"In the beginning, MTG Salvation switched to a new forum format.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.
Can someone please take care of this? My father in law is under surgery right now and I'm with my wife. Otherwise, I will judge as soon as I can. Thanks.
Honorable Combat2RW
Sorcery (U)
Target opponent chooses a legendary creature he or she controls, then you choose a legendary creature you control. Those creatures fight.
IIW: River Styx
This reminds of that Star Wars TCG where you had a Space battlefield, a Ground battlefield, and a Character battlefield. Works in a Kamigawa-esque set I guess.
Jabba the Hutt3BR
Legendary Creature - Slug (R) T: Target player removes an article of clothing. Put a +1/+1 counter on Jabba the Hutt. : Put a piece of clothing you own back on, then remove a +1/+1 counter from Jabba the Hutt. Any player may activate this ability.
3/3
IIW: Chickens.
This would've been fun to play against Carrie Fisher in 1983 but most certainly not in 2012.
AT-AT6
Imperial Artifact — Vehicle Walker (R)
Shielding (Counter the first spell or ability each turn which targets AT-AT.)
Transport 6 (3: choose a number of attacking or blocking creatures you control
with combined power 6 or less. You may reassign those creatures. You may
choose new defending players, Planeswalkers and Bases for attacking
creatures.) BBB,T, tap an Imperial Officer or Imperial Pilot you control: Choose one —
destroy target Generator, or destroy target creature with toughness 2 or less. This
ability cannot be countered by Shielding abilities.
Wicket, Ruler of Bright Tree2GW Legendary Creature - Ewok Warrior [R]
~'s power and toughness are each equal to the number of Ewok creatures you control. Landfall--Put a 1/1 green and white Ewok token onto the battlefield.
*/*
IIW: 1 cmc utility creatures
Hilariously enough this is probably about 0.01% the size of a Wayfaring Temple. I can suspend my disbelief for a design like this though.
Reverent Awe1W
Enchantment (U)
Creatures your opponents control enter the battlefield tapped. A bow of respect is customary among Ikhan tribesmen. The more decorated the warrior, the longer the bow.
Design name: Opening Crawl.
IIW: A new type of counter.
Uphill Battle in white. I liked that red continued to get this ability when Urabrask was printed, but this design does work. Apart from the design name, am I missing what it has to do with Star Wars?
Light Saber
Artifact - Equipment (U)
Equipped creature gets +2/+0.
If equipped creature is a Jedi, it has "prevent all noncombat damage that would be to this creature."
Equip
IIL: Two card cycles
Oathkeeper, Takeno's Daisho in a galaxy far, far away? Well Lucas did want Mifune Toshirou to play Obi-Wan Kenobi so why not. Seems fine.
Ewok Trip-Liana3
Artifact (U)
:sym2g:, T: Prevent all combat damage that target random attacking creature would deal this turn. If that creature is an artifact, destroy it instead.
IIW: A card based on the name of a classical music piece of your choice.
How the Empire couldn't handle Ewoks is beyond me. Bipedal walkers on uneven surfaces and riding speeder bikes at 100s of MPH through a thick forest seemed like such great ideas too.
The Exile2WB Legendary Creature - Human Warrior [R]
Creatures you control have lifelink.
At the beginning of your end step, lose 2 life for each creature you control. "You carry all those deaths at Malachor within you, and it has left a hole, a hunger that cannot be filled." ~ Vrook Lamar, Jedi Master

Celebrity Battles1RG
Instant (R)
Choose one - Target planeswalker you control deals damage equal to the number of loyalty counters on him or her to target planeswalker or legendary creature you don't control; or target legendary creature you control deals damage equal to its power to target planeswalker or legendary creature you don't control.
Each opponent who controls a permanent targetted by Celebrity Battles may copy this spell. They may choose new targets for the copies.
IIW: IIWception
Ditto my comment on Cythare's card. Awfully wordy though.
Solar Collision2WUBRG
Sorcery (M)
Exile all permanents. At the beginning of each player's next main phase, that player draws seven cards, then adds X mana in any combination of colours to his or her mana pool, where X is the number of permanents exiled this way.

