About any "subpar" mechanics or cards: Context is king.
If I make a templating or grammar error, let me know.
The franchise MtG most resembles is Battlestar Galactica. Why? Its players exist in, at most, a dozen different models at any given point in time, with perhaps up to 3% variation, 5% if you're lucky.
If an effect from a card other than cards named Directed Intentions would replace an effect, ignore that replacement effect instead. (Replacement effects use 'If', 'would be', and/or 'instead'.)
Confusingly worded, sorry, you get the basic idea.

Karma doesn't exist. You can't depend on it. If you count on it for justice or catharsis, you will find that you have placed your emotions on very unstable ground; and you will either repeat your disappointment in society over and over, or you will engage in a persistent delusion to protect yourself from that feeling.

That's kind of a weak hose, as all you've done is make something that can't be targeted by hawk1674's card. It doesn't stop the card, should you have some other multi-color cards.

I think it's part of the game to make cards that aren't hideously broken. That card would be a good one for the I have a 5/6 creature for 1 mana and no drawbacks. Can you balance this? [game] (http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=78076) I mean, you can attack on turn 1, for 6 damage.
