Can we have Megiddo removed from the forum forever please?
i'm pretty sure i can find your ***** online within 3 minutes
Ct: Wellll this is like super venser, except three mana. I really like the design, but I'm pretty sure that this card is overpowered.
It doesn't hit permanents, though. It's probably overpowered, but it's kinda like Vendilion Clique meets Venser. The idea is that Endry doesn't have the foresight to pluck dreams out of your head before you try to do stuff. Anywho:
Vanguard of the WildsGW
Creature - Human Shaman (R)
Each player who has cast a noncreature spell this turn can't cast additional noncreature spells.

Not claiming this is utterly useless in Standard - but I maintain it's pretty bad at regular maindeck inclusion.

netn10: Cute. I don't really have any complaints here, other than that it seems a little ... done before. Tilwin: 1) Lol penetration. 2) Boring. 3) Too blunt. 4) This is cute because it's useless but also broken. The design is bad, though. 5) No please. 6) Cost it U for nostalgia reasons. Also this would likely be good in any standard that could support metalcraft. 7) Too niche to be mythic. 8) Nah. Overall, a fair effort, I suppose. arbys: This is cute. Subtle. I like it. yodude4: Can this be white and Eldrazi flavoured? Thanks. avatarz: Lol this is silly. Do you play it in affinity or against affinity? Megiddo: Incredibly elegant and intuitive hatebear design. I love this. scarbo: Sure, I suppose. I'm not excited. Cythare: Slick fusion of pressure and disruption. Perfect. Volrath: I like that it's secretly for countering CMC0 things. I don't like that it's a hot parasitic mess. SelesnyaNewLife: This should probably be black, but as a solution to the challenge I can't help but be impressed. Hemloock: Could just be a Silence, honestly. There's no reason to overcomplicate it.
Winner: Megiddo HM: Cythare, SNL

Genuine question as I don't spend as long around CCC as I used to...
Is your meaning (roughly) that it's contrived/narrow & that getting it up to its theoretical "maximum power level" requires a deck that regularly has multiple planeswalkers in play (i.e. something that doesn't/shouldn't really happen)? Because all of that would be pretty valid.
I did think that of all the possible "this doesn't happen" events you could set X to be equal to, controlling planeswalkers was a fairly entertaining option. It's, like, almost satire while at the same time having identifiable flavour.

"My will is my own. I won't bow to fate." - Volrath, Null Profusion
Plot of Dragon's Maze:
Niv-Mizzet plays Realmwright, chooses "Gate". Then a dramatic retelling of the ensuing argument.

Basically.
For it to do anything at all during conventional play requires multiple of some of the most powerful, rare, and expensive cards in all of Magic. And when you finally get it to work, it just counters tiny spells. That's no fun.

doesnt it counter a black lotus with zero planeswalkers in play? i thought that was the point.

I thought that the design was much better in Vintage, where noncreature spells that have a converted mana cost of 0 are much more common, and thus where this card can have an application as a Negate/Nix hybrid. (It also protects your resolved Jace or Dack from a REB)
Chandra Ablaze1RR
Planeswalker - Chandra (M)

Konda's Loreweaver2WW
Creature - Human Cleric (U)
Whenever Konda's Loreweaver attacks, target legendary permanent you control gains indestructible for as long as you control Konda's Loreweaver. He channels Konda's divine light to empower his champions for the battles ahead.
2/2
EDIT: Changed "until end of turn" to "as long as you control" - probably too strong, but up to you.
IIW: Light and airy
Replacing Konda's Hatamoto. I really wanted to replace Kitsune Healer, because that card is terrible, but it is a) a common, b) has no flavor justification for granting indestructible.
Cemetery Grime 2G
Creature - Ooze (rare)
Whenever a creature you control dies, put X +1/+1 counters on Cemetery Grime, where X is that creature's toughness.
Sacrifice a creature: Regenerate Cemetery Grime.
