Yep the only two. I usually try to keep the amount of custom cards in my commander decks low if possible.
I figured "Partners with" would actually keep them relatively balanced as they only partner up with each other rather than someone like Vial Smasher the Fierce. As I was aiming for a bit of a moon-sun or yin-yang vibe with them. Originally they started out as one legendary but it was a 4cmc and while mostly the same it didn't feel that unique. Which is how the design for two separate legends got started.

How do these look? They are siblings. Supposed to be ok on their on and stronger together. The Scry sets up the blind top card cast. Which is a bigger gamble if you don't know what it is. Looking for name suggestions in addition to critiques.
Vanguard is good, probably a lot of evasive blue creatures.
Augur is very good but definitely build around me as well. Scry effects would be very unique with him.
Together, I can see the scry being used to get out something big like a Stormtide Leviathan if setup properly.
An idea I had for a "Forest Creatures" themed commander deck: Shaellar, of the Fallen AcornGGG
Legendary Creature - Squirrel Warrior
Swift(This creature deals damage before creatures without Swift.) 2G: Shaellar gets +3/+0 until end of turn and fights target creature an opponent controls.
That render is epic! To remind you, if you don't already know, having swift will not make Shaellar deal damage first in a fight. Fighting creatures deal damage simultaneously. In addition, the way the activated ability is worded is just fine, however, you won't be able to buff without being required to fight a creature an opponent controls. Which is fine of course, but it could be something you might consider adding a may clause to.
Edit: Please also include a text version of all cards you post for those they may not be able to load images. Thanks you.
Drosera, Heart of Muraganda 2G

Thanks for the input. Swift isn't limited to combat damage, though, so wouldn't it make Shaellar (in a any situation in which it and another creature would deal damage) deal damage before other creatures? The fight mechanic states "Each deals damage equal to its power to the other" therefore, Shaellar would deal damage first. Right? Please correct me if I'm mistaken.
Also, Drosera seems like it would work very well and it's a great concept, but it might a little too low costing. That's pretty much the only critique.
By the way, I really like this thread. Custom commanders are one of my favorite things.
The deal with fight, and how damage is assigned, is that there's no "check" for lethal damage in between one creature assigning its damage, and the other.
First strike and double strike (and triple strike in Un-land) have the advantage of creating a whole new combat step, so first strike damage is applied, then lethal damage is checked, and then the non-first strike creature, if it's still around, deals its damage back. But that doesn't, and can't, happen with how fight abilities are written.

Okay, thanks.
So if I wanted it to work, I'd have to say "Whenever this creature fights a creature, it deals damage first." or something similar, or would I run into the same problem? If so, how can I word it so that I achieve a First strike-like effect in a fight?
you would use the wording for a one-sided fight:
• Target creature you control deals damage equal to its power to target creature you don't control.
• Shaellar deals damage equal to its power to target creature you don't control.
• Target creature deals damage equal to its power to another target creature.
• Target creature you control deals damage equal to its power to target creature an opponent controls.
There are many ways to word a one-sided fight depending on the specific circumstances you want to be able to achieve or what sort of flavor you want to convey. Nature's WayClear Shot
Also note, that one-sided fighting used to be red but now its green. However, red still gets it
If you want the other creature to deal damage back to Shaellar if it survives the blow, you could create a delayed trigger effect (e.g., "At the beginning of the next end step, that creature deals damage equal to its power to Shaellar"). There may be a little weirdness in that other players will get priority in between, and whether other sources have damaged either creature.
How is Swift intended to work with first strike and double strike? How does it work if it gets blocked by another creature with swift, too?
Well, as I see it, Swift would work the same as First Strike for combat, but it would also work for normal damage as well. If two creatures (one with Swift, one without) would deal combat or noncombat damage to each other simultaneously, the creature with Swift would deal it's damage first, and if the other survives, that creature would deal it's damage. I'm not sure how to achieve this without using a new form of Fight, because fight is a good mechanic that I have no problem with. Also, if I were to make a spell that gives a creature Swift, I would want it to effect all damage that it deals, rather than just in a fight that it initiates.

The problem in your assumption is the "if the other survives" part. If there is an ability that casuse two creatures to deal damage to each other, one dealing damage first to the other will only make a difference for stuff like wither/infect, not for lethal damage. Since State-based actions are not checked during the resolution of a spell/abilitiy, "the other" will always survive - even if it has been dealt lethal damage first already - the dying doesn't happen until the next time a player would receive priority.
You could create a new form of fight that works so only creatures that haven't marked lethal damage or their toughness reduced to 0 or less deal damage... but that's really not something you want to write in the reminder text either...
You could make a new set of actions called assault/retaliate, where assault is "deals damage equal to its power to the other. When it does, the other retaliates." and retaliate is "deals damage equal to its power to the other." This way retaliation is a delayed trigger directly following the assault and between the two there is time to cast spells/activate abilities/check lethal damage & die.
Now you add a rule that replaces fighting each other with the swift creature assaulting each creature it would fight instead.
Still... lots of stuff you couldn't fit on a card, but would have to be learnt by heart by players - just a possible technical work-around in case you plan to make a custom rules workshop to fix this mess.
Okay thanks.
I doubt that I'll be expanding swift too much, since I'm only going to be playing it in casual, I'll just explain how it works rather than having all that rules text on the card. I think I'll leave it as it is so as not hijack the entire thread.
Also there are other things that I'd like to post.
Reaper of Dimensions3BB

Multi-kicker 2B
Fear
At the beginning of each opponent’s upkeep, that player sacrifices X creatures, where X is the number of times Reaper of Dimensions was kicked.

Thoughts? I went for something similar to the Demogorgon from Stranger Things, though I'm not sure if exile would have been better than sacrifice. Exile would cause a few problems though with the last ability.
Why fear? Just for the flavor? Intimidate and menace capture that same flavor, and intimidate at least would usually work the same mechanically and is only a little outdated compared to fear being 10 years outdated at this point.
This is the sort of thing that, a), should have a smaller base cost and body, and b), should use counters to track. Nobody wants to have to remember the number of kicks without.

Yeah, just for flavor. Also if this will be a commander, it doesn't matter anyway because there probably won't be very many black "color change" spells, especially in a deck with this as a commander.

Oh thank you very much for the render. Also the altered wording is good. I also really liked the art as well. I tried to look for the artist as some do post their works on artstation but I couldn't find it.

I don't like the inelegance of the first ability. Giving something evolve doesn't matter much if you don't have other creatures in hand, and if something can tap to put a counter on itself or something else you go infinite fast.
The -X seems absurdly powerful. You basically get a sorcery that gives eight points of power on the board for 2GU.
The -8 has the downside of killing all of your non-countered creatures, but I guess if you're okay with that...
Got an idea of my own, as well! (Sans render because I don't like searching for them.)

I wanted to design a "heroic Rakdos" legend, and this is what I got. She's a hypothetical rebel leader against a staid regime in a dreamlike, magic-heavy cityscape. Exploit is the returning mechanic (in (B/R)): although Yuliyana doesn't benefit from exploiting herself, when her comrades die plans are set into motion - sometimes under her control, and sometimes not. Would love feedback on whether she seems like an interesting commander, and whether she's appropriately costed.

@Phosphorus Yuliyana of the Crows make an excellent commander and I don't believe it even needs tweaking. Perhaps 4/2 instead of 3/3 in order to utilize that first strike a little more. Yuliyana makes a great Wall creature and can become offensive when needed. A nice design.
