Cloud of Eyes3BBB

Whenever a non-eye creature dealt damage by ~ this turn dies, put two +1/+1 counters on ~.
When ~ dies, create a 1/1 black Eye creature token with flying for each +1/+1 counter on it.

Lurching CryptX1BB
Artifact Creature - Construct
Imprint - When ~ enters the battlefield, exile target creature card with converted mana cost X or less from a graveyard.
~ gets +Y/+Y, where Y is the imprinted card's power.
When ~ dies, put the imprinted card onto the battlefield under your control.
3/3 Edited to fix variable conflits.
Rip In Half4BB
Sorcery
Destroy target creature. If that creature dies this way, create two X/X black Zombie creature tokens, where X is half of that creature's power rounded up.
Tapping At The WindowBBB
Sorcery

----- Midnight Specter

Shadow
When ~ deals combat damage to a player, that player discards a card at random.

Thwy are all pretty good!
For Lurching Crypt, X is both CMC and power. I don't think it can stay that way. I think you should settle for either one and get rid of "or less", as adding Y to differentiate seems to be even worse.
Personally, I think the cost BBB (and MMM in general) should be reserved for special cards, as it is really hard to play on curve in non-dedicated decks. I don't think a combination of Mind Rot and Hypnotic Specter is so special, and I'd rather see this card as 3B or 2BB (as indeed, 1BB would probably be too good)
Lurching Crypt doesn't work, as the X value in the casting cost only is tracked while it's a spell on the stack. This means the imprint ability triggering when it enters the battlefield doesn't have information to go off of.
I like the idea of Rip in Half, though maybe "Split in Two" or some such might be more on point.
Oh, good catch on the Crypt, not sure how to reorganize t to work as intended though.
Cost is obviously flexible, as I was starting with flavor not mechanics. I ultimately went with BBB solely because Mind Rot and Hypnotic Specter both cost 3 and I thought keeping to that would be cute.
