Stalwart Samurai 3U
Creature - Human Samurai {R}
Bushido 1
When ~ becomes tapped, sacrifice ~ and draw 1 card. He'd sooner die than leave his post.

Mysterious Dragon Egg 4RR
Creature - Dragon {C}
When ~ enters the battlefield, you become the monarch. 3R, sacrifice ~: Search your library for a Dragon card, put it onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle your library. You don't know what species of dragon it will be when it hatches, but you'd rather not find out.

Sleepy Hollow Specter 3BB
Creature - Specter Illusion {R}
Horsemanship
Prevent all combat damage that would be dealt to ~.
When ~ is targeted by a spell or ability, sacrifice ~.
Whenever ~ deals damage to an opponent, that player discards a card at random. "His haunts are not confined to the valley, but extend at times to the adjacent roads, and especially to the vicinity of a church at no great distance." - Washington Irving, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

Also, I think you would want this to cost 4, being Mythic, and its Specter ability should trigger when it enters the battlefield, in addition to when it deals damage, to max out the fantasy value here.
Stalwart Samurai is a flavor win, a powerful body, but if he is ever unable to defend, he suicides out of shame. Really a great design. It makes you think about how to use him as an effective attacker, and delivers if you can figure it out.
6cmc for the Monarch is really bad. The Monarch cards, even at common, give it to you at cmc4, and come with some other immediate benefit. Palace Sentinels and Thorn of the Black Rose both deliver a decent defense to try and keep that monarch. I would swap the casting cost and the activation cost, 3R to cast the egg and become the Monarch, 4RR to grab a dragon, that's the stereotypical cost of a dragon anyway.
Preventing combat damage on a black card is out of color, and makes it a bizarrely strong blocker. Other than that I love it.

Neat, but should probably just be unblockable.
