These are both very powerful, legendary artifacts. Since they have symmetrical abilities Odin's Fortress could have been a little cheaper, imo. Jormungand’s Monolith on the other hand, starts out like The Abyss, and finishes like a repeatable wrath once you get enough critters in the yard. It seems to me that once you get it online it would quickly become difficult to keep even the requisite Leviathan in play long enough to ensure beatdown.
Lorgalis
Valshamr, Falcon Skin - I'm not sure what to make of this card. I think the intent was that when equipped, the equipped creature phases out, and when it phases back in, it's a bird. But the card doesn't give the equipped creature phasing, it just phases the creature out. Without actually having phasing, the equipped creature wouldn't phase back in. Alright, now that I've been re-educated in phasing, I like this card a lot better. The flavor is awesome and the ability is nice too.
Loki's Bauble - This card I like, though if it reversed the traditional bauble ability by forcing a discard instead of a draw, it would feel a lot more Loki-ish to me.
1T4
These are nice. Preservation engine is well worth the cost to untap the regeration targets. Tooth Sharpener is also very cool. The flavor of both cards is spot on.
Dragoon26
I can see Fenrir wanting to play the lone wolf in this fight, and I like the idea of his artifacts stealing mechanics from the others (The lone wolf takes what it wants, and leaves the rest) Both are good cards, helm is definitely my favorite of the two. I think you could have captures the flavor even more if you set the equip costs in colors that represented the gods they were stolen from, but that's just me.
blacker_lotus
So, the chamber represents Sleipnir and the Hamer (Hammer?) is Sleipnir & Freya? If so the well done on the flavor, even without text. I had to look up the definition of Evanescence, but the mechanic fits the name very well. The chamber is cool , it reminds me of Oblivion Stone though, with more hoops to jump through. Hamer, on the other hand very interesting, the regen cost should also remove a charge counter though.
After careful considerations, there were many very good cards here I have to choose...

3. Dragoon26

Asking out a girl is like trying to cast a first turn Necropotence. Sometimes the other player will have the Force of Will to say no. You shouldn't let that stop you from trying it.
Is a cicle of Five lands that hate a color, then each fit with 4 gods
The alliances are not clear due to they are unestable and become more unestable

The hate-white land is for when the non-W gods (Geirrord (URG), Jormungand (UBG),

Baldur (RGW), Thor (WBR), Sleipnir (BGW) and Freyr (RWU)) and so on with the other

@Seratonin they are world lands becuase they trigger for each land tapped, for instance if you play Enormous Baloth with only basic lands, you would get 7 1/1 creature tokens, world was the only way to stop some one from having one of each in play and decimating the field.

Create two parts of a cycle. It can be a vertical cycle (C, U, R) or a 5 col cycle or a 10 color cycle, or a rivalry cycle, whatever you wish. There are two restrictions though. 1 it has to be an artifact card. 2 one of the cards must follow this set's mechanical theme but not with the God who has been assigned those mechanics. I.e. you either need a new mechanic in accordance with the theme or you need a reason to justify the mechanic being used under a different God.
Team Freyr’s Reviews
Lorgalis Very nice cards. The bauble’s flavor text is nice, would had been nice to see flavor text on the falcon skin. Great nordic myth feeling to the cards. The falcon skin is great and implements the phasing mechanic nicely. The attach ability is very nice and works great in defense. The bauble is a very nice free cantrip and giving transmute to a card is just the icing on the cake. J
Seratonin Very nice cards, A reminder text would have been nice on the Emulate ability. The background for the card is very nice. The fortress seems a bit too powerful with the countering the big spells, but I guess it depends if it is emulating an advisor. The monolith seems more balanced even when it could be instant death to creatures late in the game.
Dragoon26 Interesting cards. Lack of flavor text hurts them. The robe feels like a clone variant. Good uncommon card but not that exciting. The helm is a little bit more interesting. The effects are very good and very useful.
1T4 Very nice cards. Awesome flavor text. Nice way to show all three colors on the card’s abilities. The engine’s really good at what it does. Really fits Freya The Tooth Sharpener is very nice, but for what it does it seems a bit undercosted. For a wolf theme deck this has the greatest name! J
Blacker Lotus Interesting approach with the charge counters. Very nice with the keyword, even when it has some minor templating issues. The lack of flavor text really hurts the cards since there is no relation to the setting. The chamber is very interesting and very creative. The use of the keyword really shines here. The hammer is a bit more complex due to the rulings effects of all the abilities.

@ Lorgalis: Ty for the critique, maybe they are screwed in an unfunny manner, but hey Ragnarock is almost here, you must do things without mercy... and maybe the best way to fix that was to put at end of second abilit "Any player may play this ability"

Odin's Fortress:
Counter noncreature spell feels more like a green ability and this card isn’t green, if you play this against a green deck of big creatures you are dead. Also is antiblue, due to blue use a lot of non creature spells, then I think that the chosen God alignment is wrong. Maybe a Fenrir or Baldur alignment would be better
Jormungand's Monolith:
I think this ability also has a wrong God alignment, flowstone ability is red, and this artifact isn’t red, maybe a Thor or Geirrord alignment would be better
Lorgalis
Valshamr, Falcon Skin

Talking about the flavor, why does Loky need the artifact to become a Falcon if he is able to take any form he wants

4/4-Well balanced card. Johnny Loves
4/4-Quality is great.
5/5-Loves the flavor
2/4-removal land extraordinare, this card is sick.
3/4-I think you need reminder text that the creature either still is or is no longer a creature.
5/5-Me likes, paranoid UB land that kills all.
11.5/13
WUBPRG
0/4-Really strong ability...like sick strong. Play this card on turn 5 and tap all your lands and get 4 1/1 tokens. And mana. And it's tutorable due to swampiness.
4/4-no problems here.
4/5-the phrase 'defend his neutrality' just turns my inner vorthos off....and he talks a lot so it's odd that he's quiet.
04-Broken. Simple as that. Blue getting that much direct damage is so sick. It turns MUC into 'I have more life than you? Cool you dead'
4/4-no problems here
4/5-I don't mind that you're using the FT to fulfill the round's criteria, it just seems so forced.

