Roxith, Thane of Rot2BBBB
Legendary Artifact Creature- Horror Construct (M)

Chianul, Who Whispers Twice2GU
Legendary Creature-Human Shaman [R]
Whenever a permanent is turned face up, you may draw a card and/or untap a land you control. UG, t: Look at the top card of your library. You may manifest it. (Put it onto the battlefield face down as a 2/2 creature. Turn it face up any time for its mana cost if it's a creature card.) "I learned all I know by listening to the world."

Lady Farisa, Patrician1WW
Legendary Creature - Human Advisor T: Destroy target enchantment. Its controller may search his or her library for an enchantment with converted mana cost equal to 1 plus the destroyed enchantment's converted mana cost and put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle his or her library. No, no, no! We simply must find you some better decor. Let's see what we can find, shall we?
1/3
IIW: Depth without complexity and/or your favorite color.
I hadn't thought about using authors quoted in flavor text, but that's a cool idea! I like the creativity!
Cythare: I'm not entirely sure how this represents Coleridge, mostly from my extremely limited knowledge of his life and works. Sorry, I just don't know enough about him and his writing to judge this one accurately.
JuanCu: Cool card, but no IIW. I'll give comments anyway, though. I really like how this illustrates the childishness of his work (a human token wouldn't have been nearly as flavorful, introducing a new creature type was quite appropriate here.) However, from the new creature type stems my main issue with the card: If they kill the 1/1 token, which isn't the hardest thing to do, Lewis Carroll is now a 2/2 vanilla. Nice card, though.
Piar: I think that Chadir should have more navigator-y abilities. He's a cool card, but really doesn't fit the flavor that well. With the exploration flavor of Zendikar, tutoring for an artifact or a land might have been appropriate. Also, I don't know if we have any clues as to Chadir's race or color, but I've always imagined him as green, as evidenced by the flavor text on the Zendikar printing of Vastwood Gorger (can't get that printing to come up here).
Chemtrails: I like this. A lot. It fits flavor well, and it's not too complicated, but it's also not too simple to be a mythic legend. Effective, well designed, and well formatted also.
Luusydh: Volrath the Risen commented that X=0 was an issue. You fixed that, but really everything up to X=3 or 4 is still an issue, paying 1 for a permanent, even with the card, is way too cheap. Cool design, though. You could fix this easily with a "Gain control of target permanent with CMC X or less. Its controller draws a card." instead of any permanent and X cards. I think that gold counters could be an issue too. With the current text, a permanent with no gold counters can't be affected, so nobody would ever pay to put gold counters on their permanents.
RedKid: Roxith is cool, but can quickly get out of hand. Killing their big creature with lots of -1/-1 counters becomes a board wipe AND a huge creature, which can lots-for-one the opponent.
Mikaeus: I REALLY like the feel of Chianul. It's quite powerful, but not overly so. The mystic shaman flavor is portrayed well. My only issue is that the triggered ability is unnecessarily wordy, there are very few instances in which you would only choose one. Aside from this, though, it's a great card that could see a little bit of play in standard and certainly makes for an interesting legend.
TacticalCelebrant: I like Lady Farisa, she's reminiscent of Birthing Pod but not in a going-to-be-banned-in-modern kind of way. A nice enchantment tutor, but much harder to use than pod, as sacrificing an enchantment is a steeper cost than a creature. However, the versatility of the ability for destroying enchantments as well makes it pretty cool.
Tilwin: The challenge said a legendary creature from flavor text. As far as I could find, no flavor text mentions an Avatar of Esper. Cool card, though. Reminds me of the Souls from m15.

4/7
Very well, judging now (before CF decides to clog up the thread with junk posts).
sperlman: Nice set of alternate Elder Dragons. I like Dhamot and Terik the best since they have abilities that connect with each other. Kanir seems disjointed and Vamad could just spawn Dragons from both instants and sorceries and/or straight-up Lightning Bolt whenever a Dragon enters the battlefield. Is Adabh meant to be able to tap itself? Nice touch.
JuanCu: Perhaps it should work like Faith's Reward: "[...]return target creature card put into your graveyard from the battlefield this turn."
scrad_the_wanderer: Lacks P/T: I'm guessing it's around 5/4? Could be a powerful Standard card as a finisher for R/W. It's kind of meh as a Commander, though.
Tilwin: It may seem hypocritical for me to decry combat generals in R/W and praise this, but this is an anthem and a rather innovative one to boot. Reminds me of Legion's Initiative, scaled up.
netn10: Being able to lock down the whole board is very strong, even more so at instant speed. The 6/6 that comes with an effect is gravy. Maybe bumping it up to 7 mana would be better.
admirableadmiral: KoolKoal is right about the proposed wording change. That said, this is okay. Cascading into more Dragons is always good, though I guess I'm just spoiled by Maelstrom Wanderer.
iphanx: A punisher effect might be strong in Standard and other formats, especially if the alternative is pumping up your creatures. Maybe it should trigger on each attack?
avatarz: Relying on your opponent having more creatures than you is not really my cup of tea. I'd rather have something like a bigger Suture Priest.
Cythare: Like how this one suddenly erupts from the grave whenever one of your creatures attacks.
mirrorentity: Yeah, I know, less R/W combat generals-- but the thing is, this one does something unusual. It allows you to re-use ETB effects by bouncing the creature in question. There are a lot of good ETB creatures in both colors.
Megiddo: 8/8 trampling flier for 6 mana. Uh. Isn't that a bit OP?
