So with a little leak, we found out that the deck themes are likely going to be based around old mechanics; Flashback, Morph, Populate, and Madness. I wanted to start a thread so people could post their card designs around these themes!

If the Morph deck is WUBRG, I think it only appropriate that Morph gets a legend to represent the block it first debuted in, Onslaught. And who do we know is a WUBRG card from Onslaught? Karona. Karona, False God was a rather disappointing card back in the day, simply being a tribal lord that gets traded around. If Karona were to get a Morph card, I'd want the Morph trigger to be something a little splashier and more godlike. Seeing as she allegedly sought out five godlike beings, one of each color, I figured a Conflux-like effect would work splendidly for both gameplay and flavor, turning her into a potential five-card tutor while referencing one of the more infamous parts of her story.
Karona ReincarnateWUBRG
Legendary Creature - God
Morph WUBRG
When ~ is turned face up, you may search your library for a white card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then you may do the same for blue, black, red, and green. If you search your library this way, shuffle it.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Oezon, the Formless 3
Legendary Creature (Mythic)
Flash
You may cast face-down spells as though they had flash by paying GUR rather than paying their mana cost.
If permanent you control turning face up would cause an ability of a permanent you control to trigger, that ability triggers an additional time.
2/2
*FYI Oezon depicts a face-down morph creature, as if it has nothing to switch back to*
Ixidor, Shaper of Dreams 1GUR
Legendary creature - Human Wizard (Mythic)

2/4
Ebzarat, the Endhowler 3GUR
Legendary Creature - Eldrazi Werewolf (Mythic)
Trample
Whenever a permanent you control transforms or is turned face up, you may pay 2. If you do, create a token that's a copy of that permanent. It gains haste.

At the beginning of each player's upkeep, Iasta deals 2 damage to that player unless they discard a card.
4/3

Runo Stromkirk 2UB

Legendary Artifact Creature - Golem (Mythic)
Whenever you cast a spell from your graveyard, create a 3/3 colorless Golem creature token.

- Jin-Gitaxias
4/6
Feyomsi, Ukud Regent 6UB
Creature - Cat Demon (Mythic)
Delve (Each card you exile from your graveyard while casting this spell pays for 1.)
When Feyomsi, Ukud Regent enters the battlefield, create X tapped 2/2 black Zombie creature tokens, where X is half the number of cards delved with it, rounded down.
Tap X untapped Zombies you control: Choose target face up exiled nonland card you own with converted mana cost X. Shuffle it into your library.
4/3
Since the Madness deck will encourage discard, I think now would be a good time for the Rakdos legend the original Ravnica block wanted. Rakdos the Defiler works fine as a sort of Demon-tribal card, but he doesn't interact with Hellbent they way he should have. Four years later, Conflux gave us Malfegor, who did pretty much exactly what Rakdos should have done to make him the perfect Hellbent enabler.
Now, with this Rakdos, I would give the Cult the Hellbent-enabling leader it's always wanted, while also adding in a little extra spice. I didn't want to just repeat Malfegor, so I opted for a different effect that creates Devil tokens, the kind that ping something when they die. Since sacrifice fits Rakdos, I included an upkeep trigger ability that forces the active player to sacrifice a creature. Just to make the card a little spicier, there's a serious penalty for players unable to sacrifice a creature to appease the demon...
Rakdos, Baron of Bedlam2BBRR
Legendary Creature - Demon
Flying, trample
When ~ enters the battlefield, discard your hand, then for each card discarded this way, create a 1/1 red Devil creature token with "When this creature dies, it deals 1 damage to any target."
At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player sacrifices a non-Demon creature. If that player can't, they lose the game.
6/6
Yes, that's right. If you can't sac a creature to Rakdos when your turn comes, he comes for you, and YOU LOSE THE GAME! If you discarded a bunch of cards when Rak hit the field, then you should have some Devils to buy you some time, but your opponents may not be so lucky.