IIW: Looters that cost 6 or more
Too good. Deft Duelist is already pushing the envelope.
Space Slugs1BG
Enchantment (R)
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a -1/-1 counter on each creature whose toughness is smaller than another creature on the battlefield. "The cave is collapsing!"
"This is no cave."
―Leia Organa and Han Solo
IIW: A block inside someone's mind. (Make a card for each set and explain shortly the block's storyline. -10 points if Jace is involved)
Okay avatarz, why are your IIWs so :o? Card notwithstanding I want you to win but I'm not a fan of Space Slugs.
Lightsabre3 [R]
Artifact - Equipment
Equipped creature gets +3/+1 and has first strike. 1W: The next 1 damage that would be dealt to equipped creature is dealt to another creature of your choice instead. 2B: Equipped creature deals 1 damage to target creature.
Equip 4 Two causes, one weapon.
IIW: A wedge mythic
I prefer Piar's -- there's too much happening here.
Lucas's CharmWUB
Instant (R)
Choose one- Put a 2/2 white indestructable Gungan creature token onto the battlefield; or target Legendary creature loses all abilities until end of turn; or sacrifice a permanent,
draw cards equal to its converted mana cost.
IIW: tribal charms
Needs "Target player gains control of all permanents you control. You get four billion gold counters."
Moisture Farm
Land U T: Add 1 to your mana pool.
At the beginning of your upkeep put a moisture counter on Moisture Farm.
Remove 3 moisture counters from Moisture Farm: Destroy target artifact.
Force Lightning1R
Instant C
Force Lightning deals 3 damage to target creature or player, then if an opponent has more life than you, you may pay 1R. If you do, return Force Lightning to your hand. Feel the Force

Apparently people don't care for words, and admittedly the majority of that was reminder text that if a real card would not necessarily include that reminder text. Still had fun with the contest though.
Piperlings(U/G)
Creature — Faerie (r)
Flying
When Piperlings enters the Battlefield, look at the top three cards
of your library. You may reveal a creature card with converted mana
cost of 1 or less and put it in your hand and put the rest on the bottom
of your library. If that card is named Piperlings, repeat the process. "Piperlings? Let's find a route through the forest that's less... musical."
1/1
IIW: Arabian Nights
Changed my card because I realized not that "t: populate" was unfair, but rather putting it on a 1-drop would be fruitless early game and useless late game. Also, for those who haven't played mtg before onslaught, green has faeries.
Father of the ClanG
Creature - Elf Warrior (C)
Father of the Clan enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter. T: Move a +1/+1 counter from Father of the Clan to another target creature.
"Take into the future this legacy of our fathers which I've carried for as long as there was strenght in my shoulders, my son."
IIW: A card based on the name of a classical music piece.
I'm calling it right now- worst rare in the set. Even good limited players will find better bombs at common and uncommon no sweat. Worst. Episode. Ever.
I really do predict this to be our worst rare in set award winner. I'd be happier opening a jar of eyeballs, so I think anything worse is highly unlikely. This card wont just have zero constructed potential, but not be significantly better than a mass of ghouls in a draft.

(By comparison: the Dark Tower series is about 1.6 million words, and the Otherland series is a hair over a million words, just to cover two series that I've read, though the former doesn't quite qualify as fantasy and the latter is very much sci-fi.)
Otherland is great. I wonder how old my 300,000 number is....

Cathedral of War for another BW mechanic, okay. I hate extort but that aside I like this card.
Uphill Battle in white. I liked that red continued to get this ability when Urabrask was printed, but this design does work. Apart from the design name, am I missing what it has to do with Star Wars?
Oathkeeper, Takeno's Daisho in a galaxy far, far away? Well Lucas did want Mifune Toshirou to play Obi-Wan Kenobi so why not. Seems fine.
Doesn't really fit banthas in particular.
How the Empire couldn't handle Ewoks is beyond me. Bipedal walkers on uneven surfaces and riding speeder bikes at 100s of MPH through a thick forest seemed like such great ideas too.
A more annoying Timberpack Wolf, but Ewoks are rather annoying themselves so you hit the nail on the head.
