MtG is where you can hate white players or black players, and still not be racist.
How would Future Visions even work? What zone would a creature spell be in when it resolves? Everything has to be somewhere, and resolved spells can't just sit around on the stack.
Yeah, that's what I figured. The implication was that the non-functional (for spells) line of text would be deleted and replaced with something functional, at least for spells. Incidentally, the current wording might work with token creation and creatures that enter the battlefield without being cast.
I dunno, there's something about people posting rule-bending text without thinking through how it would actually function that just irks me.
Maybe I think it can work like phasing or something. They are ignored until the next upkeep, I wanted it to work with tokens.
The problem is the creatures need to be somewhere until they enter the battlefield, and the can't stay in their previous zone as that is more often than not the stack. With phasing they are on the battlefield but treated as though they don't exist. If you want to use phasing you can either have them enter phased out which will double as a Torpor Orb or they can enter then phase out which means etbs will function as normal and it won't break up combos that can be executed at instant speed. Either method is fundamentally different from your current card most significantly in allowing your creatures to attack their first turn under your control. The concept of delaying summons would be better executed with a W card that effected both players having them enter phased out for the torpor orb effect. As a downside on a cost reduction it pulls in some strange directions. The effect really needs to be straightened out before you can really decide if this card is appropriate.
