As a holiday goft for some friends I was considering creating each of them as a unique planeswalker. I know what I'd like the cards to be, but before I go putting them together, does anyone here know of any tips, tricks, programs, or websites that will print/create a high quality MTG card? It doesn't need to have the Deckmaster backing (I have a custom backing I want to use), but I was hoping to present it to them already printed at the correct size with good edges.
If anyone here knows a good way to do this, I'd love to know. I didn't see anything about printing in the FAQ.

He is asking how to print them not make them.

Again, Magic Set Editor.
Print on bright white printing paper with a color printer.
Scissors and/or a slicer are necessary.
While I agree that is the route to go when print magic cards, that is not what he is asking. If you read his post, he says
"does anyone here know of any tips, tricks, programs, or websites that will print/create a high quality MTG card?"
what he is asking for is actually a banned topic on this site (#0 day suspension for just mentioning i had printed proxies. I mean it was overturned as i did not advertise any sites that did it but it was a wake up call for me which is why i refused to list any site that would (As I know about 5)
thing is, i think he already has the Planeswalkers made and just wants them printed.

Banned topics. Ugh. I didn't know. That explains why there's nothing in the FAQ.
Though I do wonder why. Proxies are a growing aftermarket. I see alternate-art proxy commanders fairly frequwntly at local shops. The reason I asked in the first place is because most of the proxy-printer sites don't do custom. :/
Yeah. They were already made in MSE. Though, the resolutions are a bit lower than I'd like.
I know that the print option in MSE prints to almost exactly the correct size, but the problem is the paper size and printer quality.
You don't need Magic card sized paper.
But you do need a color printer, which we can't help with.
Otherwise, there shouldn't be any problems printing nice looking custom cards:
download mse
design cards
bright white 8.5"x11" typing/printing paper
color printer
print
scissors
cut
basic land
cutout card image
sleeve
insert both into sleeve
happy christmas friends
play magic
If you want better than that, then you're essentially asking for counterfeiting advice.
I can at least help you with card sizes and MSE.
If you wish to print it on paper.
Once you export and Image form MSE, make the sized 63mmx88mm
I don't have Photoshop so i have adjust it in MS word, so mine end up being 6.31cm by 8.8cm
Then just grab a basic land and the new cut and slip them into a sleeve.
And yes that is why you found nothing on the FAQ. In my country counterfeit cards are legal so long as they are not sold for profit. When it comes to tournament play, WotC could ban my DCI for using them if I did.
However this is a US site and you must abide by their rules. Thus the reason i have not provided a link for you. i really would like to help, but I can't.

I also will not help with aizing (and some sites have a copyright blocker, so even with custom artwork they may still cancel the print)
Honestly, given tbat .ost print comlanies also take a few weeks to complete an order, you should have done this earlier.

Thanks! It looks a lot like Printer Studio. I was tinkering with that site, deciding if I should use it.
Do you know if Artscow prints right up to the card edge?

It’s in beta. (Note that I only have three-ability walkers for the moment.)
As far as printing, not sure. There are a few folks like Doombringer who has experience. (You can find him as Reuben on the Custom Magic Discord.)