3/4-Not a U/R ability, W/B maybe, definitly not U/R.
5/5-Great.
4/4-Really like this card. Great benefit that you really need to work for.

5/5-Flavor me happy
10.5/13
Mindwrencher
0/4-Broken. It basically states 'you can't play spells without paying me first....' so sick especially on a non-legendary land.
3/4-while the 'hole in the soul' is cool and all, ability words need to be consistant from card to ard, so all of them would have to say 'hole in the soul'.
5/5-You worked hard on the flavor and I love it.
0/4-Broken. See above....broken.
3/4-see above.

4/4-Works
3/5-Now that's what I wanted from this month's theme, but not what I was looking for in the round challenge, where's the rivalries?
3/4-Generic CA and a tutor for 0. It's strong but not worth the slot in most constructed decks. GILBIC?

3/5-Great flavor, but again it doesn't show any rivalries besides identifying loki's persona.

2/4 This card is pretty sick. You get an extra land drop and card advantage every time it hits. Rampant growth is one thing, but if this thing gets going it's going to hurt.
4/4 Worksheets
3/5 See above
10/13
Blacker Lotus
4/4-Reminds me of plague boiler. Not broken but definitely interesting
2/4-you forgot 'remove from the game'. As written the card does nothing.
3/5-Definitly could see the ability-god relationship working, but like so many others no rivalries...
4/4-It's okay, for a colored artifact that expensive I'd expect a little more.
2/4-Way to many words to fit on a little magic card.
3/5-See above
@Gifts Trix... the truth is that all that thing is part of a set and it have things like this (that i made about a year ago)
Decolorator5
Enchantment
~ is all colors
You may pay 2 instead of each colored mana of each spell you play, if you didn't spend colored mana to play a spell it becomes colorless
Sounds known? i made this before know about hybrid symbols with colorless mana
As blacker_lotus said Wizard stole my idea in Shadowmoor
Then with this (or some of my other cards that make the same thing with a different twist) you don't have to pay with the hated colored mana... and in response of the second ability of the lands you could add mana
But I have to admit they are so strong and I thought I had make it Legendary
Well anyways I think I am too far to pass to round 4

Even legendary would be too strong. The cards state "every time your opponent taps a land for mana they discard a card" or "every time your opponent taps a land for mana they lose 2 life" and it's on a land, without an insane high mana cost. I love the idea behind the cards, love the flavor, but they are sooo sick. They make tarmogoyf look like a grizzly bear
Hey Gift? How'd I manage a perfect score and not get in your T3? And just one review, with two seperate cards... Just wondering
@Mind: The flavor is that Odin's wisdom shuts down all other influences and places power back into the power of his army :symwb:. The monolith is part Green's pump, blue's P/T change, and part black shrinks. So, a GUB way to get to a flowstone, besides, he learned the trick from Loki.

4/4-Great card Me like.
4/4-No problems that I saw.
5/5- Great.

4/4-Great card
4/5-Really cluttered card though...the transmute is just a little too much.

Krey
0/4-Sick. URT=destroy target attacking creature, will never be okay on a land, especially when you can do so much more with it.
3/4-Not a U/R ability, W/B maybe, definitly not U/R.
5/5-Great.
4/4-Really like this card. Great benefit that you really need to work for.
4/4-Works
5/5-Flavor me happy

Mindwrencher
0/4-Broken. It basically states 'you can't play spells without paying me first....' so sick especially on a non-legendary land.
3/4-while the 'hole in the soul' is cool and all, ability words need to be consistant from card to ard, so all of them would have to say 'hole in the soul'.
5/5-You worked hard on the flavor and I love it.
0/4-Broken. See above....broken.
3/4-see above.
5/5 -See above.

Lorgalis
4/4-Phasing to any 1 crit for UU, or flying on the cheap. I like, strong but not sick.
4/4-Works
3/5-Now that's what I wanted from this month's theme, but not what I was looking for in the round challenge, where's the rivalries?
3/4-Generic CA and a tutor for 0. It's strong but not worth the slot in most constructed decks. GILBIC?
4/4-works
3/5-Great flavor, but again it doesn't show any rivalries besides identifying loki's persona.

3/5 I like the flavor of stealing abilities with artifacts (something powerful mages would be able to do) but where are the rivalries?

2/4 This card is pretty sick. You get an extra land drop and card advantage every time it hits. Rampant growth is one thing, but if this thing gets going it's going to hurt.

Decolorator 5
Yay!!! Mirrodin is back!!! it will be a great year
I apologize about how I write (I mean my grammar and orthography)

@Mind: The flavor is that Odin's wisdom shuts down all other influences and places power back into the power of his army :symwb:. The monolith is part Green's pump, blue's P/T change, and part black shrinks. So, a GUB way to get to a flowstone, besides, he learned the trick from Loki.
