Naturally, Apoquallyp borrowed a microphone from The Albuquerque Bi-Annual Janitors' Convention for this interview, but I can't quite make out if he's at the bottom of the ocean or the edge of the universe. Wherever he is, there's llamas.
Haven't listened yet, but here's my review of He Who Defies Logic.
The flavor is close, but doesn't quite get me there... at least without any outside explanations. Hopefully the set has some other flavor regarding this character and/or Telar. There are serious developmental concerns around the activated ability; I'd probably include a mana cost in the ability somewhere. Token copies are always something I'm hesitant about, especially since the copies will have text on them that's irrelevant (tokens don't stay in graveyards - but players might wonder if there's a window where they can use the lifegain from a token dying somehow). It took me way too long to realize that the token copy would cause a legend rule gamestate and would put the original card into the graveyard immediately, so the challenge of "I want the card to die" isn't even a challenge. Instead it's masturbatory rules trickery that less enfranchised players will misplay. There isn't a threat of "I make 3 tokens and kill you next turn," but it's basically "you can't spot remove my creature because I'll just make a new one" unless they use enough removal in a single turn that you won't get to lifelink back the health to make another one. It's really hard to actually deal with, and my mental playtests show games really warping around the card. I do, however, think that it could move up into printable range if there was the potential for "shields down" on the duplicate ability. As designed, I think the card would have a negative impact on most games, so I rate it a 3.

Based on Apoquallyp's avatar, I'm guessing bottom of the ocean, maybe in Iamur ?
