Even though it doesn't count nonbasics, this card is still way more powerful than Temple of the False God. Lands that tap for more than one mana are dangerous no matter how you split it. Either a drawback renders them useless, or a insufficient drawback makes them overwhelming. There is no happy medium when dealing with something so inherently powerful.
