It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.
Nice try, Volrath, but I see your cookware operation as the fiendish plan it truly is!
Rebellion Crusher1WW
Creature - Archon (R)
Flying

Able Negotiator2W
Creature - Human Advisor [U]
~ has protection from colours among permanents you control. He has a friend in every club, an ally in every brawl, and a fellow in every academy.
2/2
IIW: Roman top-down
A bigger Empty-Shrine Kannushi. I'd look to add another ability on it and bump it to rare to seperate the two.
Withering Hatred1B
Instant (U)
Destroy target white, blue, red, or green creature. "The black depths of night leave no room for colour."
IIW: CCC
Interesting variant on Doom Blade. Ignoring power level, I think this would be fine at uncommon, since its mostly weaker than Doom Blade (hits multicolour black creatures but not colourless creatures).
Keep Warden2W
Creature - Human Soldier (U)
Whenever Keep Warden blocks a multicolored creature, put a +1/+1 counter on it.
Keep Warden can block an additional creature for each +1/+1 counter on it.
1/3
IIW: "Shuffle your library, then"
Typically, multicolour cards have higher power-levels than monocoloured cards, which means more cards with either evasion or high P/T numbers. A 2/4 without reach or flying probably won't be able to block them most of the time, meaning his second ability won't matter most of the time (unless you put counters on it some other way). I think his ability is a bit too narrow, even in a multicolour set.
Corpse FlowersG
Creature — Plant (R) T: Add G to your mana pool. Morbid—T: Add two mana of any one color to your mana pool. Activate this ability only if a creature died this turn. They blossom brightest when planted on a fresh grave.
0/1
IIW: Oddball creature type tribal
Pretty cool, though triggering morbid and still having enough mana left to do something with the second ability can be a bit difficult. I'd maybe consider changing the second ability to something like 'Morbid-When this ETBs, if a creature died this turn, put a +1/+1 counter on this and it gains "T: Add 2 of any colour" (indefinitely).' I think it fits better flavourfully and adds a bit of tension as to when you want to play your manadork.
I can't think of something right now, so I'm just going to leave this here.
Zerapa Peak
Legendary Land (R)
Nonbasic lands are Mountains.
IIW: "Shuffle your library, then"
This is pretty busted. There's a mono-U deck splashing for Blood Moon (and bolt), and this card gives them what they want at no mana cost that can't be responded to and has little to no maindeck (AND sideboard) answers in almost every modern list (when there's a land that's unanswerable by Tectonic Edge, there's a problem). Punishing greedy manabases is fine, and something I'd expect to see in a multicolour set, but not something this oppressive.
Dark Power1R
Sorcery {C}
target black creature gets +3/+0 until end of turn
--His monster made of sidewalk chases bigger than even the most awesome lace
– Mons
IIW: Encourage attacking.
Card: skate never
Flavour text: The first part is clearly Cobblebrute, but I'm not sure what "lace" refers to. Azami, Lady of Scrolls? Horseshoe Crab? It's an eternal mystery wrapped in an unending enigma.
Passionate Zealot1R
Creature - Human (U)
Whenever Passionate Zealot blocks or becomes blocked by a white or blue creature, it gets +2/+0 until end of turn. "Fire knows not patience, nor rationality. Fire only knows hunger." - Surak, philosopher
2/1
IIW superhero themes
I would have changed this so that it only triggers on becoming blocked but also gives first strike. It fits both flavourfully with the card and mechanically with what red likes to do. In all but the more aggressive of formats, a Goblin Piker is close to unplayable, so I don't see much harm in giving an uncommon some more oompf.
Spectral Insight2U
Sorcery (C)
Prismatic (This spell is the colors of mana spent to cast it.)
Draw a card for each of ~'s colors.
IIW: Board games
This seems back-breakingly powerful for a common. Especially with the mana-fixing present in multicolour sets, cobbling together three of any colour in limited (one of which must be blue) should be extremely easy, and at that point you'd have Concentrate at 3 mana. They don't even print Concentrate anymore. Lack of flavour and a narrow keyword don't help.
Witch-Maw WorshiperG
Creature- Human Shaman (Uncommon)
Trample
2W: Put a +1/+1 counter on Witch-Maw Worshipper.
2U: Witch-Maw Worshipper gains hexproof until end of turn.
2B: Destroy target creature with power 2 or less.
1/1
IIW: Residents of Vitu-Ghazi
I would have judged this card normally, had everyone done this, but you were the only one. Off-colour mana symbols in the textbox just skirt the restriction of the challenge, especially since without any other colour this is just a Charging Badger, which is mediocre at best. The B ability seems a bit oppressive for limited, and I can imagine annoying games where the Worshipper player just leaves up their mana every turn to respond to whatever the opponent does (since this card by itself can win the game), leading to repetitive board states.
Nice try, Volrath, but I see your cookware operation as the fiendish plan it truly is!
Rebellion Crusher1WW
Creature - Archon (R)
Flying
As long as you control a red permanent, Rebellion Crusher has first strike.
As long as you control a black permanent, Rebellion Crusher has lifelink.
3/3
IIW: Disney villains or Enchantment creatures that are riffs of other enchantments (bonus points for capitalizing on being a creature)
I'm not sure how I feel about an Emancipation Angel that replaces drawback with upside, but it's probably okay. I like that both of the abilities it gets are shared by the colour they get it from. The abilities don't have all that much synergy with each other though. It also seems a bit small for an Archon (there's Ornithatch, but I'm iffy on that one to begin with).
Hero of the Moonfall2W
Creature — Human Soldier (R)
First strike
Whenever you cast a spell, creatures you control that share a color with that spell get +1/+1 until end of turn.
2/2
Don't know if this should be legendary or not. I'll go with no.
IIW: make a card that combos with the entry above yours
Yes, awesome. This is the kind of card I really wanted to see: something you could play in a monocolour deck but could work just fine in a multicolour deck. This one actually encourages only playing one colour a bit more than multicolour, but I think that's fine; some tension in what a set wants you to do is always good. And it's not like there's no bonus to not playing multicolour, since you get to play all of the good cards from multiple colours instead of just one. It could do with some actual flavour and a better name, but otherwise it's great.
Diverse StrengthG
Sorcery
Choose a color and a creature. Put a +1/+1 counter on that creature.
Repeat this process any number of times, choosing a different color and a different creature each time.
IIW: until
No rarity. Does the creature have to have the chosen colour? Because as is it doesn't have to, and as is there's no reason this shouldn't just say "Put a +1/+1 counter on up to five target creatures.", which is pretty darn ridiculous for 1 mana. If it worked where the creature had to also be the chosen colour it'd be a lot more balanced (and would actually fit the challenge), though a little underwhelming award considering what the card asks of you (having multiple creatures of different colours).
Stern Guardian2WW
Creature - Loxodon Soldier (U)
Vigilance
Whenever an opponent casts a monocolored spell, put a +1/+1 counter on Stern Guardian unless that player pays 2.
3/2
IIW: Rare red creatures that cost 1R.
There are a number of things confusing about this card. Monocoloured cards generally aren't oppressive against their own monocoloured brethren - this is something I'd expect to see on a multicoloured card (it's weird to see a hate card hate against itself, unless it's extremely specific, like Gainsay). The flavour is also confusing - mana payments are usually associated with bribery or taxation, and a 'Stern Guardian' I don't really associate with either. Loxodon is also not a supported creature type - they're called Elephants. This also isn't an effect I'd expect to find at uncommon - it seems more rare material. I think there's an idea here, but it needs to be refined into a more cohesive whole.
