Welcome to the first season of MTG Salvation Design Idol 2012! Who will it be this season? Only time and your votes will tell
The rules.
1: Have Fun!!! 2: Each round, except round 1 (signup round), will have a theme, and the contestants will design cards to match that theme. 3. Players may submit a new, original card, or any card[s] they have created, so long as they are the players own original design and the card[s] meet the challenge requirements. Last word on meeting these requirements and any penalties is up to the hosts. 4: Each round will have 4 days to submit cards and 3 days to to vote for the cards. 5: Judging is only done by poll and the player with the lowest number of votes will be eliminated. Voting will be public and open to the general public. You may vote for as many, or as few cards as you like (including yourself if you want). The host(s) have final say on the validity of a vote in the case of questionable votes. 6: Any player that doesn't submit a card for any reason will be eliminated. 7: If a player submits a card or cards that does not meet the challenge requirements, that player may receive a DQ and be eliminated. If possible, the player in question will be notified to try and correct the problem before the end of the round. If the mistake is not corrected or is not caught until after the voting has begun, then the hosts will decide if a DQ will be assigned. 8: If there's a tie for the lowest vote total, all those people get to stay in the game but they get a next to their name. Anybody who already had a :symb:, however, is out. Players that get a will keep it until he or she is eliminated or we reach the Top 7 bracket. Anybody with three or less votes in a single round will also receive a :symb:. Similar rules apply. 9: The game will continue until we have a single champion... our Design Idol. 10: If the winner of the last Design Idol returns to defend his or her title (he or she must now sign-up like everyone else), he or she will earn a beside his or her name. This means if he or she would earn a for a round, the falls off instead. Or, if that player would face single elimination, the will convert into a :symb:. If the goes unused by the time we reach the Top 7 Bracket, it will fall off. 11: The Top 4 of the last Design Idol get the right to "shotgun" a place on the new season. The same is true for hosts, only they get shotgun rights for two seasons. (So any hosts of Season VI can shotgun in VII and VIII). They still have to create a card for the first round, however.(Due to the long break between rounds, the shotgun rule is suspended for the start of this iteration of the contest.)
Neither HotChocolate nor Profani received any votes, and are therfore eliminated. Cythare, pstmdrn, Marco, Socrates, and yarn did not exceed the three vote threshold, and earn a :symb:. This being the second for Socrates and yarn, that means elimination as well.
Challenge for Round 4:
Make a non-creature wedge card (WBR,URG,BGW,RWU,GBU).
Submissions will close at 9:45AM EST on Friday, August 3, 2012.

This creature enters the battlefield with two +1/+1 counters and a soul counter on it. Soul(As long as a creature has a soul counter on it, if it goes to the graveyard its controller loses 5 life.)

Like I said, I can only go by my own experience, which is now 18 years. Kind of disheartening when you think you know something and you find out that you're a notch below a low grade moron.

You did yours as "Choose two" not a "Choose one or *" modal. That's the difference in the templating. I badly worded yours as just "multiple choice" modal, "fixed number choice" is more accurate. When you can only pick a specific number of modes, whether it be 1 or 2, it's just "or". When you can pick variable amounts of modes, it becomes "and/or"

Incorrect. Unless the rules of a tournament's format state otherwise, the default is that graveyard order does matter. It's just that most tournament formats dont really care, because nothing in the past decade+ has been printed that does care. I would imagine this is a design choice, but if a card was printed that did care about graveyard order again, tournaments would probably use the default rule instead:
404.2. Each graveyard is kept in a single face-up pile. A player can examine the cards in any graveyard at any time but normally can't change their order. Additional rules applying to sanctioned tournaments may allow a player to change the order of cards in his or her graveyard.
Graveyard order still matters, even if nothing in the Modern era specifically addresses it.
Don't forget the best of them all: Soldevi Digger!
But I noticed that too, just didn't see a reason to mentiona graveyard order matter aspect, because there are those that do, even if it's a deprecated mechanic.
I made it that way because i didn't found a way to correctly word "Draw 4 cards from your graveyard", which is more or less the wording i was looking for, as it is the idea behind the flavor and to proc on-Draw abilities.
Who knows, i might just reword that. Everyone's on their toes with the order thingie
