IIW: mana symbols matter

No card renders for yall, I'm way too lazy to look for art.

Legend: Oooh neat design. I would definitely bump this up to 2 mana, though that's less of a problem in commander.
Cardz: Interesting effect, I like the incentive for devotion "balance", but I don't think it belongs on a 5 mana mythic incarnation. I'd expect it on a 4 mana smaller rare.
Stille_Nacht: I'd have used experience counters for this; as is, it'd be way too easy to invalidate with random enchantment or graveyard hate. It's a hard and interesting enough challenge with non-token sacrifice, no need for it to be so vulnerable to hate.
willows: Return to HAND would have been reasonable (even at 3 mana mb). Return to battlefield is freaking ridiculous.
JamBlock: Weird! A great commander for BW go wide, protects against red's wraths super well (anger of the gods a board of 3 tokens and 2 normal creatures, drain each opponent for 9 and gain 6 tokens). Actually now that I type that out, should probably just be target opponent.

Winner: JamBlock, Legend close second.

Oh snap, again, okay, judging time.

Phyrexian Editor: Without knowing how many mana symbols are in the art of the card, I can't assess this. But I like it.
ManyCookies: You can really get screwed over by playing this, and I don't know if the risk is necessarily worth it. That CAN be one heck of a scry and draw late-game, and get you all your combo pieces, but I don't like that any time OTHER than late game, it feels like more trouble than it's worth.
Cardz: I like this a lot. This is the kind of innovating new mechanics while using old mechanics that I go for. Simple and elegant.
Amuzet: A deck that wants this is probably going to give it a lot of power or a lot of toughness, but not both. And given that it probably won't be both, it's probably gonna be power. That's fine, but it could be a little underwhelming. I might be way off, but that's just my perception of it.
Rocco: I love custom cards that interact with the existence of generic mana symbols, and this is no exception. My one comment is that I believe tokens would count for this, and that's dangerous. Might want to throw a nontoken clause in there.
willows: Now this packs quite a punch. It can do a whole lot of damage to a non-artifact-deck user, but it's so swingy. That said, it's swingy in a way where it's theoretically stronger if you're doing worse, so that's good.

That's my bad. My brain skipped right over the "may." Don't think it would have made you win, but I definitely think it is a MUCH better card now that I've actually read it right.

variable battle cry is an interesting concept, but as you kept it identical to its current value, I just dropped the '1' for now. granting populate to Sorcery spells works fine, but its weird on enchantments (an enchantment would read "When ~ ETB populate", it would probably just be cleaner to say "Whenever you cast a sorcery or enchantment spell, populate."
Formatting aside, Gaihla could probably give Trostani a run for her money as a commander providing both more damage and more abusable, but a little less reliable populate ability.

Changelings make this card hilarious, and broken. Even without changleings, this card needs to have a specification that it must be cast before the declare blockers step, otherwise this resolving will end then game 9 times out of 10, but I guess that is what you typically want out of an 8 cost instant, but green doesn't typically go about granting evasion in this way.

Overruns sneakier cousin

I'm not a fan of this theme, I don't get why this buffs Thopter Assembly or Mirko Vosk but not Cliffrunner Behemoth or Deathmist Raptor.

I get what you're trying to do here, and it would need a lot of work to figure out how to template this in a way that cleanly fits in a text box, but I'm just not really a fan.

Naya Angel! sort of... I'm not sure this needs to be limited to green creatures, but overall some cool commander bate.

and with a little work on the card I think the HM goes to Legend
