I did not think devotion to C was or would ever be a possible thing, so I made it specifically require creatures with C in their cost, so quasi devotion. I also started her with Annihilator, but realized that Ingest actually made much more sense.

Not sure about the cost and numbers on this one, but I tried to work with the idea of your opponent choosing between potential short-term gain and long-term gain, like Truce does. The flavor is simply that when a planeswalker is antagonized, they have to keep their temper in check or there are consequences.
Then again, there are exceptions, like the following card.

For the Avenger I went with a very pissed off Avacyn, it is difficult to turn a mono into a three color and give it some bit of each flavor without going overboard. I wanted to retain the landfall ability and blinking her seemed in keeping with her innistrad roots hopefully this was not to much of a stretch.
