Some design ideas for a Medieval set, in which a tournament is taking place and visitors from all over the kingdom travel to the capitol city to watch the games and drum up some business.

Creature - Human Artificer
Whenever you tap ~, put an Equipment or Vehicle card with converted mana cost X or less from your hand onto the battlefield, where X is ~'s power. If that artifact is an Equipment, you may attach it to a creature you control.

Blacksmith's Hammer2
Artifact - Equipment
Whenever you tap equipped creature, look at the top card of your library. If it's an Equipment or Vehicle card, you may reveal it and put it into your hand, otherwise put it on the top or bottom of your library.

Smithy Wagon4
Artifact - Vehicle
When ~ enters the battlefield, search your library for an Artificer or Equipment card, reveal it, and put it into your hand, then shuffle your library.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Whenever you tap ~, put an equipment card or a vehicle card with a converted mana cost less than or equal to ~'s power from your hand onto the battlefield. If it's an equipment card, you may attach it to target creature you control without paying its equip cost.
These are pretty neat. Like a lot subtler Bogbrew Witch cycle. Vehicles seem... sorta out of place in a medieval setting? I know they did have carts and ships alike, but also the audience would more associated living creatures (noble steeds, etc) with transportation in this setting.

What's wrong with the original wording? The last clause is also simply wrong.

I found X unnecessary because its tied to the card's power. As for the last clause, that's my grammarian side.

I'd have Horses and other mounts too; just look at my Mount Up topic.
