Oh, i was still going by the original rules - that the judge doesn't post a card. I saw you judged and didn't notice you had posted a card. I didn't realize the rules had changed. I'll put a critique in my other post.
Here’s how things work:
The first player post a card. The second player posts another card. Players please post the rarities of your cards so they can be better judged.
The third player judge’s which one is the better card. Please be specific about what you liked and what you don’t like about each card.
After that the next two players post their cards and the third one judges.
Lets the start this running with the first card:
Orb of Deceit3UB
Artifact
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may pay X life. If you do, target player mills X. (To mill X, target player puts the top X cards of his or her library into his or her graveyard.)
Suicide BomberBR
Creature - Human Fanatic
Sacrifice Suicide bomber: Deal 5 damage to target creature or player and then end the turn. Play this ability only during your upkeep.
2/1
nice card. it is balanced enough, and i like the flavor. if i were you, i would've made it a 2/2 and added flavor text to finish things of.

this is one card that players who use mill decks would hardly use. to pay 1 life just to mill one card? one would rather use Cathari Adept for that. compared to other cards like Merrow Witsniper and Screeching Sliver, your card is also waay overcosted. it is also flavorally distant.

Nature's Link:
This card makes me think of Sakiko, and three solid green mana for one dude only seems too much of a risk too me. It definitely has its advantages of the legendary snake--namely that it doesn't cost six in total, which means you might actually need the extra mana and be able to use it in the early game--but considering the kinds of other effects you can get for an Aura that costs three, this feels like it's on the weak side.
Sigil of the Undead:
This card is much more interesting. I like the subtlety of being able to throw it on an opponent's dude and being able to score a bit a card advantage out of it. The only problem I have with this card is that I would have it read: "...you may return another target creature card from your graveyard that shares a type with [enchanted creature] into play."
For what it's worth, the winner this round is Krey with Sigil of the Undead. *fanfare*

I don't really understand the synergy between the white in its mana cost and its check for mountains and swamps. This being the case I don't see it being run that much, even in limited. Also, the last check should be for a forest.

I actually like this card. I'm assuming it's a common meant for a wedge block, which I'm sure Wizards will eventually design. Given that, though, I doubt it should be double white, since then it would be too hard to cast in limited. Clever in that it combines white with red to push damage through (a red effect), or with black to remove a creature (a black effect).

Hehe, I think you templated this another time here, which combined with this templating gives you the correct version:
:symtap:: The next instant or sorcery spell you play this turn has storm.
since if you can target it, it's already on the stack. Storm triggers when the card is played. It's a cool card, pretty straightforward, with related abilities. It's not synergistic, though, since doing both doesn't give you anything more than the sum of the separate effects. I don't know if the first ability is broken, as it would be quite good with Niveous Wisps or Lava Spike. But it is expensive and fragile enough, so I think it's fine. As for flavor, it could use a less generic name, and maybe could be legendary.
This was pretty hard to judge because both cards were good, but it was difficult primarily because it's comparing apples and oranges (commons and rares). If I had to choose, though, I would hand it to sclocke42 because I think it has more synergy and flavor, and commons are quite hard to design simply and well.

Great card. Fits the card name and the land-sac ability can be extremely powerful. My only qualm with this card is that in Magic, "Hatchlings" usually grow into something big. This card doesn't fit that mold- which is fine. I love designing cards that break the mold. However, the lack of "growing" added on to the fact that the land destruction seems a bit out of place makes this card feel a little random. Great card though!

Well, its just really really weak. If it was designed to take care of the card before it, it doesn't really deal with the sac a land as the dragon is still seeing play. Wow, how very narrow-minded...
First of all, its a play on the old card Rashida Scalebane so that adds elegance and depth to it. As for playability, it is a completely playable card in Type 2 as it kills Broodmate Dragon and Chameleon Colossus. Also, I would gladly sac a land to deal with a flying beater. Remember, the Hatchling costs 5, so it wont start attacking until my 5th or 6th turn. By that point, I don't mind sacrificing one of my 5 or 6 lands in play.

honestly, I wouldn't call something that dies to a shock or fallout a flying beater, but nevertheless...
Homee1212: I do like the card, and I'm a fan of nostalgia, that being said, a card that is made to target threats isn't always popular, that one prodragon bird in scourge didn't do too well iirc, and this probably wouldn't do too much better, only because there is more viable removal for those threats that isn't limited to those threats...
youkai_blood: I'm not sure if its a typo or a made up word, but the idea is very nice on the card, though the card looks clunky especially with such an ugly mana cost... the thing I like most and least about the card is just how swingy it is, I feel it would suffice to have white in its cost somewhere, because without it, I'm not sure how I feel about having attack stall, but that's just something small, nicely done overall, just kind of awkward
winner goes to Homee1212, because the card is more elegant

find me 3 people that would even consider putting it in sideboard and i'll give you that, telling me your own card is elegant is nothing but stroking your own ego...you know what also kills broodmate dragon? celestial purge, wrath of god, condemn, path to exile...the list of better cards goes on and on, and they're not costing you 4 mana for a 2/3 that can't do what its supposed to do until its lasted a turn on the field...and the odds that you're facing down a broodmate or colossus despite being good cards is still not in your favor.
@cannon, nah, its not a typo, causality is a state of being where you feel remorse or guilt over an act, usually from something that you really shouldn't be feeling pressure from. But a casuality complex is just someone who feels overly at fault for bad things happening or feeling at fault for something that has nothing to do with them.

