Alright, lets see if I can make some good Commanders. Here's what I have so far:
Deryn, Matron of the Derynials :3mana::symur::symgu::symu:
Legendary Creature - Rendren Matron
Intrigue UU
Reach
Whenever a player with an Interruptor Counter draws a card, instead, that player moves the top card of their library into their graveyard. Remove an Interruptor Counter from that player.
2/5
Aryrla, Matron of the Aryrlians :3mana::symur::symrg::symr:
Legendary Creature - Rendren Matron
Intrigue RR
Flying
Whenever a creature gains an Interruptor Counter, ~ deals damage to that creature for each other Interruptor Counter on it. (ex: Soldier has 2 IC's on it, it gets another one, ~ deals 2 damage to Soldier)
5/2
Cierna, Matron of the Grenaciers :3mana::symgu::symrg::symg:
Legendary Creature - Rendren Matron
Intrigue GG
Regenerate G
All Creatures you control with Interesting get +3/+3
3/3
Deryn, Aryrla, and Cierna; Matrons of the Rendrens :3mana::symu::symr::symg:
Legendary Creature - Rendren Matron
Intrigue :symug::symgr::symru:
Rendrens you control may use Intrigue as instants T: Untap all other Rendren creatures you control

Sooo... the Third Round is up. What kind of team-ups do you think we should do?
Task I: With another player, design a creature that is a combination of both creatures. They must be both creature types and they should have at least one similarity between both creatures. This will count as both of the player's grade.
Task II: With or without another player, design a creature that helps out another creature of a different race on your team. Can be from previous rounds and can be the race's commander. (Also, if you haven't made a commander yet, you should)
Task III: With your team, design a special forces unit (can be called anything, but they should be apart of the same unit). Each player adds a creature. Must be uncommon and should have some flavor that indicates it's apart of that unit. Not everyone has to participate in this challenge
Creature- Vitrion Advisor (U)
Touched- At the beginning of your upkeep, put a +1/+1 counter on each creature that is enchanted or has a mana counter on it.
2/2 Vitrion staying with the Niari often suffer over-exposure from the strong mana of their jungles. One solution they have developed is to occasionally discharge excess energy into their Niari hosts.
What do the Niari think? Is the flavor text acceptable?
for task one, I was thinking of having some other player's race be accepted into the rendren society. so that in all respects except physically, they're a rendren. This is mainly because the rendren are so small and can't breed with most/all of the other races out there. unless any of you think it shouldn't be related to lore.
EDIT: updated op with new entries and reviews, oh and our UP
Talkaline I really like this one, feels touched indeed. You should see though that I changed touched to become an ability which says "enchanted or has a mana counter on it" so you should change it as well. The flavor text is fine as well.
About the commanders I'm confused, when were we told we should make those and under what challenge? Can someone explain that to me please? I'm getting lost here...

Lynx said it in the Discussion thread, it's like the lore and watermark things that we had to do. as far as i know, it's optional, but it's helpful, makes the contest slightly more interesting, and there may be more incentives later
Creature- Vitrion Xenarthran Soldier (C)
Exhaustion 3 (This creature enters the battlefield with three +1/+1 counters on it. When this creature attacks or blocks, remove a +1/+1 counter from it at end of combat.)
If Dyristian Guard has no +1/+1 counters on it, it has Absorb 2 (If a source would deal damage to this creature, prevent two of that damage.)
0/2 The oldest existing Vitrion city is Dyrist, which was originally established as a trading hub with the Xenarthrans. Over the centuries, the two races interbred and produced children that combined the short-lived strength of the Vitrion with the endurance of the Xenarthrans.
What do the Xenarthrans think?
Also, @Rubyclaw: How should I word the Touched ability? I can't find your revamped version.
Unfortunately school and work have had me extremely busy for the last little while (midterms), but I expect to be back in full swing soon.
As far as Round III, have you guys worked anything out?
Brofaux- What would happen if someone from another race put on an Org mask?
RubyClaw- It would be kinda cool if we came up with some reason we're in conflict this round. Here's an idea-
Not everyone understands the nature of the Niar and what happens to Vitrion who stay too long in there, and ignorance often breeds suspicion. The League of Flame is a grassroots anti-Niari group that has underground chapters in several major Vitrion cities. They claim that the disappearances in the jungles are actually murders or kidnappings by the Niari and that this "overexposure" idea is just a government cover-up for the purposes of maintaining diplomatic relations with the Niari. Also, in areas with particularly low mana flow, the League of Flame's ranks are swelled by people that resent Niari merchants that sell mana-plants for exorbitant prices. Although the city governments do their best to crack down on this group, they still carry out secret acts of vandalism against Niari living in Vitrion cities and pursue an insular, anti-immigration political agenda. Their symbol is a burning leaf.

