Trophyless guy.
Thought of the Month: I gave up from trying to require the 'i' on my name: SolesticIo
For the record, I generally dislike cards that say "You win the game" on it. The card I submitted was a bit of a joke, but it's the card that wins me my third position as judge. Go figure.
This challenge isn't nearly as complicated as the last I offered, I promise.
My group has been playing a lot of Elder Dragon Highlander recently, and we've noticed that Generals with some sort of tutoring ability are generally (ha ha) stronger that those without.
So: Make me a Legendary Creature with an ability that allows you to search your library for something. This could be as broad as Demonic Tutor on wings or as narrow and specific as Iname, Death Aspect.
Do note also that your submission does not need to be tailored to meet the needs of the EDH format. You can make your card specifically for EDH if you want to, but if it doesn't stand its own ground in regular Magicland, you won't score high.
Balance and flavour will count for 10 points each for a total possible score of 20. I'll make comments on what I like and what I don't like about each submission and base my scores on how heavily I think those factors affect the card overall. I won't be a grammar Nazi this time, but I will dock points if an ability is worded too poorly to understand or if it just doesn't work with the rules. (If you think your card might not work with the rules, it may be to your benefit to explain how you might make them place nice together.)
Good luck! I look forward to many interesting, flavourful, bad-ass submissions!

Nothing is truly your own.