- neat ability, green just can't benefit from it too often, the card as its own though isn't bad. The fact that its trample makes it worth the cost, but U/G doesn't really have a place for it. Not a bad card at all, I just don't see it being used...narrow minded because I'm not looking at some T1 combo? probably not, i give it to cannon because the card would just see more use either as a pretty bomb in draft/block, or a utility card for 5CC / U control.

Homee1212:
Keeperofzion: Intesting card. The ability would seem to fit more in red than green. The need to destroy one of your lands would seem to balance it. It seems a bit too powerful. Maybe if it destroyed the land when it dealt damage to an opponent it would be more balanced.
Homee1212: Nice card. Giving mana for dealing damage to an opponent is very balanced even with GGG cost. Very nice design.

Sigil of the Undead 2BB
Enchantment - Aura
Enchant Creature
Enchanted creature gains "Whenever this creature is put into a graveyard from play, you may put a creature with the same type from your graveyard into play."
*fanfare*
My card:
Valor's Scorn WW
Sorcery (C)
Target creature gains first strike and vigilance until end of turn.
If you control a Mountain, target creature can't block this turn.
If you control a Swamp, target creature must block this turn if able.
--Ertai, wizard adept
Very balanced card. It reminds me of Necromantic Thirst except for the added bonus of tribal synergy. Would have loved to see some flavor text for this card, but it fits the color-pie and the mana cost. Good Job.
I don't really understand the synergy between the white in its mana cost and its check for mountains and swamps. This being the case I don't see it being run that much, even in limited. Also, the last check should be for a forest.
Winner: Krey

I actually like this card. I'm assuming it's a common meant for a wedge block, which I'm sure Wizards will eventually design. Given that, though, I doubt it should be double white, since then it would be too hard to cast in limited. Clever in that it combines white with red to push damage through (a red effect), or with black to remove a creature (a black effect).
Hehe, I think you templated this another time here, which combined with this templating gives you the correct version: since if you can target it, it's already on the stack.
Winner: sclocke42
Can I post a card someone else designed?
I would probably cost it as 3UURR or 4UUR and change the numbers around a bit, but I guess it's the design that really matters.
OunceOfGold
Homee1212: Nice concept. The copy ability could have used a in addition to X. The storm ability seems well balanced with the skip a turn. This could be the engine for some nasty combo deck, still it seems well balanced.
Getitwrong: My first tought is what do I want a 5/8 monster to do? Well attacking seems a good idea, Add haste and the draw cards ability will be ignored. This card seems like a win more creature. btw I don't get the green evoke cost.
Winner: Homee1212

"Steel and wings combine for an explosive combination."
an interesting card, although i feel that it is a wee bit broken. maybe adding 1 more to the mana cost or adding a drawback would've been suffice.
nice card. about the name, it would be better if the name was Steelwing Hawk, imo. i would suggest adding red to its color since it would deal damage to a creature. the flavor text has potential; changing explosive to another word would've been better.
winner: Krey.

Very straightforward card that fits into the "White Flyers" portion of the color-pie. I can definitely see this card as a powerful uncommon in Block Constructed or Limited play. Great flavor as well. I love the tongue-in-cheek quote at the end. Good Job.

I personally love this card. With today's creatures I can actually see wizards printing it for 2RR, but nice nonetheless. A solid threat
Well, its just really really weak. If it was designed to take care of the card before it, it doesn't really deal with the sac a land as the dragon is still seeing play. Other than that it just seems like a legendary type ability...just not a very useful one. Maybe if dragon's ever became as powerful as affinity...
Winner: keeperofzion w/ the hatchling

Guilt was a luxury he couldn't afford to have, but a sensation he couldn't afford to let go.

This card is worded very weirdly. It's also templated wrong. That being said, its an up/down card that I feel would only see play in a Dredge/Threshold deck. However, none of those decks run U. I love the flavor text! But its not enough to save this card.
Love this card. Its dichotomy seems very useful in many different situations. I would have loved to see some flavor text, but I dont know if it would have fit on your card. Well done.

find me 3 people that would even consider putting it in sideboard and i'll give you that, telling me your own card is elegant is nothing but stroking your own ego...you know what also kills broodmate dragon? celestial purge, wrath of god, condemn, path to exile...the list of better cards goes on and on, and they're not costing you 4 mana for a 2/3 that can't do what its supposed to do until its lasted a turn on the field...and the odds that you're facing down a broodmate or colossus despite being good cards is still not in your favor.

- solid flexible critter that fits neatly into the mana curve, if it resolves gives you a good choie turn after play, slows you down a lot, but gives you answers for your problems. 3 health makes it worth it imo