Seems pretty cool to me. Perhaps this could be one of the major cosmopolitan centers?
@Lynx, yeah, Team Primal isn't very active, aside from me and Brofaux
for the team task, the rendren's part could be that the others have interesting, and the rendren gives +?/+? to creatures with interesting, just an idea
Talkaline I like your way of thinking, here's the Niari side of it:
The Niari and the Vitrions have been great allies since meeting each other. The offering of help and support by sending mana rich plants to the needed cities by chieftain Asan Dlara was gladly accepted and the relations between the races and their leaders became much stronger. Trade bloomed between the races, and in a bizarre unexpected way the city folk of the Virtions became better allies to the nature loving Niari than their jungle brethren. When the mana crisis started to tare apart the Vitrions, some blamed the Niari for it and saw them as vicious kidnappers who hurt the Vitrions' way of life. This has caused some already xenophobic Niari to become even more extreme in their beliefs. Many older shamans started to criticize Asan Dlara for attending to so many external events instead of taking care of her own society. Also many Niari ambassadors who moved to the Vitrion cities felt right at home and never returned to their beloved Niar forest even when they were called back. These actions were unthinkable to other Niaris, who saw this act as extremely unnatural, and made even more of the Niari simple folks dislike their city allies. Tension was starting to build between the nations, not between the leaders who shared a common goal and understood each other, but between xenophobic organizations who tried to rally the simple people of their races to hate and fear the others.
Also I think my task II creature would be Vitrion inspired as well, will make it later though. (Hint: A city-folk Niari)
Anyone wants to make challenge I hybrid with me by the way?
About challenge III I'm not sure how to even start...
Feral Niari2RG
Creature- Niari Xenarthran Berserker
Haste, wither
Touched-As long as ~ has a mana counter on it or an aura attached to it, it has trample and gets +1/-1.
4/3 The conquests of the Feral tribes left behind not only ruined cities, but also twisted offspring.
That is cool but I fear both of us don't have wither. How about something like this as our post:
Feral Niari2RG
Creature- Niari Xenarthran Berserker
Haste G,Q: put a mana counter on target creature.
If Feral Niari is touched it gets Split Strike.
3/2 The conquests of the Feral tribes left behind not only ruined cities, but also twisted offspring.
That way we use mechanics from both of us, and there is synergy between all the abilities and interesting battle effects. Do you like it?
@Lynx: Both
@Takaline: Good question. I never considered the answer to that. I suppose that they would have access to the powers of the mask, but would have a harder time controlling them.

IIW:
Multicolored millcards in something other than dimir.
Alright, then Brofaux. I'll clear up the tasks (remember, you have to do 2 of the 3)
Task 1: With another player on your team, design a creature that is a combination of both of your races. So, an Org Xanarthran or a Lorespun Scallomourn. This will count as both of the player's grade for this round.
Task 2: With or without another player on your team, design a creature that benefits another creature on your team that is not your race. This could be one of the Rendren's commanders or a Niari. If you do it with a partner, you can design two creatures that benefit each other in some way.
Task 3: With your team, design a "special forces" team, by which I mean a group of uncommons (one from each race) that is similar to each other, mechanically and/or flavor wise. You do have to do this one if your teammates do it, you can just do Task 1 and 2.
I like it a lot, but I'm worried if having if the one-mana untap cost could lead to some kind of degenerate infinite combo, assuming you can remove mana counters for mana.
@RubyClaw- 2 Mana, or maybe 1 mana and some other cost, like tapping another creature or dealing damage to itself.
@Takaline- I'm not sure, but it doesn't seem to say that we can only partner with one other race, but I might be wrong on that.
Also, what do you guys think of creating some kind of legendary, behemoth mutant that's made up from one member of each our races? Not for any particular task, just for the fun of it, and perhaps as a future villain/hero?
@Gallus: The entry for task 1 counts as both players' entry, so I'm not sure how scoring would work for someone having multiple round 1 entries. You might check with Lynx, though.
The Voltron idea sounds awesome. We could totally flavor it as a Captain Planet-esque primal avatar that can only be summoned with the combined powers of all our races. We could even use this as the "special teams" squad, with each of us creating a "planeteer" that, when they are all present, can search the deck for the Voltron and put it onto the battlefield.
I hadn't thought of a Planeteer/Volrton approach, that sounds awesome. The biggest problem I'm seeing is fitting all of the races on the type line, and coming up with mechanics that work for all the races without using absurd amounts of text.
