Kardan Gorn 2BR
Planeswalker - Kardan (M)
[+1] ~ deals 1 damage to target creature. You may pay BR. If you do, you may activate one of ~'s abilities again this turn.
[-3] Destroy target creature that was dealt damage this turn.
[-9] Return up to three target creature cards among graveyards to the battlefield. ~ deals damage equal to their combined power, divided as you choose among any number of target creatures or players.
[3]
Liliana, Mistress of the Veil 2BB
Planeswalker-Liliana (MR)
+2: Each player sacrifices a creature.
-1: Target player discards a card at random from his or her hand.
-7: You get an emblem with "At the beginning of your upkeep, each opponent discards a card and sacrifices a creature."
{4}
IIW:
Create a card based on a non-WoW Blizzard game (other warcraft is fine, just not WoW.)
Ob Nixilis, the Risen2BB
Planeswalker - Nixilis {M}
{+2}: Search target oponent's library for a card and exile it. Then that player shuffles his or her library.
{-1}: Each opponent loses 2 life.
{-X}: You may play a card exiled by Ob Nixilis, the Risen with converted mana cost X or less without paying its mana cost.
{4}
NB: "Play", not "cast", because you can't cast lands.
IIW:
Make a card with Graft, Bloodthirst, and/or Amplify.
I works well for me how it can be used for prison decks. It works nicely in a normal deck too since it can fetch answers for you. However I am not a very big fan of searching opponents’ decks in general.
8/10
Mystical Brujah1BB
Planeswalker - Brujah (M)
{+1}: Put a 1/1 black Zombie creature token onto the battlefield.
{+1}: Zombie creatures you control are indestructible until the beginning of your next upkeep.
{-1}: Target player loses X life and you gain X life, where X is the number of Zombies you control.
{-5}: Return all Zombie cards from your graveyard to the battlefield. {4}
A very nice planeswalker in general. Works really really well in zombie decks and might spawn an archtype for legacy. However I dislike how it can be used for defense in a mono B deck. Still a very good planeswalker also I like how it reminds me of Elspeth.
9/10
Soul Bolas2UBR
Planeswalker — Bolas {M}
[+2]: Destroy target artifact, creature, or land.
[-3]: Tap all creatures target player controls. They don't untap during that player's next untap step.
[-9]: Target player discards his or her hand. You draw a card for each card discarded this way.
{5}
I guess???
IIW: This card is trash, are you kidding me?
This sure is powerful. It completely destroys the opponents board and even taps down all his creatures. Sadly I dislike that it is multi colored.
7/10
Yawgmoth CompleatBBB
Planeswalker - Yawgmoth
You may pay 1 life instead of removing a loyalty counter from Yawgmoth Compleat to use its abilities.
\-1/ Draw a card.
\-3/ Target player sacrifices any number of creatures, then loses 1 life for each creature he or she controls.
\-6/ Until end of turn, you may play cards from any graveyard as though they were in your hand. If a card would be put into your graveyard this turn, exile it instead.
[ 3 ]
Create a five-color planeswalker.
I like it, however I believe it to be completely broken. It would reck the world in a storm combo.
It is actually only the last ability that bothers me; I like how the others grant you card advantage and kills you opponent.
6/10
Dreth Nefarium2BB Planeswalker - Dreth
{+2}: Choose a card type. Target player reveals his or her hand. You choose a card of that type from it. That player discards that card.
{-2}: Destroy target creature. Its controller loses 2 life.
{-7}: You get an emblem with, "Whenever an opponent loses life, you may draw that many cards."
[4]
IIW: Create a card that would dissuade people from attacking you.
Hmm I dunno how good the first one is, however since it gives +2 it is properly good enough. The two other abilities are really really cool and is exactly how I like planeswalkers.
Nice job on this one.
8.5/10
Garimen, the Living Hive2BB
Planeswalker - Garimen
[+1] Put two 0/1 black Pest creature tokens with flying onto the battlefield.
[-2] Destroy target creature. Put a 0/1 black Pest creature token with flying onto the battlefield.
[-6] Sacrifice X Pest creatures you control. Put an X/X black legendary Pest creature token named "Hive" with flying onto the battlefield with "When this creature enters the battlefield, target player loses life equal to it's power.
{4}
IIW:
Make a legendary creature that would make a great EDH general.
I don’t like how he is so defensive when he is a black planewalker, however he certainly is a pain in the ass since he block just about everything and then start destroying creatures. Again this one makes me think of Elspeth.
8/10
Kaoru, Underworld Guide 2WB
Planeswalker - Kaoru
[+1] Exile target non-spirit creature you control. Put three 1/1 white spirit creature tokens with flying onto the battlefield.
[-1] Spirit creatures you control get +1/+1 and gain lifelink.
[-6] Exile all spirit creatures. Target player loses X life, where X is twice the number of spirits exiled this way.
{3}
Hmm I don’t really like this one, it needs to exile your own creatures and it is multicolor. However is it powerful enough when cast if you have the creatures. The cmc could easily be 4 or even 3 imo.
6/10.
[QUOTE=Burtelga;/comments/8108495]Burtelga, Corrupted3BB
Planeswalker - Burtelga
+1: Add BB to your mana pool.
+X: Discard the top X cards from your library.
-2: Put 3 -1/-1 counters on any number of creatures in play.
-X: Return a number of creatures with a total converted mana cost of X from your graveyard onto the battlefield. Those creatures gain +3/+3, shroud, and fear.
{1}
Make a planeswalker that is a rival of the winning planeswalker for the last challenge.
Hmm this card have some serious potential to wreck thing completely. It can mill your entire deck the turn you play it. Which is gg 99.9% of the time. It costs 5 and most of the abilities seem bad compared to the –X. Not the best way in the world to gather loyalty. The last ability is also rather good if you have milled almost you entire deck. Imo a no-go.
6/10
Skazlek, The Thirsty2BB Planeswalker - Skazlek
{+X}: You lose X life.
{-2}: Put 2 1/1 black bat creature tokens with flying onto the battlefield.
{-8}: Put an emblem onto the battlefield with "Whenever a creature is put into the graveyard from the battlefield put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control"
{4}
IIW: Create a suspend card which has effects when time counters are removed.
Not really that competitive imo. I like the idea of just losing life to get loyalty, however the other abilities doesn’t seem to be worth it.
7/10
Sorin, Vampire Commandant - 1BB
Planeswalker - Sorin
[+1]: Discard a Vampire, search your library for a Vampire, reveal it and put it into your hand.
[-1]: Until end of turn, whenever an opponent loses life you may distribute that many +1/+1 counters amongst any number of Vampires you control.
[-7]: Put all Vampires from your graveyard onto the battlefield.
[3]
IIW - Design a Tribal lord with an interesting and flavourful effect.
Don’t like how it have to be used with vampires. It is cheap however and would likely give vampires a kick. Don’t find it that competitive in the eternal formats however.
7/10
Liliana, Mistress of the Veil 2BB
Planeswalker-Liliana (MR)
+2: Each player sacrifices a creature.
-1: Target player discards a card at random from his or her hand.
-7: You get an emblem with "At the beginning of your upkeep, each opponent discards a card and sacrifices a creature."
{4}
IIW:
Create a card based on a non-WoW Blizzard game (other warcraft is fine, just not WoW.)
I really like it. Actually, it gives you board control and card advantage while maintaining the flavor of black perfectly. While the last one ist gg right there on the spot it certainly makes it very very hard to win the game from there. 9.5/10
