Happy to hear the overall positive sentiment about Dragonstew Shaman. As I was designing it, I realized it would be most at home either as part of Kolaghan's forces on Tarkir or as an underling of Jund. I decided to use a neutral name that could fit on either plane to allow it to be printed in both. While it could have been monocolor, it would've had to cost 2RR while both environments want powerful and buildaround uncommons to be multicolor or allow for multicolor decks more easily. Of course, these have to be judged indiscriminantly of environment, but I still found it useful to design with environment in mind. In hindsight I agree with the criticism on the hybrid cost. Thanks for the feedback!
