I designed this card for a WUBRG deck themed around land subtypes, of all things. Domain is the primary mechanic, while Gates are a subtheme. Children of Velis Vel has the Prismatic Omen ability, which allows Gates to play into the Domain strategy.
Children of Velis VelWUBRG
Legendary Creature - Shapeshifter
Changeling (This card is every creature type at all times.)
Creature cards and tribal cards you own have changeling and are all colors.
Lands you control are every basic land type in addition to their other types.
5/5
Art concept: Five childlike changelings stand in a circle representing the five colors of mana. Each bears traits of the Lorwyn race most strongly associated with their color, holds a glowing object of the appropriate color, and stands on terrain of the appropriate basic land type. The white child resembles a kithkin, holds a glowing white sword, and stands on a patch of yellow grass. The blue child resembles a merrow, holds a glowing blue vial, and stands on a puddle of water. The black child resembles a boggart, holds a slingshot with a glowing purple stone, and stands on a patch of swamp. The red child resembles a flamekin, holds a glowing red hammer, and stands on red, rocky terrain. The green child resembles a gilt-leaf elf, holds a glowing green bow, and stands on a patch of saplings.
Yep, CoVV references tribal cards. Originally it granted the tribal supertype to noncreature, nonland cards, but I felt the current execution works better.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
I guess it does what it's supposed to do, but as a standalone card I can't say I like it that much. The Prismatic Omen ability doesn't really make much sense when you already need one mana of each color to cast this card in the first place. I also think that making a WUBRG 'catch-all' tribal legend is not a good idea since it simply gives all tribes acces to the same best tools, reducing differences in playstyles between them.
The ironic thing about this legendary changeling is that it's a terrible changeling commander, since there's no point in running anything other than a mishmash of lords, tribal spells, and tribal support. It certainly can't compete with Reaper King as a commander you actually want to run with changelings.

It's also surprisingly unsatisfying in its intended role as a domain commander since it just maximizes your domain count by itself, when half the fun of building a domain deck is getting there - similar to how it makes all tribes play the same by removing tribal restrictions.
Well, beyond something that cares about Changeling specifically, what kind of commander does a Changeling deck want? The whole point of Changelings is that they fit into any tribal deck. Since CoVV depicts five creatures, perhaps you choose five creature types and creatures you control are all five types?
CoVV could create Shapeshifter tokens a la Crib Swap. Kind of a Sliver Queen for any tribal deck, you know? As long as the Prismatic Omen ability is retained, that's the main point of the card after all.
@SecretInfiltrator: You have a point. Your Last Stand suggestion is interesting, as that would play into the Domain theme while also pushing in a new direction. Hmm...

Note that rules-wise, giving an object changeling doesn't actually give all creature types to that object. This is because type-changing effects are processed in an earlier layer than ability-adding effects are. By the time the object gains changeling, there won't be a layer further down that will apply the creature types that changeling gives. Because of this, "[objects] have changeling" needs to be "[objects] have all creature types" (with "and have changeling" added if you care specifically about the ability being present).

What kind of commander would a changeling deck want? Maybe a commander that is lord to multiple tribes?
Whenever three or more Elementals you control attack, return a creature card from your graveyard to your hand.
Whenever three or more Kithkin you control attack, you gain 10 life.
Whenever three or more Elves you control attack, destroy target noncreature permanent that is not a basic land.
Whenever three or more Merfolk you control attack, untap all creatures you control.
Whenever three or more Goblins you control attack, creatures you control get +1/+0 and gain menace until end of turn.
It's what changelings do that makes them hard to specifically design for: They work with everything. The best stuff is Coat of Arms-stuff.
EDIT: Here is a silly idea:
When ~ enters the battlefield, choose two/three/four/five creature types.
At the beginning of your end step, draw X cards, where X is the lowest number of creatures you control of a chosen type.

Oh, yeah, that's right. I always forget that that's the reason Runed Stalactite doesn't grant changeling.

A Last Stand commander would be a lot cooler.
