I wish they'd expand a little into the opponent life gain themes they've touched on a couple of times.
Hour of Feasting
Instant
Prevent all damage that would be dealt this turn.
Until end of turn, whenever damage is prevented, that damage's controller gains 1 life.
Honey Golem3
Artifact Creature - Golem
All Bears and Insects attack you each combat if able.
Whenever a creature blocks or becomes blocked by Honey Golem, tap that creature. That creature gains lifelink until end of turn and doesn't untap during it's controller's next untap step.
2/7
Swarming Ants1G
Creature - Insect
Whenever an opponent gains life, create a token that's a copy of Swarming Ants.
1/1
Honeygobbler1G
Creature - Bear
Honeygobbler enters the battlefield with an additional +1/+1 counter on it if an opponent gained life this turn.
Whenever an opponent gains life, untap Honeygobbler.
2/2
Hour of Feasting: I feel like it's potentially too much lifegain, that could be very abusable, and that would cause games to go very long.
Honey Golem: 3 mana 2/7? (nearly) Whatever you write on it, it's too much. Again, with so much life, and so good blocker, the game would take forever.
Swarming Ants: Effectively killing all creatures with lifelink is too big punishment, as after 2 lifegains it's just unstoppable. I think it should just create a 1/1 Insect token instead, it could also gain P/T (1G 2/2 create a token on opponent's lifegain seems fine)
Honeygobbler: I really like this card.
I think if such mechanic were used, the rewards should be like Honeygobbler - small rewards on an otherwise playable card, and enablers should also be small effects, like lifegain on vampire cards in Ixalan. You can also use "each player gains life" for this.
