Hilltop Troll1G Creature — Troll
Whenever a creature an opponent controls with power equal to or greater than Hilltop Troll attacks, Hilltop Troll deals 1 damage to that creature. G: Regenerate Hilltop Troll. It leads one after the next to their abasement?
It recognizes a threat when it sees one, so it throws a rock at it. Even if it's just equal power, it tries to get the edge.
It doesn't want to fight or have to struggle—it is a lazy troll at the top of the hill.
The regenerate is probably too strong with that mana cost. While the ability isn't not green it would feel better as a red/Green card both for color pie and power level.
I know it's not the intent but it's kind of cool to have designed a creature that wants to have it's power shrunk. Agree with User_9 that it probably should be Gruul not mono green. At 1RG I think it's still quite a good limited card and I'm not sure it's a constructed card either way.
Edit: I know wotc does it but trolls that small just feels wrong to me from a flavor POV. Trolls should be like giants. At least a 3/3 or bigger imo. But Wotc disagrees and that's just my personal hobby horse.
Hilltop Troll throws stones at your own creatures, including himself, not only ruining some of the flavor but removing him from combat by either killing him or regenerating him. I think this would be cool if it were a 1/(X>1) rather than be changed to affect only opponents, because I quite like the idea of more Enrage enablers in green. I'd be really happy to cut Caltrops for something like this. I think with a change like that this becomes a really cool, flavorful, and somewhat powerful card.

Trolls are giantkin in that they are morphologically related to giants, but they aren't necessarily all big. They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes.
Yeah, the only real knock against this is that the deal damage to attackers is pretty solidly red, so this makes more sense as a red/green creature or mono-red with green activation than it does as mono-green.
Otherwise its probably strong for its cost but has no rules issues and is templated correctly.
Solid creation and good progress in your design efforts.

I think it's really close for that.
If you increase its power, the range of the effect is diminished. Although all it really needs is Deathtouch with Regeneration like that.

So it does, which makes sense for a troll, but wasn't the intended.
