I was going to write up some Oracle text, but I gave up. Sorry.
Not nearly the extent of some of the stories here, but this Sunday my gf ran a Bloodlord of Vaasgoth through the wash. It would have been impossible to identify, had it not been one of the promo foil ones. Maybe I'll look at what the challenge is, too. Somehow, this challenge reminds me of Coldsnap. I'll be back to make a submission, hopefully.

The -2 ability is like Bolas' +3 and -2. The +3 ability is sensible, except it doesn't commit to inverse-Bolas concept as the other two do. The abilities hardly relate to each other.

There's a reason Gideon prevents damage to itself when it becomes a creature. To prevent player confusion over loyalty counter removal. I guess loyalty won't be removed when it's only a creature, not a creature-planeswalker. But will most players know that and avoid arguments?
For the +3, I guess saying "target permanent" helps for Llanowar Reborn and future stuff like that.
The ultimate is quite the game winner. It's even more brutal than Bolas', especially in multiplayer.

Huh. This is more like how I wish Crescendo of War had worked. Crescendo just said, "all creatures die in combat." This is more like, "your creatures die in combat, mine just chill."
The repeatable but targetive Angus Mackenzie-esque ability is complimentary and solid.

I like the cost, power/toughness package here. The abilities are less appealing, I care not for the anti-removal (shroud) in combination with a repeatable mass fog.
And I'm wary of freely using the text "until your next turn/upkeep" since there is very, very few cards that actually do that, and can be a memory problem or combo problem with something that allows you to skip your turns.

Scars-O-Mirrodelicious / Esperific.
The last ability is, of course, quite unusual. Not only does it target as part of the cost (is that possible?) it allows you to exile other player's artifacts as a cost. It's a pretty strong ability, and probably easy enough to use. I'd've rather it required 3 artifact to be exiled, then it'd match up with 3 required for metalcraft nicely.
