Too long a sigh for the double shot of espresso that should've kicked in twenty emails ago—"doppio," the barista called it. She'd forget the name by tomorrow morning. Whatever it was, it was caffeine, and it was running later than the 8:10 to Downtown Yavimaya. Thirty more emails. Christ, when did "team leader" become license to CC someone on every message every pencil pusher in this godforsaken company sends? Whatever, she knew she'd get more work done under this leaky overhang than in her actual office; here she didn't have to deal with sexual passes from career salarymen whose wives stopped fellating their every need ten missed mortgage payments ago. Pervs on the metro, now those she could deal with. Everything's easier when HR doesn't get involved. —Christ. Another thirty emails. Could anyone in the city fill out a job ticket without these incessant ******* mistakes? One managed to get a laugh out of her. It's 10376 A.R., Mr. Handwritten Resume; Urza was figuring out how to open PDFs while your ancestors were conspiring to give you the worst set of marketable skills this side of midtown. Sigh. She reached for a Parliament as the 8:10 decided its personal welfare was less important than the functioning of civilization. As she struck her lighter and reacquainted herself with the only colleague she didn't mind blowing smoke up her ass, the man packed next to her on the metro scowled. Surely, he cared as much about Rubinia's cardiovascular health as her doctor did. "**** you," she would say to both of them in just as many words. Doppio and cigarettes are a combination necessary for the functioning of the only people sane enough to keep society from dribbling over its collective self. These contracts weren't writing themselves. Christ, how did the world get like this?

3/3
IIW: CMC 16 or greater
You know that if it returns transformed, it will be creature-side up, right?
I think I fixed it, but the wording may be off.
Two notes:
-You changed the functionality from "dying" to "leaving the battlefield", so it now happens regardless of the zone it moves to.
-You may still want to remove damage from it, in case there's something that would animate artifacts (in which case damage marked on it would still apply).
iphanx - Here we have quite a dangerous creature, one that I'm fortunate to have only encountered once during my travels. It almost did me in, but I was saved by the curious fact that it wasn't able to summon it's hellspawn from the souls it of the beasts it had consumed to attack me. If it's ability had triggered at a different time, perhaps I would not have seen the next day.
yodude4 - Ramirez was a jolly fellow, one that always had a tale to tell or a song to sing, and was always enjoyable to be around (provided you kept a vigilant eye on your coinpurse). His affinity for black mana left me perplexed, for nothing in his skillset seemed to rely on it. He claimed to have greatly improved his skills over a long career of piracy, yet after seeing him in action I'm convinced it was merely another of his outrageous boasts.
tomsloger - Marrr was a brute of a man, and a man of very few words. To be more precise, he only ever uttered one word, which was simply his own name grunted in repetition. Despite his imposing stature, he was quite easily taken down and depended heavily on others to defend him on combat. As such, he could often be found with drink and without employment, especially due to his considerable hiring fee and his staunch adherence to old tactics.
Spams Ultima - Ah, to reminisce of the labors I undertook back then. To be fully truthful, I actually quite enjoyed my work, but I'm sure there are other, more interesting characters you'd rather I'd reminisce to you about.
avatarz - A strange creature that mimics the tactics of fighters of old. Some say that these toads were once warriors who looked before they leapt and were cursed to leap for all eternity. Whether you believe the tales or not, tread carefully - they can be very adept at removing threats for such commonplace creatures.
admirableadmiral - In my youth I spent many nights drinking heartily in every guildhouse in the land, and this was no exception. Known for its green mead, this place always seemed as though it was built for smaller folk than I, for its halls were quite narrow. Still, a few commanding individuals seemed to find quite a lot of value there.
Cythare, part I - I have fond memories of Epiphany, which was among my favorite types of mead - not so much for it's taste but for it's innate magical properties. In fact, it spawned an infamous drinking game that was an absolute blast to be a part of - you never knew if you were just going to make a shrub appear, or summon an apocalyptic eldritch monstrosity!
Cythare, part II - Oftentimes such crazy activities required some restorative measures in turn. This part was never quite as fun, however.
scarbo - The bane of adventurers everywhere, these creatures were very good at stopping attackers cold and were hard to be rid of due to their dark hearts. While facing one down may sound daunting, keep in mind that they cannot survive without rotting timber to feed of off. I've heard rumors of a slightly tougher variant of this species that can create it's own rot, and I'm told that it's far more fearsome.
mirrorentity - The Kobolds were a proud and noble race, and also very tiny . Their mighty garrisons never really did anything, but it was amusing to watch them be built nonetheless.
selesyanewlife - A mysterious and very powerful relic. Legend says that those who know it's secret can unleash the elegant and flavorful creature that lies within. Legend also says that said creature's wrath is overwhelmingly quick and merciless - I shudder to think what's what happen if a goblin horde on their hand on it.

