First off, spells resolve, they don't come into play (or enter the battlefield). Second, my card made a player lose life. Loss of life can't be prevented, nor can creatures lose life. So your card doesn't really hose mine. Therefore, I will proceed as if your card was this...

Oh that card doesn't make sense at all and it doesn't really hose the card before it either. (damage prevention versus life loss and the "spell" under your control thing doesn't make any sense either...not that the counter to the split second card functions properly either mind you (just because something has split second doesn't mean it's the only thing on the stack it just means that nothing can be above it on the stack in normal circumstances.)
So let's see if I can counter all three of the previous cards.
