Not sure if you're trolling, but just for clarification that article was written on April 1st and NNWO is fake. Regeneration is safe.
NNWO is all too real, and April 1st was the only time that Maro could publish it. The powers-that-be let it slip through the cracks because they assumed the uneducated masses would lap it up as an inane "April Fools' joke." We need to be grateful that Maro put his life on the line to get the message out to the word: NNWO is coming. Nay, it's already here. The global elite have conspired to dilute our intricately beautiful game of Magic into some simple, sugary-sweet thing that they're using to control us; to lull us into a false sense of security. It began with M10, but that was child's play in comparison. You think damage off the stack was a good thing? Then you'll love no stack at all. And hexproof? Have fun with global hexproof on all creatures. This isn't the future -- it's the present.
Mending Slaughter1

IIW: Another spell with Recall.
Recall should probably be an ability word like Morbid or Threshold. Given that the premiere trigger condition is something lengthy like this, and I assume the other triggering conditions would vary wildly, making it a keyword is inappropriate, especially because this is templated like a cost.
I've gone through a few designs already, but regeneration is never the interesting thing about them. It's just sort of there.
What do you want from us?!
Emergency Medic2W
Creature - Human Cleric (C)

Are you aware that this would only work if two separate events would destroy those this guy and the other creature? His activated ability will set up a regen shield, but the triggered ability won't fire until he would get destroyed, at which point you can put a regen shield on something else. If they would be destroyed at the same time, this won't be able to save the other dude.

Three attempted regenerate cards, none work. I'm done with this challenge.
What happens when you're playing Magic and you need to regenerate a creature? Do you just make it up?
Troll Telempath2GG
Creature - Troll Cleric (?) 1G: Regenerate Troll Telempath and up to one other target creature.

I fixed it for you.
I know how it works when playing, (not to mention that 99% of the time these weird cases aren't coming up) it's just that trying to design in the unused space of Regenerate is leading me to the other 1%, and I forget about all the odd subtleties of the ability. Thanks for the fix!
Cythare - Helm of the Tel-Jilad Precursor
This is certainly a cool copy effect. It bums me out a little how the green side of the card is shown but not the blue side. This might actually be overcosted, because it takes 9 mana before it does anything.
Swishh - Death Rattler
The design is fine, but this is the most annoying thing to ever face in limited ever. At the very least, make it uncommon.
Ink-Treader - Scarseeker Berserker
The idea of a level up creature that gets bigger as it regenerates is cool. I think the final form is a little lackluster though, especially considering how difficult it is to get it leveled all the way up.
Freshmeat - Thrun's Teachings
Simple, yet powerful, flavorful, and intuitive. Nothing else to say except that I think you found the perfect mana cost for the effect.
SelesnyaNewLife - Emergent Ooze
Rules discussion aside, I really like this effect. It does seems a bit pushed though, since you're essentially making a P/T clone of whatever it blocks.
Lapson2 - Trollblood Keeper
This is cool as a kind of 'regeneration lord.' It lets you use regeneration proactively rather than reactively.
MOON-E - Death Collector
Extort is really sweet on this creature. I think that the life cost to regenerate should be steep but otherwise great design.
arbritaryarmor - Cursed Existence
This card is funny and sad at the same time. I like how regeneration is actually used as a downside here.
AsianInvasion - Sigiled Troll
A clever way to make a noble troll. Limited powerhouse.
spaceyjdjames - One Last Shot
I appreciate the effort to make red-flavored regeneration, but I think this card is still too narrow.
PanchoPonceN - Skyshroud Lurker
A simple effect, but the tie-in to the naya 5-power mechanic is really cool.
AmShegar - Terrin, the Petrified
This looks like something out of a future sight set. Definitely a cool effect but I think this may cause memory problems.
SelesnyaNewLife - Back in Black, I Hit the Sack, It's Been Too Long I'm Glad to be Back
What
CodaPDX - Spike Mender
This is a great spike card but it's a bit boring. Doesn't really break into any new design space.
CodaPDX - Cacophonous Horror
Clever design. Three separate keywords on an uncommon is pushing the complexity, but I think it works out fine. This wants to be played in hobo so bad.
MagicBrains - Oozification
I love making everyone an ooze, but making everyone always regenerate leads to clogged and unfun boardstates.
Ehzak, Master of Magics - Cemetery Surgeon
I'm always a fan of elegant abilities. Also, troll surgeon? 0_o
Cythare - Relentless Dead
I didn't read your card, was too distracted by your signature.
arbitraryarmor - Blustering Troll
Flavorful and elegant. It's a bit bland for a rare but I think you made the right decision.
spaceyjdjames - Mass Regenesis
See, you understand. It's not about having the most efficient anti-removal card, oh no. It's all about having a premium card of the utmost quality. Impractical yes, but unfashionable no. Style is the name of the game.
SelesnyaNewLife - Back to Dust
Cute, but far too narrow. At least make it cantrip or something.
The_Cooler - Wings of the Skyfolk
Exactly like you said, this is a flexible limited card. I like the idea of green being able to grant auto-regenerate at uncommon.
The_Cooler - Foothold of the Wild
I feel like the second ability is far stronger than the regeneration ability. It's a clean design though.
Cythare - Vis Tether
This effect is a cool way of reusing creatures but only if they'd die, and also disrupting opposing regeneration creatures. I think it would be cleaner if it skipped regenerating and just sent the creature straight to the hand though. But then it wouldn't meet the challenge. :/ Also missed opportunity by not making it a tribal starfish.
CrustaceanCrusader - Undead Industrial Relations Union
A fun effect, that doesn't lead to clogged board states because if your creatures keep dying then so do you. I would've made it 2 life though. Also, ++flavor text.
KageHamusuta - Korg, The Oldest Troll
It's a fine design but a little boring. I don't really see why this needs to be legendary.
Sir Karn - Pygmy Worms
I'm not going to comment on the deathtouch for :symu:. I think this is a great way to make the pygmy hippo mechanic work and its three abilities work nicely together.
ertaisfamiliar - Mending Slaughter
I don't know what I think about recall as a mechanic but it definitely works on this card. I actually think this is a bit overcosted for what it does.
FreshMeat - Emergency Medic
This is actually pretty powerful for a common. I think you could've kept it in mono-white but otherwise it's fine.
clownin - Stone of War or Prosperity
This has some cool top-down flavor but it seems horribly overcosted. The wording is a bit confusing too, who gets to chose which of the two bribes you take?
spaceyjdjames - Troll Telempath
I actually really like this ability, but I wish it's butt was smaller so that it would have more cause to regenerate.
In retrospect, semi-indestructibility isn't all that impressive. I suppose I was being overly cautious. I do that too often.