Criteria:
1) Is it soft
2) Has this previously existed in (R/G)?
3) Is it Gruul
4) Is your definition of Gruul more than "something red and something green"
5) Is it cute
6) Additional notes
iphanx
1) This doesn't feel "soft", although I guess it doesn't involve attacking
2) This is basically Insist + Overmaster dialed up to 11 with a cost reduction thrown in for good measure
3) Technically, these effects are Gruul.
4) This really just feels like a red effect and a green effect stapled together.
5) Eh.
6) See above. If it cost like RG, reduced the next spell and made it uncounterable, it would be exciting. I guess this is good for Storm? Do we want Storm to have this?
Tilwin
1) I guess this could be soft?
2) This is basically Dual Nature sans drawback.
3) I guess. This honestly doesn't feel red. It also doesn't really feel Gruul. They're primalistic, but they're not animals.
4) This is not just "red + green" so this is good.
5) Not sure. Do you like cyclops mating season?
6) This is actually probably fine, but I can't see the justification for the double red here.
Sagharri
1) Sure, I'd consider this soft.
2) The closest thing here is Mana Echoes.
3) It's a green effect in a way that's only been done in red. Sure.
4) I'd say this goes beyond just red + green.
5) It's soft, but I don't think it's cute.
6) I like that it takes something that is now pretty green but has only been done like this in red. I kinda wish it didn't involve sacrificing the card - I'm not sure that there's an issue with just removing the counters, since you're getting one per creature.
net10n
1) Fighting isn't very soft.
2) I guess this is like Triumph of Ferocity?
3) I'd say it feels pretty Gruul.
4) This doesn't feel very stapled.
5) Not cute.
6) Ok, so my actual issue here is that it's actually secretly Phyrexian Arena except instead of losing a life, you get to kill something. You'll always draw the card, because your creature will never die while the ability is resolving.
avatarz
1) Despite "fighting", this is flavored to feel pretty soft.
2) This is like Alpha Brawl meets Gruul Ragebeast.
3) Feels Gruul.
4) This is a large part of the mechanical identity of Gruul, so we're good here.
5) Teddy bears are cute!
6) This is probably somewhat undercosted, since it's likely just to blow out your opponents' stuff. I'd up it to at least 3RG.
Thest Mostest Curiousest Thingest
1) So many things! I guess this is pretty soft.
2) Um, sure? This is a pretty broad ability that I'm sure has some coverage somewhere.
3) The implementation here is definitely RG.
4) Is it more than just red+green? I guess. I'd like to see a bit more variety than just making mana (aside from the rummager).
5) Some of these guys are pretty cute.
6) I like the flexibility of forage, I just feel like most of the implementations shown just make mana, which is less exciting.
yodude4
1) I guess this is pretty soft. You're relaxing.
2) Sure.
3) Probably pretty Gruul.
4) This doesn't feel red + green, but I'm also not sure what's red. I appreciate that you weighted the cost more towards green.
5) I'm not sure how cute this is.
6) I don't actually like having a 6-mana spell that untaps all your lands. It basically makes the rest of it free. The only sorcery that's done this before is Rude Awakening, and that makes sense because the rest of the effect is either nothing or something that makes untapping your lands really relevant. This doesn't do that.
JuanCu
1) This is pretty soft. Nothing softer than the maternal instinct.
2) Um. Not sure, but it feels like it's at least in the right vein.
3) Yeah, this feels pretty Gruul, even if the name isn't really Gruul.
4) This is definitely not a stapling.
5) I guess babies are cute and this is protecting them?
6) This card is actually fine. I feel like it's maybe a bit confusing where players will cast this on the guy they actually want to protect, rather than the one slightly bigger, but that's probably on them to read the card. Feels appropriately costed and rarified.
Chemtrails
1) Is it soft? Not sure. I guess it's playing with spirits and they're pretty soft.
2) It's reminiscent of Cold-Eyed Selkie and its ilk.
3) It feels pretty Gruul.
4) Doesn't actually apply, as this isn't multicolored, which is fine.
5) Yeah, this guy's cute. I like guys that reward you for Voltroning without hitting you over the head with it.
6) I really like this. The bloodrush mode is a nice bonus to set it apart from similar iterations, and it meets the challenge nicely.
