Lothar and Alexandrite are the son of Lovisa Coldeyes and daughter of Darien, King of Kjeldor, respectively. When they fell in love and married, the once-warring nations of Balduvia and Kjeldor were reunited into New Argive.
Here, Lothar and Alexandrite are interpreted as a Partner With duo of legends, designed to synergize both with each other and their respective parents.
Lothar Lovissason4R
Legendary Creature - Human Warrior
Partner with Princess Alexandrite (When this creature enters the battlefield, target player may put Princess Alexandrite into their hand from their library, then shuffle.)
Battle cry
Whenever ~ attacks, attacking creatures gain double strike until end of turn.

Lovisa provides tribal benefits to Barbarians, Berserkers, and Warriors. For abilities, I liked the idea of both royals granting a keyword to attacking creatures whenever they attack. Lothar grants double strike, which is especially fierce with his mother's +2/+2 ability. And since both focus on aggro, I also added Battle Cry.
Princess Alexandrite3W
Legendary Creature - Human Cleric
Partner with Lothar Lovissason (When this creature enters the battlefield, target player may put Lothar Lovissason into their hand from their library, then shuffle.)
Battle cry
Whenever ~ attacks, attacking creatures gain lifelink until end of turn.

Darien creates Soldier tokens whenever you're dealt damage, so with Alexandrite I wanted some kind of lifegain ability that takes advantage of the tokens. I tried Soul Warden, Soulmender, and even Righteous Cause-esque effects, but I ended up using lifelink as part of the attacking-matters theme. Once Darien's Soldiers connect, you'll gain back the life you lost, and then some.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
It seems weird that the pair that end the war are so aggressively themed. The ability to grant such a potent keyword as double strike to your own board seems more potent than the five mana - especially considering the synergy with battle cry.
Neat choice of characters to partner up though.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.
[thread=239793][Game] Level Up - Creature[/thread]
Originally, they were going to be named King Lothar and Queen Alexandrite, but as their builds wanted to be more aggressive to better synergize with their parents, I decided to try representing them during the war, when they still would be leading on the battlefield (well, Lothar would have been anyway, being the son of a barbarian chieftain; Darien strikes me as the kind of father who'd try to keep his daughter safe inside castle walls a la Disney Princess films). Of course, it is possible they did have other enemies to battle after they married and merged Kjeldor and Balduvia into New Argive.

Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."
