IIW: Goats, goats, goats

Forestsguy: Worm Host is an ok uncommon creature, and the idea of a giant mass of wurms constantly shedding them seems cool. At 7 mana, even at uncommon, I feel that it should be doing more, and it seems like a reasonable card, but just not that exciting or scary. Barney-the-Purple-Dinosaur/10.

Necarg: Arixmethes certainly is big, and should be costing 10 mana. Having trample is nice to, meaning that just having a 1/1 to snack on doesn't stop it. But given that it costs so much mana, and its ability costs even more, I'm having trouble getting excited by it. I think that Kozilek is a good standard for expensive creatures to be compared against, and to me even with pseudo-survivability this doesn't really do enough for me to really like it. Plus, I don't really get the flavor of 'the Serpent City'. Dracula-before-his-morning-coffee/10

Shinen: Iseal isn't the biggest creature in this contest, but it sure is scary. It eats a land a player turn, is aggresively costed, and can potentially tap out a players board on key turns. I feel it is a bit too agressively costed for what it does, but even if dialed back to CMC 7 or 8 it would still be quite threatening (I think 7 is the sweet spot). Barney-on-Steroids-and-Bathsalts/10.

Forgot to clarify, Arixmethes is a giant lizard in Theros that Kiora notes is larger than Kozilek (Thus a 13/13). Kiora tries to bring it to Zendikar to stop the Eldrazi, but Thassa stops her and ends up losing her bident.

iiw weenies

Necarg-A pretty fun design. When we knew miracle was coming, I was really hoping to see designs like this-very powerful cards that could only be cast as a miracle. I think the power level is pretty right on the money, though I might have pushed it a bit higher (4/1, maybe?). 8.5/10

scarbo-Not exactly following the challenge, and a bit too complex for a common. An extra point or so for trying a common, though-in my experience, people are afraid to design commons for these sorts of games, and this one looks good. 6.5/10

willows-I like the new mechanic, and it does feel like it would fit right at home on Ravnica for the Boros. Resonating on bot flavor and mechanics is nice. 9/10

SelsnyaNewLife-I like the thought here a lot, but I don't think this design is quite right templating-wise. Or timing wise period-looking at the top of your library, when you're allowed to do so, is an all the time thing; makes handling this trigger hard. 5/10
