With no flavor text to shamelesly google, I was quite puzzled as to what this card is a reference to. "Beloved Dead" sounded vaguely Robert-Frost-like, so I searched the archives and found precisely nothing. Then I realised that this is a late entry to last challenge.
Also, you know, sacrificing stuff as a cost is a thing. This little zombie recurs infinitely. Winterspring
Destructive Envy is a nice addition to an already enormous library of Big Red Random Spells, and is a cool - not good, but cool - combo with Gargadon. I like the flavour text, but it feels a bit out of its color pie slice - envy is black, as it stems from egoism.
Transistor was quite enjoyable, and yet the atmosphere and setting it features are just about impossible to convert to MtG. Royce here looks like a flawless design from the point of one unfamiliar with the original, but alas, I can't really say it captures the character well enough; furthermore, the quote is certainly memorable, but has little to do with the card.
Embersteel Paladin fits beautifully with the Bards' quote, and makes me wish Wizards printed more cards that follow the same top-down flavor. Simplicity rounds out the card, as other keywords would overburden it.
Jet Stream is not my favorite, at least I can certainly say it lags from the other designs you posted. Not untapping is ice territory, and Jace here seems to don the mask of his uncharacteristic arrogance. This is his flanderized version, and I'm not the biggest fan of the whole "as you only learned to stand upright" thing.
Pact is opressive in all the worst ways, it makes the game less fun for both players. Nice quote, though. Necarg
Double froms sounds so awkward, like a bad translation of obscure anime. In general, the card featuring only the second ability would be much subtler, but the first line kind of destroys it. Ink-Treader
It's ye olde vampir english! Wouldn't personally attribute such words to a bloodsucker, it fits a blood knight type of personality better - I live only to draw blood, the usual story. In general design seems like it goes to ways - either this is [BBB/ upkeep BB, sacrifice a permanent/ You can't lose] deal, or somebody finds the most obvious two-card combo in the world. Both variants lead to a very unexiting type of gameplay. This honestly feels like a 1998 design, which is not necessary bad. scarbo
Oh, just beautiful! Declaration of Naught always appealed to me, and this is an even prettier version. I don't really know how to describe those designs which feel clean and simple even if they shouldn't. Flavour text is not spectacular, but rounds up the card nicely. admirableadmiral
First card is eeeeh. A common trope among Magic cards is a tiny helper or assistant which you sacrififce later on to draw power from it. I feel it's a bit overdone. Flavor text makes sence, but I can't imagine a real guy saying such a simple sentiment in a roundabout way like that.
Spooky guy is spooky, but I really wish you made it a zombie, because the "whole remove the head or destroy the brain" deal corresponds nicely to this mechanic. Viscera Seer here once again puts a simple thought in words really obtusely and unnecessary epic. Not seeing the rest of the card, I'd take she is talking about Universal Evil or something, not literally about an undead guy.
Counterspell is a nice design, A+. For some reason the quote sounds straight out of Time Spiral block. SelesnyaNewLife
Somewhere, gently MaRo weeps. Insta-win buttons are as fun as a dredge mirror. Flavour text is the kind of epic the internet grew to despise - a very shallow declaration. Cythare

Club Flamingo Statistics Update — July 2015
Thread Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆. We actually were at ☆☆☆☆ two years ago at this time but thread ratings no longer exist. This thread will always be 5 stars in my heart.
Thread Size: Unsurprisingly, we're still #1 with 59,150 posts. Note that two years ago at this time we had 41,490 posts. That's 17,660 posts in two years.
Thread Views: First, with 2,008,742 views! Crazy. Two years ago we were still at #2 (under the Alphabetical Card Game), but now we have nearly 300,000 views more than that thread.
Posts per Day Lifetime: 34.19, which is down a fair bit from 40.12 two years ago. With the overall lower activity this isn't surprising, of course, but I'm still impressed we have such a count even after the Curse changeover. This is 59,150 posts over 1730 days.
Posts per Day since last update: 24.42, which is (unsurprisingly) a giant drop from when we were last measured at 87.23 posts per day in a single month. This is 17,660 posts in 723 days. I think we can do better.
