I personally think the current version with restriction to actual "object" card types takes a good step towards a resonant design. I can't say the choice of keywords and how to handle them is very inspiring. A static haste seems like a good idea since the purpose of haste on these is to make misplays impossible - since you still have to choose between trample and haste in the current version you still need to be careful about summoning sickness - inviting misplays.
So the current version should be acceptable now, right?
So the current version should be acceptable now, right?
The design seems mechanically alright. Haste is not primary for the colors, but is justified here by mechanical wants and is technically tertiary (IIRC) in green. Not having haste at all is a valid option (compare Ensoul Artifact, Gigantiform) - it is optional haste that is problematic.
Thematically as a top-down design it seems weird that the spell "Animate Object" can be used to standardize the size of already animated creatures which IIRC was re-introduced in the latest version. I'd argue for a change of name if the functionality is kept.
Templating could be improved. If I am not mistaken the static abilities can be merged into one ability that sets power and toughness (compare once again Gigantiform).
From a balance perspective this seems good. It's clearly stronger than Ensoul Artifact along two axes, so costing a whole mana more can be considered justified, so it's a good guess at an appropriate cost.
I wouldn't expect it to make it through development unchanged anyway if you ever put it into a set. So it has that level of acceptable.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."
