It's not inherently broken, but you have to keep in mind how many cards reference other cards by name when choosing the cards abilities and types. It makes accumulated knowledge good and thrumming stone broken, but cards that check type rather than name like urza's tower are unaffecred.

You'd hardly need it anyways. Having 8 copies is plenty, with so much room to build around.
I think _____ wanted to speak volumes on the effect, but that was also when it could ace legendary creatures 1 for 1.
Is there a rule that specifies costs designated by name must be the same permanent?
Being able to sacrifice a Fabled card for Bottle Gnomes' ability would be highly amusing, and add much game value I think.
