the stack and I love those kinds of effects. I feel like you could change the second ability to just be a single target rather than the whole board though? But that might not be as flavourful with the name.
This is very similar to JTBS's entry, but with a few twists. Not having a target makes this interesting (and it might be possible that it can exile itself? I'm not sure if that's possible on resolution). I can imagine casting a Blasphemous Act and all my opponents making use of their sacrifice engines while they can, and then drop this spell and burn them as well. However it's at a complexity level that forces it at rare, but the effect feels like it needs a little extra kick to it, like a cantrip or something.

It always bothered me that Reach guys dont have vigilance. specially Reach Fat Fatties.
They are so big fat yet reach is useless because either they are not reaching because they are attacking, or they are glorified bad walls and Pacifisms because they want to reach. 8/8 MuscleBeastBro with reach? Either it attacks and cannot reach or stays back and loses use of its ripped abs.

I've always been bugged by the restriction to discard being sorcery speed only, and I love seeing cards that break that rule (see Necrogen Spellbomb as an example). It's dangerous if it's a repeatable effect, but for single effects, I would rather discard be bumped up with instant speed utility than have them be dead draws to hellbent opponents as often as they are.
Mind Fracture 3B
Instant (U)
Target opponent reveals their hand and splits those cards into two piles. Choose a pile. That player discards those cards.
IIW: a new Split card, where one half is the exact same "card" as an already existing split card half, and the other is new. Order the halves as you wish - for example, if you pick "Fire" from Fire/Ice, it's ok for it to be on the right. Add or remove Fuse or Aftermath as you please.
I've always disliked the color identify rule for Commander deck building. I know that's pretty relevant to the format so rather than do away with the rule I would just like to see maybe a cycle of single color creatures that exempt themselves from that rule. Examples:
Grand Vizier of Chaos 3RR
Legendary Creature - Demon Spirit (MR)
If Grand Vizier of Chaos is your Commander, your deck may include cards of any color identity.
Trample, Haste
When Grand Vizier of Chaos enters the battlefield, you may put a creature card from your hand into the battlefield. That creature gains haste. Sacrifice it at the beginning of your next end step or if it would leave the battlefield.
5/3
Duriel, Lord of Pain 2BB
Legendary creature - Demon Insect (MR)
If Duriel, Lord of Pain is your Commander, your deck may include cards of any color identity.
Flying, First Strike, Death touch
Duriel, Lord of Pain gets +1/+1 for each different creature type among creature cards in your graveyard.
2/2
IIW: a multicolor cycle of "hunted" creatures from Ravnica
Almost any kind of effect you can think off occurs more or less in more than one color. Countermagic is the exception to this rule apart from.some odd ones (Unyaro Griffin, Molten Influence, Dash Hope, etc) and other adventures, being Mana Tithe or Lapse or certainty the most we got in countermagic outside of blue, and tjey have never come in enough numbers to be relevant.

Shapers of Strength 3GG
Creature - Elf Shaman
As an additional cost to cast creature spells you cast, pay X. That creature enters the battlefield with X additional +1/+1 counters. 1: Target creature with a +1/+1 counter on it gains your choice of trample, vigilance, or reach until end of turn.
3/4
Mergatroid_Jones - I'm right there with you, haunt feels like it should affect a creature while it's living, not just when it dies. My only critique is that I would have liked to see a clearly Orzhov example.
Forestsguy - I hadn't ever considered this until you brought it up. I like the "Creatures you control with reach can block creatures with flying even if they are tapped." (I would probably phrase it "... flying as though they weren't tapped" to be more in line with similar effects) as that lets them take advantage of their reach without just being better at blocking everything.
JaceTheBodySculptor - I don't mind an occasional instant discard spell/ability, but Mind Fracture is a poor example, or at the very least would be rare if not mythic. A large part of the repeat-ability you were talking about is rarity in limited environments.
FuneralofGod - I could see this happening... but why two demons? are all 5 going to be demons? I'm also unsure how helpful this would be to your issue, as you cant now build 5 color decks with the same commanders you used to, and now 5 more... I think I would prefer running Jodah for my 5 color deck unless I was building something around these guy's specific mechanics.
Hemlock - I'm not a fan of non-blue counters, but I guess I kind of asked for this so: Narcotic Polen - doesn't feel at all connected to green, feels more white; Angelic Intervention - too strong, probably needs to cost at least 3 mana (probably 1WW); Karma Blast - would change name to karmic blast, but this is probably fine; Unforgotten Sins - This feels white, not black, but would probably be fine with that change; Fend from Beyond - why not just "Exile target spell that was cast from a graveyard."?; Backfire - This doesn't feel like a spell backfired, it feels like you turned the spell into fire, and it still hit you. which is an interesting balancing factor, and now that I think on it how a red coutnerspell should work with the lack of forethought; Awaiting Accident - I guess...
chetoos - Chorus of the Conclave has the wording you're looking for, and also makes me think this effect might need to cost more.
Winner: Mergatroid_Jones
HM: Hemlock mostly for Backfire making me feel like a red counterspell might actually make some sense.
